Unidentified Bones - Is It a Sea Serpent?

I was contacted by our good friend, Debbie Hatswell from BBR  Investigations, about an investigation she has been working on. It seems she was contacted by a gentleman who works with Remote Operated Vehicle equipment for the gas and oil industry. The gentleman had filmed some unidentified bones on the bottom of  the sea bed. Of course, being in this business he has seen many types of bones on the bottom of the sea, but these were something different for him.

Could these be the bones of an actually Sea Serpent?  Have a look at the video as Debbie describes how she got involved.

Urban Bigfoot Part Three: First Contact!
Does Bigfoot Live In My City?

By Dorraine Fisher

Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I’d be investigating bigfoot in the middle of the city. I knew they were smart, I knew they didn’t need wilderness in order to thrive, but I just didn’t think I’d find all this evidence of bigfoot in town. But life certainly has its twists and turns, I guess.
I decided I had enough proof gathered in this area that I should try to make contact with them. I had no idea how many there were. Maybe there was only one, although the footprints suggested there was possibly a whole small family. So I decided I would find a well-hidden place and leave some food to see if I could make contact.

Aliens Of The Deep?
By Dorraine Fisher

Our oceans cover around 71 percent of our planet. And only 5 percent of that has been explored by humans.TV shows like Ancient Aliens have long suggested that the aliens we refer to in paranormal circles may actually be hiding in our oceans. We may never know for sure, but we do know there are some alien creatures down there we may never fully understand in our lifetime.   And since we deal in aliens and alien creatures and alien belief systems and all things alien, it hasn’t eluded us that our oceans may hold a large number of aliens too. And every once in a while we find proof. And this one’s pretty creepy.

This strange story comes from New Zealand. It seems a woman found these small unknown creatures in her kitchen. The woman's son, Tim, shot a short video of the creatures in his mother's hand. One of the small creatures must still be alive as it is moving.

Tim wrote in a Facebook postMy mother found these on the kitchen floor this morning. One is still alive. Anyone know what they are? Nikki is horrified and will have nightmares for weeks!

I do not know where this comes from, who found it or the story behind it but allegedly it is a tooth from a bigfoot. At least that is what some people believe. It does appear rather large, maybe even too large to be from a bigfoot.

I do not know if any experts have looked or studied it. Just looking at it, it does appear to be rather old. But I wonder if we can match it up with a known animal?

Let's try.

Would Nikola Tesla Have Believed In Things Like Bigfoot?

By Dorraine Fisher

I often look at Bigfoot in a lofty way. And that’s because I think these creatures are here to teach us all something. And I also think we may be missing the lesson.

Nikola Tesla, the Serbian born inventor and engineer probably should have been called a scientist. He was greatly admired by Albert Einstein as one the “scientists” and great thinkers of his time. He single-handedly made modern technology possible by paving the way for the creation of our wireless devices. In fact, most of the technology we have now is very much due to his innovations that took place way back in the late 1800’s. And there’s certainly enough information about him to talk all day. But right now, I’m more interested in his ideas about the non-physical.

Healing Yourself By Discovering Your Past Lives
My Past Life Healing Story

By Dorraine Fisher

Have you ever been going about your day like normal when you suddenly saw something that affected you in some way? Like there was something you were supposed to remember about it, but you can’t quite put your finger on it? It could be anything, really. A person, a place, a thing, a recurring dream.  And there’s this intuitive side of you that knows it’s something significant, but that logical side of you might just say you’re just imagining things. But you aren’t. It’s your intuition trying to tell you something.

We all have some kind of emotional/mental issues. We all have things about ourselves we don’t understand, and sometimes can’t seem to overcome.  Many things can be explained by our childhood or previous traumatic events in our lives. But other things aren’t so cut and dry. Some things about us seem to have no reason or explanation...at least in this life. Because some things about us were brought about in a past life. And there are clues we may see every day in this life that are trying to tell us why.  But we have to listen in order to hear. And the best way to explain this is for me to use myself as an example of how this can work.

Is There A Greater Love Than Soul Mates?
Is The Twin Flame Revolution Real?

By Dorraine Fisher

You may have heard of it...or you may not have. Most of us, in the course of looking for a significant other, a soul mate is often considered the best achievement. Someone who understands us completely, can finish our sentences, and seems like a person we’ve known forever.

But is there something even better than that? There are some that would say absolutely yes, but they claim it can be so overwhelming that not everyone can endure it. But they also say it’s well-worth the effort, though not everyone will have the privilege.  Twin flame love: said to be the most intense, vibrant example of unconditional love between two people that can possibly exist. A bond that can’t be broken, not even in death, is also a lot of work.

King Arthur’s Camelot: Persistent Myth Or Real Historic Place?
An Independent Researcher Makes An Interesting Discovery

By Dorraine Fisher

Try Googling about finding the truth about King Arthur and Camelot, and you’ll find that most scientists and other so-called authorities on the subject determine the story to be a myth; the stuff of legend. But in recent history, we’re finding more and more that there is a lot of truth in legends. Especially if we adjust the way we think about history and don’t just simply take the word of the scientific community. A lot of independent researchers are now digging deeper into their favorite subjects with fresh minds. And they’re finding some interesting things. Things that should make us all question everything we’ve been taught.

The Nazca Lines Decoded???
A Lesser Known Researcher Makes A Startling Discovery

By Dorraine Fisher

I love to hear about instances where amateur or unknown researchers make amazing discoveries where science missed the mark. This is one such story.

In the high deserts of southern Peru, just 200 miles south of Lima, lies one of the driest places on earth. A place where it only rains about 20 minutes a year on average. And only if you travel by air to the region, can you see one of the greatest ancient mysteries on earth. Grayish rusty lines intersect in all directions across the barren landscape. Known only as The Nazca Lines, they’ve stumped scientists for the last eighty years, or since air travel over the region was humanly possible, as they can’t be seen to any degree from ground level.  Which has fueled theories of alien activity by ancient astronaut theorists. Most notably, researcher and author of Chariots of the Gods, Erich Von Daniken. Why would the lines only be visible from the air at a time when humans were incapable of air travel?

Are Scientists Acknowledging The Existence Of The Soul?

By Dorraine Fisher

After scoffing at the subject for many years, it seems that science is beginning to acknowledge the existence of the soul, however slowly.  But I talked about this subject way back in 2013, and at that time, I was convinced that science would absolutely HAVE to acknowledge the soul at some point, and here’s why.

If you’ve ever read anything about the works of the great scientist from the late 1800’s, Nikola Tesla, you will have read that everything in our world is all about energy. Energy is what drives everything. And learning as much as we can about energy is what will lead us to the truth about everything else. All the unanswered questions start with understanding how energy works. And this started me thinking about what drives us humans. What kind of energy drives us?

And what does this have to do with the soul?

The Great Pyramid And The Mind-Blowing Secret Of The King’s Chamber
What Is Cymatics?
By Dorraine Fisher

It’s becoming more than a little obvious that the pyramids of Egypt hold a lot more secrets than we ever imagined. And the story is getting stranger every day.

We’re only beginning to understand the importance of sound resonance; the effect it has on matter, and the effect it has on us. And, we’re only beginning to understand that the ancient civilizations had knowledge that has been lost to us for centuries. Like the powers to heal disease and injury, and to manipulate matter,  And now, though we’re only scratching the surface of this lost technology, it may very well be the key to every shred of knowledge humanity has lost. It’s just that huge. Understanding sound may very well be the long, lost missing piece of the puzzle of our unexplained existence on this planet. It affects matter and it affects water. It affects DNA.  And considering that we’re also made up water, matter, and DNA, what kind of an effect does sound have on us? The answer is, a very profound one. And examples of this are popping up everywhere.

NASA broadcast live today, announcing the discovery of 7 Earth-like planets orbiting a star called TRAPPIST-1.

NASA believes three of the planets are in the habitable zone, which means it potentially has liquid water on the surface and the planet is not too hot or too cold to sustain life.

This is very promising for the search for life outside our solar system,” said Michael Gillon, astronomer at the University of Liege in Belgium, during the press conference.

You can watch the conference below, it is about 50 minutes long and covers a lot of information.

Archaeologists Find Mermaid Skeletons? Well, not exactly. This story is a little bit old but I must have missed it, so I guess others did as well. But it appears it was a pretty hot item for a while.

First lets start with the story that circulates with the photographs. It go something like this:
"Ancient skeleton of a mermaid before the Flood 8 millenniums ago was found near Sozopol Beach by Professor Dimitrov."

The story caught fire after it was shared on facebook by journalist Petar Genchev. Some reports say the journalist's name was Peter Dale. The photographs and story instantly caught fire and spread quickly. It also caused a debate about mermaids being real and the new findings seemed to confirm it for many people. But were the story and the findings actually real? The short answer is no but there is more to the story. It appears this was not really an attempt to hoax, originally.

Tuesday, August 16, 2016

I ran across this story and thought I would share it and give some opinion about it.
The back story is is pretty simple and believable.

Some miners were looking for diamonds and found this mummified creature deep in the mine. Reportedly the unknown creature was found in a sandy layer that dates from the Mesozoic, which would date the creature between 252 and 66 million years.

The creature, as seen in the picture, is described as being small with big teeth. The thought is that the creature became naturally mummified or preserved due to being buried and the surrounding conditions.

According to the report scientist are now trying to find out exactly what this creature might be. Some have suggested that it could be some kind of dinosaur while others have speculated that it some kind of ferret. To me, it could possible be a mink or something from the weasel family. It appears to have a tail.

Of course, this could all very well be nothing more than a hoax but it looks pretty real to me. If I was guessing I would say that it is actually a known animal and that the scientist will be able to find out what it is....but we probably will never hear about it.

Thanks

By SedesGobhani
Okay, so most of us have heard of the Jackalope, right? One of the long standing "jokes" in the realms of the cryptid world. The fabled rabbit with antlers. It is an amazing sight that we can view thanks to some skilled taxidermy.
Like many unusual creatures and tales, there seems to always be some sliver of truth buried in these folkloric stories. The Jackalope is no different. As unreal as it seems, it has just a small dab of truth possibly sprinkled in the fabled creature story.

But first a brief history about the Jackalope.

The jackalope is a mythical animal of North American folklore described as a jackrabbit with antelope horns. The word "jackalope" is a portmanteau of "jackrabbit" and "antelope", although the jackrabbit is not a rabbit, and the American antelope is not an antelope. Also, many jackalope taxidermy mounts, including the original, are actually made with deer antlers.

In the 1930s, Douglas Herrick and his brother, hunters with taxidermy skills, popularized the American jackalope by grafting deer antlers onto a jackrabbit carcass and selling the combination to a local hotel in Douglas, Wyoming. Thereafter, they made and sold many similar jackalopes to a retail outlet in South Dakota, and another taxidermist continues to manufacture the horned rabbits in the 21st century. Stuffed and mounted, jackalopes are found in many bars and other places in the United States; stores catering to tourists sell jackalope postcards and other paraphernalia, and commercial entities in America and elsewhere have used the word "jackalope" or a jackalope logo as part of their marketing strategies. The jackalope has appeared in published stories, poems, television shows, video games, and a low-budget mockumentary film. The Wyoming Legislature has considered bills to make the jackalope the state's official mythological creature.

The underlying legend of the jackalope, upon which the Wyoming taxidermists were building, may be related to similar stories in other cultures and other historical times. Researchers suggest that at least some of the tales of horned hares were inspired by sightings of rabbits infected with the Shope papilloma virus. It causes horn- and antler-like tumors to grow in various places on a rabbit's head and body.

Shope papilloma virus is also known as cottontail rabbit papilloma virus (CRPV). Shope papilloma virus, is a type I virus under the Baltimore scheme, possessing a nonsegmented dsDNA genome. In the 1930s, hunters in northwestern Iowa reported that the rabbits they shot had several horn protrusions on many parts of their bodies including their faces and necks. This lead to the investigation and discovery of the virus in 1933 by Richard E. Shope when he was experimenting with cancer research. Shope separated the virus from horny warts on cottontail rabbits, and made one of the first mammaliam tumor virus discoveries. The virus is also a possible source of myths about the jackalope, a rabbit with the horns of an antelope, and related cryptids such as the wolpertinger. Bavarian folklore tells of the wolpertinger, also called wolperdinger, a mythological hybrid animal allegedly inhabiting the alpine forests of Bavaria in Germany. The wolpertinger is made up of several different animal parts, including antlers.

Shope determined the “horn” protrusions were keratinous carcinomas due to the infection of CRPV. These are typically found on or near the animal’s head, and can become large enough to interfere with the host’s ability to eat, causing starvation. The virus was originally discovered to affect only cottontail rabbits. in the Midwestern U.S., but can also infect brush rabbits, jackrabbits, snowshoe hares, and house rabbits.

Shope’s research has led to the development of an SPV model and the first mammalian model of a cancer caused by a virus. He was able to isolate virus particles from tumors on captured animals and use these to inoculate domestic rabbits, which then developed similar tumors. The animal model of the Shope Papilloma Virus (SPV) has contributed to our understanding of fundamental mechanisms in neoplasia, or the formation of a new, abnormal growth of tissue. The virus was sequenced in 1984, showing substantial sequence similarities to HPV1a. It has been used as a model for human papillomaviruses both before and after this discovery. The most visible example of this role is the HPV vaccine, which was developed based on and incorporating research done using the virus as a model. Similarly, it has been used to investigate antiviral therapies.

So, this is probably what started the jackalope stories way back in the day. It probably started with someone just catching good enough glimpse of a rabbit suffering from Shope Papilloma Virus, to start telling people "I saw a rabbit with antlers". You know, rabbits at notoriously fast and a fleeting view of one with antlers, would probably have gotten your attention. It probably would have got you laughed at pretty fast as well, while telling about it. But I suspect that others started getting a quick view of the running rabbit and the stories became more accepted.

Regardless, of the origin of the jackalope, the legend has many twist and turns. I guess that is what has helped it to continue to be in our current society and  to be a good source for humor.

The jackalope is subject to many outlandish and largely tongue-in-cheek claims embedded in tall tales about its habits. Jackalopes are said to be so dangerous that hunters are advised to wear stovepipes on their legs to keep from being gored. Stores in Douglas sell jackalope milk, but The New York Times questions its authenticity on grounds that milking a jackalope is known to be fraught with risk. One of the ways to catch a jackalope is to entice it with whiskey, the jackalope's beverage of choice.

The jackalope can imitate the human voice, according to legend. During the days of the Old West, when cowboys gathered by the campfires singing at night, jackalopes could be heard mimicking their voices or singing along, usually as a tenor. It is said that jackalopes, the rare Lepus antilocapra, only breed during lightning flashes and that their antlers make the act difficult despite the hare's reputation for fertility.

So, in the end the jackalope is much more than just a myth. It's part of our history, our entertainment, our culture and I'm guessing, our future.

What is it?
I've seen these pictures floating around on the internet and wanted to share some of the story and my thoughts about it. I do not know who first posted the story, but here is what I have read about it.

A group of firefighters reportedly found this almost human looking body in a river in the Republic of  Paraguay, which is in South America. Reportedly the over all length of the body of the corpse is around 3 feet long, give or take.

Most people were pretty quick to point out that the unknown creature has human looking hands with four fingers and a thumb on each hand. The feet are very similar to the hands. It was stated that the firefighters first thought they have found a dead person, but upon checking it more closely realized it was no human.

Some described the head as being frog like. According to the report, a doctor examined the creature briefly and could not identify it.  Many people speculated as to what the creature was. The speculation ranged from human, to alien, to Chupacabra, to an iguana that was swollen up by decay and water. It was also reported that the creature had a tail.

Now, while I have not touched or seen the creature live and in person, I think I know what it might be. I did a search of animal types in Paraguay because I thought it resembled a monkey. The search revealed that Paraguay only has one type of monkey, the Black Howler monkey. The body size of the Howler monkey is basically the same size as the unknown creature. The hands, feet and face are also very similar. So, it is my assertion that this unknown dead creature is just a Black Howler monkey that has decomposed and lots all it's hair.

What do you think? Mystery solved?

Thanks
~Tom~
