Just a little over a week ago, I got a report from a witness about a possible Bigfoot sighting. The witness and I have been texting and messaging back and forth to get all the details.

The events and sighting took place in the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois. The SNF consists of approximately 280,000 acres of federally managed lands. The area is idea habitat for  bigfoot and a popular destination for tourist.

Describe sighting in detail: 

It had been 5yrs since I was in Shawnee national forest so I decided to go to a new area around Jackson falls. I got there sat about 6pm and found a good remote sight away from the trailhead camping area as there was a lot of partying and noise.
Sat & Sunday night nothing but a hungry coon raiding my trash bag (had to pic up mess) Then Monday there was no one but me in the whole area. I had heard some knocking Sunday night but thought it could be campers, even had some in daytime.

Monday, went to relieve myself away from  campsite and saw what could be a track so I  cleared it of some debris and got my phone to take picture. I heard some grunting Monday night but thought the coon was back. Then I heard what I thought was a whistle, thought could be remote camper.
Tuesday during day as I had went to other spots to see (burden falls, bell smith springs, even a closed winery, & lake Egypt). I got back to site and gathered fire wood for the night, this took some time, I started to feel uneasy, about 8:30 to 8:45. I had a sense and turned and saw this massive dark shape from behind some bushes, I saw it from mid chest up, no distanced details as the shadows were forming, then it turned and glided away. I ran to my truck and stayed there till about 1:20am or so, no air and peed in a water jug, sweating. the keys were in the tent.

There is more, as I filmed possible eye shine. I have never been that scared, I was a former Marine,there is no doubt it is real now and it should not be there, I finally saw lights and a van full of college age kids pull up to the camp across creek and the were scampering about looking for something with lights so I got out grabbed my gear and left immediately.
