Is Bigfoot Lurking in British Columbia, Canada?
In August of 2019, CTV News reported that a Canadian writer named John Zada had received tons of information about Sasquatch sightings in British Columbia, Canada, and the Pacific Northwest in general. American Cryptid hunters who want to cross national borders in their quest for proof may want to head for Canada's glorious West Coast. It's a great tourist destination, anyway, whether you travel with some other Cryptid-obsessed folk or with your own family...hey, maybe your family is into searching for Cryptids, too. If you decide to travel to British Columbia (also known as B.C.), you may want to start the hunt for Bigfoot at the Great Bear Rainforest.
What is the Great Bear Rainforest?
This temperate Rainforest is situated on British Columbia's Pacific coast and it's 6.4 hectares in size. That is roughly the same size as Ireland. You'll find Great Bear Rainforest at Kitimat-Stikine C (Part 2) in B.C. While the writer mentioned earlier was researching this particular Rainforest, he found plenty of people who told stories about Bigfoot sightings in the area and surrounding areas.
The creatures spotted were described as looking like a mixture of apes and men. These beings were covered in hair and had thick muscles. People spotted the creatures while they were hunting or fishing. Some people said that the creatures would make their way into nearby villages and pound on building walls, or make loud noises, or throw stones. There were reports that fishermen were attacked by them, so explore the Great Bear Rainforest with caution.
How to stay safe as you search
The Rainforest is a lush ecosystem, which is a truly beautiful place, but you'll need to prepare for more than Sasquatch attacks when you visit. Plan carefully to ensure that your search for Cryptids is a safe one. If you're bringing your family along, such as a spouse and kids, their safety should be priority one before you venture into the wild. One tip to make the most of your family trip is to book an all-inclusive resort, such as a lodge or wellness retreat, where your family will be safe and happy while you're searching for Sasquatch sightings. Parts of the Rainforest are only accessible by boat, so some visitors choose to stay on tugboats that have all of the amenities. These boats are comfortable forms of accommodation, and practical, too. Everyone should have camping-style clothing and survival gear on hand if they're going to be exploring the Rainforest.
Enter the Rainforest from Bella Coola, B.C.
Most people who search for Cryptids in Great Bear Rainforest utilize Bella Coola, B.C. as a starting point. It is the primary gateway. Some people prefer to access the rainforest by sailing up the coast of British Columbia. If you choose Bella Coola, you may want to sign up for one of the adventure tours offered in the area. It'll be a safer way to explore. Bella Coola is a valley which is a perfect place to fish, spot wildlife, such as bald eagles and bears, and generally commune with nature.
Some people are skeptical about the existence of Cryptids, but there are plenty of true believers who have had gotten close to Bigfoot in and around Great Bear Rainforest. This creature's spirit practically envelopes the fresh air in the region. When you visit, you'll love the possibilities.
