Supernatural Encounter After Storm?

I got the following report in a couple of weeks ago. The report was submitted anomalously with no contact information or even the person's name. You may be wondering why even share it but there are some elements in the report that are interesting and that have been reported in the past.

The event, best I can pin down, happened after what is known as a microburst event. A microburst is a localized column of sinking air, downdraft, within a thunderstorm. These events can cause extensive damage and  pose a threat to life and property.

Harlan Ford spoke of his encounter with the creature and spent much of his remaining years searching for it on numerous trips into the bayou. He never spoke of the film or showed it to anyone. Since he never released it, some feel that it was a possible joke that he had concocted and then never followed through. Ford's wife even stated in an interview, that the film was not made in 1963, but was filmed sometime in the late 1970s.

"It stands on two legs, runs on all fours." It even has its own Facebook page with over 2000 members.

There have been sightings of this creature for over a  hundred years. Descriptions of the being varies as much as the explanations. The triangle of Morgan, Etowah, and Jefferson Counties are the 'hotbed' for the reported encounters. Almost all of the reports state that it is 7 to 8 foot tall, covered in white hair and it's screams sound like a woman.

Some report a foul odor like dead animals when the White Thang is around. Some say it looks like a white lion. It's a tall white creature about 7 foot tall with a kangaroo like body and a cat head. An albino bear. A "hairless pale skinny nimble humanoid". It's a dog. A large ghost like creature that walks on all fours. An albino sasquatch or bigfoot or yeti. It is an apparition or ghost. And interdimensional being. An alien humanoid. Some report a red eyeshine.

The Salt Creek Monster

Four teenage boys planned on a fun campout on July 9, 1970. They never suspected that within hours of setting up camp, they would flee, frightened of a strange being checking them out.

Some say the story started in the spring and moved into May. Livestock was disappearing from the area, especially hogs. There were numerous disappearances reported from Salem area farms. Then in the last three weeks of May, 24 hogs were gone from the Farmer City, IL area. Three sheep were also found dead. Officials dismissed it as being caused by "wild dogs".

And then July 9th happened.

Okay, as stated in the title of the post this is a wild and crazy tale but we still wanted to share it. I was sent this report a few weeks ago and I'm finally getting around to posting it up. I will be upfront and say I have no idea if this report is true or not but wanted to let everyone read it and make up their own minds. Maybe someone else has had a similar event or was at the location where this happened. I also have a little follow up commentary after the report.

Beast of Seven Chutes

Today we look at the Beast of Seven Chutes. The photo was taken on June 1, 2005, in Quebec, Canada. Unknowingly the photographer captured an upright humanoid figure in the shot. Many think this could be a dogman and also believe the creature is carrying a small dog.
