Its not very often that we get Dogman sighting reports submitted to us, but we recently did get a report. The report was sent in to us by Violet and the sighting happened right here in Kentucky.
There are some interesting details in the story that lends to the idea that Dogman is a rather aggressive creature.

According to reports, Dogman has been spotted in 38 of 50 US states. It is often reported to have aggressive behavior but attacks are rare. According to Dogman researcher Vic Cundiff, "Less than 1% of the eyewitnesses who have shared their encounters with me claimed to have been attacked by the Dogman they encountered."

What follows is the message/report sent to me via Facebook Messenger and my replies.
Violet: "My ex currently lives in Estill county Kentucky and he informed me of a dogma type creature he had encountered one late evening/early morning. He doesn't go out late night anymore."

TM: When did the ex have his sighting?

Violet:  "About 2 weeks ago" (That would place it around Oct. 15th)

Violet continued, "I asked my 91 year old mom about any creature like this since she had grown up around that area. She proceeded to tell me of a story of how she and my dad were visiting his parents in Breathitt county Kentucky and my grandfather hadn't gotten home yet and it was late at night.

When my grandfather finally got home his hair had been ripped out of his head and he had several scratches all over and his clothes were ripped and he had told of this dogman creature. He had my parents stay the night because he felt it was too dangerous for them to leave.
This happened around 1946. Whatever it is this creature is still there."

Violet finished off the message with the following:

"I've been looking in to the unusual sightings due to my ex's encounter and what my mom had told me. Then I saw your site. All the property that was linked to the sightings is near Daniel Boone National Forest."

The Daniel Boone National Forest which was originally named the Cumberland National Forest, is a national forest in Kentucky. It was established in 1937, it includes 708,000 acres of federally owned land within a 2,100,000 acres proclamation bounty. The terrain of the forest is generally rugged, and includes multiple prominent water features. The Daniel Boone National Forest includes land across 21 Kentucky counties. While the forest has numerous campgrounds and attractions, there remains a large part of the forest that is not explored by man very often if at all.

A big thanks to Violet for sharing the story/report with us. If you have seen a Dogman then please file the report with us. You can use the link found here or contact us via email or social media.

Thanks
