It is not often we get reports of really aggressive Bigfoot behavior. Yeah we get some, but most of them are things like rock throwing and aggressive sounds. It is not very often that we can read about  Bigfoot running after people.

This following report is not too far from me and is in an area I'm somewhat familiar with, even though I have never been to this particular spot. This report also reminds me of a local report, one in which I know some of the people, where a Bigfoot chased after some boys on a ATVs. You can read that case by Clicking Here.

This case and the local one I just mentioned, make me wonder if it has something to do with the sound of the ATV or if it is just a wrong place wrong time scenario.

We live in strange times. In which people seem to pick and choose the “facts” they like. All you have to do is turn on your favorite news source every day. Based on your socio-political beliefs and personal perceptions of the world, you can choose the news source you like best by picking the one that tells you the most stuff you want to hear. While most of it has nothing to do with the real complete truth. The real truth is probably somewhere in between the two sides. But that’s not what you get because that’s not what you want. That doesn’t sell the news. What you get is a filtered version of events, tailored to your personal preferences. In essence, in order to acquire your viewership, they tell you what you want to hear.  And you reject all other contrary information out there with a vengeance because, quite frankly, you just don’t like it and you’re not willing to believe it. Police are called after an apparent Bigfoot tried to break into the house of a 78 year old woman. The woman became so frightened that she fled the house out of total fear. The Bigfoot damaged not only the house but also the smokehouse that was on the property.

Once police were on the scene they found the storm door of the house damaged alone with the wooden frame. The wooden frame was splintered.

But this was only the start of the investigation for the officer, things were about to get much worse.

Continuing with my look back at vintage sighting reports, today we learn about an 11 foot tall, orange eyed monster that is said to stalks Lover lane.

The creature is estimated to weight 1000 pounds and live in Central Ohio near a lonely road named Lovers Lane. It was in this area where the creature is said to stalk occupants of parked cars and scare teenagers.

It seems like every town has a "Lovers Lane" but not all of them have a local monster terrorize young lovers.

In my travels and research I sometimes run across some interesting reports about Bigfoot. The report featured today was one that I was not familiar with and can't recall hearing about it. The case comes from Washington County, Missouri. Missouri is home to a bigfoot like beast known as MOMO. The name Momo is just a short term for Missouri Monster.

It seems that a call came into the sheriffs office a little after 2am that a man had shot a 7 foot tall "hairy beast" 9 times at point blank range.  The call was taken very seriously and about a dozen officers, from two different police departments, were dispatched to an areas known as Hamilton Hollow.

I'm guessing that a lot of people have never heard of this report that appeared in Anchorage Daily News back in 1993. Often times these reports are buried away and forgotten. I'm attempting to bring many of these lost or little know accounts back to the bigfoot community. We must remember that many new bigfoot enthusiast join the community often and they need to know about these historical accounts.

The follow account comes from a refrigeration mechanic by the name of Dana Jacallen. Jacallen is sure he's had several encounters with bigfoot and recounted them for the newspaper. After reading the original publishing, I say the chances he encountered bigfoot is very good.

Hairy creature scares three people in Shiawassee County, Michigan. The towns folks hear about the sightings of this unknown creature and take steps to protect themselves. Many of the residents say they will start packing some type of gun in case they have a run in with this hairy creature.

A few other people actually saw this hairy creature as it ran into the shallow south branch of the Shiawassee River. Several of them called the local police and two deputies were dispatched. Once on the scene the two deputies gave chase to the creature but never saw it. They reported hearing sloshing in the river.

Now, if I stopped right there you would probably assume this was a typical bigfoot sighting, but there is more to the story.

When we talk about Bigfoot, we often get into a conversation about if and when giants roamed the land. When it comes to Bigfoot, many are quick to tie Bigfoot to some type of descendant of Gigantopithecus. There are some problems with this for many of us. Gigantopithecus, from what we know, appears to be much more ape-like in appearance, while Bigfoot is more human-looking. But the thing is, we are only really guessing at the appearance of Gigantopithecus at this point.

Today I want to share an old bigfoot sighting report with everyone. This brings back memories from when I was just a small boy and we would go to the drive-in. We seemed to always stop and get our windshield cleaned real good at some gas station before the show. We'd drive in and park, then someone would dash out to the concession stand for some popcorn and drinks. It was a fun and rememorable experience. Sadly about all of our drive-in theaters are just a thing of the past. But there are a few still in operation, if you can find them.

Oh boy, in a way it really funny and sad at all the same time. This short video clip of what was, at the time, supposed to be a bigfoot came out in late 2005. It was supposedly filmed by a guy name Mark Nelson. The story he told was that he was hiking with his girlfriend and filmed this "thing" after hearing some movement in the brush. It was film in Sonoma, California.

Even thought this is an old and thoroughly debunked clip, some people, even some "researchers", are fooled by this clip. Theses folks getting fooled just don't know much about the subject and are just not doing their homework on the clip.

I thought I would just alert everyone about a movie that was just released on November the 7th, 2017.
It is entitled Sightings and it is getting some pretty good reviews. Although, I have not watched the film I thought our followers might be interested in hearing a little more about it.

The plot, in a nutshell, goes like this:

I've seen this picture passed around for years and thought it would be good to give more information about it. The pictures was taken in Dewdney, British Columbia in 2006.

There is a river tour, called the Fraser River Safari that takes people to the 100 year old haunted house in Kilby. During the tour this figure was spotted on the river bank. The supposed Sasquatch moved around as if angry and threw rocks. It then disappeared behind some bushes. This event was witnessed by 19 people on the boat tour.

This is one of the best-documented bigfoot track findings that you will come across. It was well documented by the Gray's Harbor Sheriff's Dept.

A video was recently upload to Youtube of  what is said to be a bigfoot walking in the woods in Ohio. The description is very brief and basically just states that the man was walking in the woods and thought he was alone, when this figure stands up and walks away.

Controversial bigfoot researcher Todd Standing is back and has released a film entitled"Discovering Bigfoot". He has also filed a civil lawsuit against the British Columbia Ministry of Environment
and British Columbia Fish and Wildlife and hopes to prove the existence of bigfoot in court.

Today, I want to talk more about the film and particularly this still frame above and not really talk about the lawsuit.

This is a report that is very historic but is often overlooked or forgotten completely. This footprint was found by Pat Graves on Laird Meadow Road, near Bluff Creek, California in 1963. Pat was a Forest Service Timber Cruiser. Roger Patterson was informed about the track by Pat, himself.

Patterson would of course hurry to the area in hopes of seeing the foot tracks. He made it to the tracks, documented them and made castings.

The island of Malta in the Mediterranean has a long, violent and mysterious history. Under the island is a huge network of underground tunnels.  Many of which are yet to be explored. But since the 1940’s, children have been reported missing and echoing screams have been heard in the many chambers, though none of those children have ever been found.  But that’s not all that’s strange about these tunnels. 

During the Crusades, the island was guarded and protected from the many invasive outside forces by a highly-skilled, elite group of knights. The Ottoman Empire, attempting to gain control of the Mediterranean, wanted the island for themselves and tried to invade. But these skilled knights managed to fight off this force for many years even though they were outnumbered nearly 6 to 1. And, along with other forces in Europe, the empire was eventually defeated. But the knights remained there and were rumored to have been guarding many secrets inside the network of underground tunnels underneath this tiny island nation. These secrets may have included loot from the Ottomans and the Crusades, but the caverns have many more stories to tell.

Okay, so I'm looking over an event that was taking place fairly close to me. It seemed like it could be a cool event with lots of activities for the whole family. I had never heard of the people putting it on or of any reports from this general area. I'm all for these events that offer family fun and a chance to learn about bigfoot. Many of these events are also very good for our local communities. It brings people into our area and while they are here they spend money and learn about our towns.

As most people know small towns like the ones in my area have struggled financially over the last several years. In our area coal was/is our main industry. The war on coal really hurt many small towns like mine.

This is a bigfoot suit and used for reference only.

When we take in a sighting report, one in which the witness got a clear view of the creature, they normally describe it as being large and covered with hair. This is normally what the vast majority of witnesses report. But in cases where the witness got a good clear view of the creature's face is where we get some variations. I think this could be the source of some confusion and maybe even be the root to why some reports are dismissed completely.
