Bigfoot Track Found
It is ginseng season and I normally get out a lot during this time. While out I get into areas I normally don't go. Any time I'm in the mountains I'm always looking for bigfoot evidence of any kind.
On this particular day, I was in an area that I knew had some bigfoot activity in the past. In this area I had found numerous stick formations and a handful of tracks. The area was logged a couple of years ago and I just didn't know if the bigfoot was still in the area. I got my answer.
Marble Mountain Footage
My last post listed 10 videos/photos that someone considered the best evidence, the most convincing of sasquatch sightings. Today I'm taking a closer look at the number two listing: Jim Mills' video, or the Marble Mountain Footage.
This video has the reputation of being the longest-known video of a sasquatch. Some of the background of this video is a little muddy, but I have tried to piece together as much of the history and the "players" as possible. First of all, this was filmed in July of 2000 and was reported to the BFRO a year later, on August 1, 2001, by a friend of the person who filmed it. And they managed to tell only part of the story in the initial report. However investigators from the BFRO managed to track down Jim Mills and get a more complete and accurate telling of the events. The video was eventually shared on YouTube on July 6, 2011. These different dates have caused some confusion among researchers.
Squamish, BC - Sasquatch By Myles Lamont
"What we saw was not wearing any gear and no snowshoes and covering ground very quickly."
This possible sasquatch sighting outside of Squamish, British Columbia was featured on "Paranormal Caught on Camera" February 13, 2019. The video was captured in July, 2011 while Myles Lamont and a friend were hiking on Tricouni Peak and had stopped to rest and eat some lunch when they spotted the movement down below.
It was a bipedal "all-dark figure" that was making a rapid pace over the glacier. There appeared to be no visible rope, ice ax, back pack, show shoes, or any other sort of equipment.
New York Baby Bigfoot Footage
"You see a few people in the foreground. They are talking around a campfire. And it's behind them that you see a large figure walking behind a tent, and something hops off its shoulder and starts climbing up into the tree like an ape." - Cliff Barackman.
This footage opened Season Two of Finding Bigfoot. And to this day, people who have viewed this film still disagree on just what we were watching. The video was filmed May 23, 1997, at Lembo Lake Park in New York State by Doug Pridgen. The group was camped in an apple grove near a small lake. They were surrounded by farmland. It was dusk with a clear sky.

Josh Highcliff Footage
On October 28, 2013, Josh Highcliff went out to hunt hogs as usual. What he experienced was anything but usual.
Highcliff was out hunting hogs in the swamp in an area 9 miles west of Tunica, Mississippi. He was wearing camo and arrived at his area well before the hogs would be coming through. He remained sitting still in position, waiting for it to get dark. The area he chose was not far from the road but was near to where the hogs would come past.
While sitting there, back against a tree, he heard some noises behind him. He assumed that the hogs were approaching him and turned around. He did not see hogs.
Harley Hoffman Bigfoot
In 2001, an event took place in British Columbia. However, the video-taped encounter was not released to the public until April 8, 2006. At first it was claimed to be some of the best footage of a bigfoot since the Patterson Film.
It's a mostly forgotten video now. So what went wrong?

"Hey Bigfoot" -- Boy Films Bigfoot In His Backyard
On October 16, 2010, a young boy filmed a bigfoot in his backyard. For awhile there it was one of the most watched and believed in videos out there. Not many talk about it today.
It's not particularly well filmed. The camera jogs around, loses the target here and there. And there is blur. But it seems to be genuine. It seems to be believable. It's some very interesting footage. So why isn't it presented as good proof? Why doesn't it appear on those "famous" the top [insert any number] bigfoot videos? Well, that can only be answered by those who make those lists, I guess.
Anyhow, I was reminded of the footage by Leo the other day while we were talking sasquatch, bigfoot, and cryptids in general. So I went looking for it. The original YouTube account had been terminated and their video no longer available through that account. Luckily, others who really liked this video have preserved it for our continued viewing pleasure. But first the story [slim as it is] behind the video.
The Tatra Mountains sightings
The Tatra Mountains run along the border between Poland and Slovakia, forming a natural border. It is the highest mountain range in the Carpathians but should not become confused with the Low Tatras which are located south of the Mountains in Slovakia. Also called Tatras or Tatra, they cover an area of 303 square miles. This provides a lot of territory for the creature they call yeti. We would call them sasquatch or bigfoot. Let's take a look at two encounter reports that come from the Tatra Mountains.
The first report comes from Piotr Kowalski. The 27 year old was apparently hiking in the Tatra and had started filming a mountain goat when he was distracted by a large upright figure among the rocks. The hairy figure came out from behind some rocks, walking on two legs.
Creature in the Giant Sequoias - Shawn Bannon
Shawn Bannon's bigfoot footage: "Creature in the Giant Sequoias" : is another film that continues to generate talk. There are those who cry hoax and those who say it could be real. The sides are about evenly divided.
This piece of film is said to have been originally posted in 2006. After gaining around 2 million views, it was apparently removed from the internet. It was reposted on June 17, 2013 by Bannon on both YouTube and Vimeo channels.
Kyle Goodrunning and the Traveling Photo
This story begins with the alleged encounter with a bigfoot by a 10 year old Native boy.
In October of 2014, Kyle Goodrunning and his sister [in some accounts] and a cousin [or another cousin when the sister is omitted] decided to go for a walk in the woods. While on this walk, Kyle is said to have looked up and noticed a bigfoot crouching in the brush and trees. He whips out his iPad and takes three photos and then runs. When he looks back while running, the bigfoot is no longer in sight.
Kyle was later interviewed by Kevin Noad and the video shared to his YouTube channel. Well, take a look at the video before I say anything more.
