Badlands Bigfoot - North Dakota Sighting
In February, 2004, sasquatch made an appearance in Mountrail County, North Dakota. His trek cross country both excited and frightened many people.
The story begins on a Sunday, February 22. Several of the children from the trailer park were outside playing in the middle of the afternoon when they noticed a large, hairy being. It was standing on two legs, watching them play. They became frightened and ran, screaming towards the trailers.
The mother of two of the children came running out of her trailer when she heard the screaming. She watched the figure walking quickly away from the area. "I don't know how big it was, but it just pushed through those trees like you're going through bushes and it was moving fast," she stated.

Understanding Cryptozoology
Bernard Heuvelmans founded the International Society of Cryptozoology (ISC) in 1982. As a philosopher of science, he never questioned whether Cryptozoology was properly a ParaScience or a pseudoscience.
Heuvelmans was a Belgian/French scientist, explorer, researcher and writer. He was born in Le Havre in northwestern France in 1916 and was raised in Belgium. He earned a doctorate in Zoology from the Free University of Brussels at the age of 23. Heuvelmans had been interested in zoological oddities for some time but he credits a 1948 Saturday Evening Post article by Ivan T. Sanderson with inspiring him to become deeply determined to explore more fully his interest in unknown animals. He wrote a book "On the track of Unidentified Animals" in 1955, published in two volumes. It has been translated into over 20 languages. Heuvelmans wrote many other books and articles, only a few of which have been translated into English. His works sold well among general audiences but saw little attention from mainstream scientists and experts.

Early Morning Bigfoot Trip
The weather has been very nice for this time of year, but on this particular morning, it was rather cold. No snow, and no high winds, so it was a good time to make another trip out to the mountains.
I started out my day by getting into the woods very early. I wanted to head out to my gifting spot, check it out, and explore the area. I normally don't get much action this time of year and my theory on this is that the trees are bare, in winter, so the bigfoot pull back deeper in the woods. I do still get tracks and sometimes a few tree breaks or structures.

The Diego and Devore Show - Thomas Marcum
I taped this show with The Diego and Devore Show back in January. It was a good time and I'm thankful for the opportunity to be on the show. I'm glad I can share it with everyone.
I hope you will give it a listen.

I was just checking out some various YouTube videos when I ran across a recently posted video of what is claimed to be a bigfoot.
From what I can gather the people who captured the video live, kind of, off the grid in northern Michigan. This man's wife had heard some odd sounds coming from the woods and started filming.
On review of the video you can see a dark hairy looking figure hiding behind a tree. The figure moves from side to side as the camera is moving from left to right.
Now of course this could be nothing more that a hoax or prank but you take a look at the video and see what you think.
Here is the video

This is actually a case from 2005 according to what I have read. It took place in Taos county, New Mexico while a husband and wife were on a vacation trip. Here is an overview of the story.
A couple are getting up in the morning hours and preparing to head back home from a trip. The man's wife had got up first and said that someone was standing outside the entry door to their travel trailer. As the man gets his pistol his wife take three pictures of the figure standing outside the door.
Here is a short video of the rest of the story and the picture of the figure.

Assessing The Woo And What We DON’T See Out There
By Dorraine Fisher
We all believe in instincts, right?
Those of us who spend a lot of time outside in nature learn to follow our gut instincts. I believe it’s honestly a healthy thing to go out often and get away from “civilization” and commune with nature. It’s the only thing that’s real in this world and it’s actually a training ground for your human instincts. If you go out there into the quiet and really connect with it, something primal inside you kicks in. And if you’re sensitive or empathic, you start to really understand that what you feel out there matters just as much as the things you perceive with your other senses. After all, primitive humans would have died out without these sensory abilities. But in the case of bigfoot research, feelings, gut instincts, and intuition seem to be hallmarks of the total picture of doing bigfoot research. At least for some highly sensitive researchers. The feelings and sensations in bigfoot research can be a huge deal.

There is apparently a new video from Washington State that some think could be a bigfoot. Supposedly, the bigfoot is seen on the wildlife overcrossing on I-90 just east of Snoqualmie Pass. We can see the figure walk away from the camera and towards the crest of the hill.
Could it be a Bigfoot? Some think it is, while other have doubts.
Lets take a look at the video and then I will offer some more information and opinion.

I was out filming for season 2 of Almost Live: The Hunt for Bigfoot when I found three distinctive juvenile bigfoot tracks. I selected the best track of the three and make a plaster casing of it. It held more treasures than I knew at first.
Below are a series of pictures documenting the track casing.

I did not stay out long this day and didn't have all my normal gear with me. I was dressed well enough for my journey but a deeper trek into the forest was not about to happen.

Is Bigfoot Lurking in British Columbia, Canada?
In August of 2019, CTV News reported that a Canadian writer named John Zada had received tons of information about Sasquatch sightings in British Columbia, Canada, and the Pacific Northwest in general. American Cryptid hunters who want to cross national borders in their quest for proof may want to head for Canada's glorious West Coast. It's a great tourist destination, anyway, whether you travel with some other Cryptid-obsessed folk or with your own family...hey, maybe your family is into searching for Cryptids, too. If you decide to travel to British Columbia (also known as B.C.), you may want to start the hunt for Bigfoot at the Great Bear Rainforest.

The following video is very mysterious...and possibly a little unnerving if you really look at it. It comes from the Youtube channel called Sonny Vator. They claim the video was shot near Banff National Park near the North Saskatchewan River Valley in Canada by a man named David Beaver.
But this is all the information we have.
Sonny Vator said he first noticed an animal carcass hanging in the tree which was strange enough, but then he saw the outline of a large, dark, very hairy figure between the trees. He believes this to be a large bigfoot holding a young bigfoot in its arms.
But we want to know what you think.
Check out the footage and tell us what you see.

If you’ve ever gone out into the woods at night, as many cryptid and paranormal investigators do, you know there are normal night sounds and you can often tell if there’s a sound in the dark that just doesn’t fit with what you normally hear out there. I’ve heard some really weird stuff at night myself. And I’ve seen night footage of some creepy things over the years that people caught on camera, and I’ve had some strange encounters of my own, but I’ve never been lucky enough to capture any footage to prove it.

A new Bigfoot picture hoax is burning up social media. This one was taken by one of those road monitoring cameras. It has a nice little story that goes along with the picture. The story is as follows.
"REAL BIGFOOT SIGHTING HERE IN Oregon. State Police received a frantic phone call about a Bigfoot sighting near the Hood River exit a few weeks ago.
The caller described the thing as “dwarfing the guard rail” and “too big to be a bear” not to mention it was walking upright.
The dispatcher immediately checked the ODOT camera and saw this image."
Sadly it appears to be a total fabrication. Below is a picture from the same ODOT camera and it clearly shows the mysterious "Bigfoot" standing in the same spot. Here is the picture

Did we as a society create the flat-earth theory? Maybe.
I can see it now. People reading this headline and instantly thinking that Dorraine Fisher and The Crypto Crew advocate for the Flat Earth Theory. But although we believe in the possibilities of many things as purveyors of cryptozoology and the paranormal, we are not purveyors of Flat-Earth Theory. But it’s a topic worth exploring, and I’ll tell you why. Flat Earth Theory is a catalyst for a conversation that needs to take place that really has nothing to do with the earth being flat. Or maybe it does. I guess you can decide. But this is just a world of ideas and we’re all caught up in the storm of them all.

This next report comes from Crypto Crew team members Bobby and Corinna Long. The report comes from their home state of Oregon. Once you read the report, there is probably only one creature that could have been doing this, and it sure was not squirrels.
Here is the report.

Many bigfoot researchers claim there is a season in which bigfoot activity occurs in their research areas and other times of the year when they find little to no evidence of activity at all. But these claims seem to be inconsistent. And the inconsistency often seems to depend on where the researcher’s area is located. So, do bigfoot migrate or not? Those researchers known to the community as habituators, or those who claim bigfoot lives near or around their homes continuously, will tell you they definitely don’t migrate. They observe activity all year long on their properties and sometimes make the claim they interact with them personally with no large time lapses in between encounters. So the answer to this question may be a resounding yes...and no, depending on the researcher you ask.

This is an exciting post for me. I recent met author and filmmaker Nic Brown at the Harlan Haunt Fest. I was able to take in part of his lecture on the Wendigo. His lecture was very informative and intriguing. Unfortunately, I was not able to stay for the whole presentation as I had my own table and people were coming by to see and speak to me, which was great. So, I had to cut out early of his lecture.
As the Haunt Fest event was winding down, I made my way over the Nic's table and introduced myself and we had an enjoyable talk. And today I'm very pleased to share a nice interview I did with Nic. I think you will enjoy this one, here is our interview.

Of all the cryptids believed to exist on the planet, you might be surprised by which one I find to be the least likely to exist. At least by the definition of this cryptid that people think they’ve seen. And this is the fabled chupacabra or goat sucker believed to be responsible for brutal, bloody livestock attacks and mutilations. But I’ll tell you why I feel this way.
In many cases of supposed sightings, witnesses see or photograph a creature that is hairless, gray or black, and doesn’t look to them like any known animal. But disease and deformity can cause any creature to appear different than it normally would.
