Schrodinger's cat

So what does quantum physics have to do with sasquatch? In the case of this thought experiment, perhaps quite a bit.

First a little info for those who aren't familiar with quantum physics, or who has never watched that Big Bang Theory episode. [Or a later one where Penny is explaining it to one of her "dimmer" dates].

The Austrian physicist Erwin Schrodinger devised a hypothesis as follows : A cat is put in a box along with a vial containing cyanide along with a mechanism designed to open that vial at some time in the unknown future. The actual time this will happen cannot be calculated. At some point in time the cyanide gas will be released and the cat will die.

Before anyone gets upset, this was presented as a HYPOTHESIS -- a THOUGHT experiment. It was never actually done. A "what if" exercise.

Sasquatch Population in the Appalachians – 1600 A.D. to 2021 A.D.

I am Guy Luneau, the 58 year old (here in August 2021) retired chemical engineer from Arkansas who met Thomas Marcum for my first time ever and went into the Bell and Harlan County, Kentucky foothill forests with him on May 18-20, 2021 to search for Sasquatch evidence.  In May and June, Thomas posted the two stories I wrote, and they can be found on this website.  I was stunned to have witnessed the fifty-plus Sasquatch footprints in the mud that we found from at least 6 individual Bigfoots in two locations in just 2 days of poking around in the woods, as well as Bigfoot stick structures and sapling snap-offs that we witnessed.  Sasquatch sign was present in an astonishing abundance – much more than I had ever thought possible when I had asked him to take me on this two-day field trip.  It set my brain to work in ways that I never foresaw putting my brain to work.  Eye-opening.  Riveting.  Tapping into things that I had not seen coming my way.

Subliminal Messages In Advertising - Do They Work? And Are They Being Used?

By Dorraine Fisher

Way back in 1957 in New Jersey, an ad-exec told the world that he had convinced movie-goers to buy more popcorn and Coca-Cola by flashing subliminal messages on the big screen during the movies. The story was that he had exposed 45,000 movie-goers to words like “Eat popcorn!” and “Drink Coca-Cola” which he claimed had increased concession sales a whopping 57 percent.

Later, the supposed study was found to be a hoax. But it didn’t matter, The idea that people could be swayed by suggestive flashing words on a screen became etched in the collective psyche. Many people now believed it. But the big question is: just because this study was later said to be a hoax, does that mean that subliminal messaging is just a conspiracy theory? And the answer is a resounding “NO!”

Researcher Proves a Theory Made Popular On Ancient Aliens

By Dorraine Fisher

So many theories have been made popular by the History Channel TV series, Ancient Aliens. The show has made a significant percentage of the population believe, or at least seriously imagine that aliens have been visiting earth since the beginning of time and have influenced humanity in a major way, especially in building huge structures all over the world that humans, to this day, aren’t capable of constructing.  And an independent archaeological researcher and Youtuber may be playing a part in proving this theory that is the basic foundation for these ancient astronaut theories.

Are We Being Unfair To Flat-Earthers?
Taking A Closer Look At How We Perceive The “Truth”

By Dorraine Fisher

Did we as a society create the flat-earth theory? Maybe.

I can see it now. People reading this headline and instantly thinking that Dorraine Fisher and The Crypto Crew advocate for the Flat Earth Theory. But although we believe in the possibilities of many things as purveyors of cryptozoology and the paranormal, we are not purveyors of Flat-Earth Theory. But it’s a topic worth exploring, and I’ll tell you why. Flat Earth Theory is a catalyst for a conversation that needs to take place that really has nothing to do with the earth being flat. Or maybe it does. I guess you can decide. But this is just a world of ideas and we’re all caught up in the storm of them all.

Chemtrails, seems we are hearing more about them nowadays. Today, I saw a couple of well respected people on my Facebook friends list debating about chemtrails. Debating on what they are and what they are not.

Over the last 10 years there seems to be a growing number of people who are joining the chemtrails conspiracy team. But are there any truth or a smoking gun to for sure say it is real?
Should we be concerned about chemtrails?

Let's dig deeper.

Okay, so I'm looking over an event that was taking place fairly close to me. It seemed like it could be a cool event with lots of activities for the whole family. I had never heard of the people putting it on or of any reports from this general area. I'm all for these events that offer family fun and a chance to learn about bigfoot. Many of these events are also very good for our local communities. It brings people into our area and while they are here they spend money and learn about our towns.

As most people know small towns like the ones in my area have struggled financially over the last several years. In our area coal was/is our main industry. The war on coal really hurt many small towns like mine.

Are Scientists Acknowledging The Existence Of The Soul?

By Dorraine Fisher

After scoffing at the subject for many years, it seems that science is beginning to acknowledge the existence of the soul, however slowly.  But I talked about this subject way back in 2013, and at that time, I was convinced that science would absolutely HAVE to acknowledge the soul at some point, and here’s why.

If you’ve ever read anything about the works of the great scientist from the late 1800’s, Nikola Tesla, you will have read that everything in our world is all about energy. Energy is what drives everything. And learning as much as we can about energy is what will lead us to the truth about everything else. All the unanswered questions start with understanding how energy works. And this started me thinking about what drives us humans. What kind of energy drives us?

And what does this have to do with the soul?

Was Our Moon Artificially Created By Intelligent Life?
Some Reasons To Wonder

By Dorraine Fisher

With all the hoopla about the solar eclipse this year, I started looking around for information on this and found more than I expected. Information about the moon, that is.

As humans born onto this planet, we have a tendency to believe that what’s here right now is what’s always been here.  But that’s only an assumption on our part. And the history of our moon may be proof that we need to stop making assumptions like that altogether.

Have YOU ever thought much about the moon? Most people don’t. It’s just always there. The moon does so much for us. It creates the tidal effects that creates the tidal rhythm of our oceans, which makes life as we know it possible on this planet. And yet we totally take it for granted. But an interesting question is is it really just a product of nature? There are reasons to wonder.

"Bigfoot? Nope not seen him today."
A little while back I was reading about sea otters. I found the information rather interesting, as I didn't know much about these critters. But I guess at this point you are probably wondering how I connect this to bigfoot, right?

Well, I'm not really connecting them to bigfoot but there is an interesting feature sea otter's have that may or may not apply to bigfoot. This feature, or something similar, could answer a question we sometimes get about bigfoot.

A Conspiracy Of Modern Music???
Are We Tuning Our Musical Instruments To A Harmful Frequency?
By Dorraine Fisher

Musicians, being the artists that they are, have varying opinions on everything. But if you ask them how to tune their instruments, they’ll all tell you the same thing:  to tune the note middle A to a frequency of 440 hz, which has been the international standard since around 1939. Few very rarely question this. And I have wondered why. Who made this rule? And why are the musicians of the world; the rebels, the artists, the supposed nonconformists so stuck on it?

Well it seems the answer to this question may revolve around what some call the most ridiculous conspiracy theory ever. But I’m not so sure it’s that crazy, and I’ll tell you why. But the theory is that the new standard of 440 hz was set by Joseph Goebbels, propaganda leader of the Third Reich in Germany during the Nazi era. This is believed by conspiracy theorists to have been all part of a nefarious plan to distort the emotional and physical well-being of the masses. Now, before you start laughing, consider these things.

My Crypto World - Bigfoot The Lost Tribe Theory

It's time for another episode of My Crypto World. In My Crypto World, I give updates about my work, and current projects, and offer my opinion on various topics. It is basically an open forum for me to talk about various things, and an attempt to connect with my followers.

In this episode, I give a short update on some of the things I have been doing and then I talk about two theories about the origins of bigfoot. The main focus of this episode is "The lost tribe theory".
Some of you may have never heard it before but it is one of the many theories that attempts to explain where bigfoot came from.

Here is the episode.

Is It Time To Scrap Darwinism?
A Controversial Question Of Humankind
By Dorraine Fisher

There are strange things going on in the human story. Anyone who’s following new anthropological data that’s being reported around the world has to admit that the story is getting stranger and stranger the more scientists keep digging. And there are some that believe this is shooting a lot of holes in Darwin’s theory of evolution. The math and the fossil records just don’t seem to support the theory.
To preface this, evolution is not fact. That’s why they call it a theory. Just because an idea is widely supported and largely believed to be substantiated by science still doesn’t make it a fact.

Will Bigfoot Cause A Paradigm Shift?
Extra Large Footprints To A More Enlightened World
By Dorraine Fisher

It’s possible I romanticize Bigfoot way too much. Maybe I read way too much into them. But the reason I do that is because I think they’re a huge deal...in changing the way people think and in the course of human evolution and the way we view our world.

And yes, this sounds pretty cheesy, but I’ll tell you why I think this way.

I think we humans are on our way toward an enormous shift in the way we think and perceive everything around us. I think our minds are evolving in many ways. And examining all things metaphysical and paranormal is a big part of that shift. It’s about believing in possibilities. Imagining that things we can’t actually see or put our hands on still may exist. That the definition of something being real is a little different than we thought.

I think those who believe in the paranormal or metaphysical have had some kind of experience in that sense, are much further ahead in this evolution. They’re either well able to imagine there is a whole world of existence beyond what they can see and touch, or they don’t have to imagine it because they’ve actually experienced it. But either way, their minds are open, and that’s what it takes to advance to the next level.

Last night, I started to work on an article countering a skeptic’s reasons why bigfoot probably doesn’t exist. And, as I was trying to formulate my arguments and articulate them well, it suddenly occurred to me that it simply didn’t matter. Whatever I said would either be met with agreement or opposition. And this depends on the personal paradigms of the reader. It didn’t matter what I said or how I said it. People will either believe or they won’t. My words won’t change this. And here’s why.

People have ALWAYS already made up their minds...from the beginning of humanity. And neuroscience says that one of the biggest flaws in the human mind is, if we think we already know something, we won’t look at any other information about it. We’ll just stop right there and not move any further forward. And that’s where our evolution stops too. We want to believe we’re right. We need to believe it. And we’ll actively look ONLY for evidence that supports what we already believe. And we’ll dismiss all other ideas.

We see this all the time in politics and religion and even in science. People will say another’s religious beliefs are wrong because they’re different, or they’ll only watch news stations that tell the news in a way that supports what they already believe about the world. Or they’ll reject new ideas simply because the scientific community denies there’s enough evidence to support them. So many minds are closed in this very way.

I think people are often afraid to change their minds. Afraid to go rogue and think for themselves. Afraid to stray away from authorities they believe have all the answers. Afraid to imagine it all might be different than they’ve always believed. I guess it’s like admitting they were wrong before. And wrong is somehow the worst thing we can be, we think. So people will stick to their current construct, even if it’s outdated or there’s simply no evidence left to support it. But it’s simply too much trouble to change the values we’ve always had and built our lives around, or to rewrite every chapter in the book. Even if we really should.

So, that’s why I say that people who aspire to or believe in things paranormal or metaphysical or just plain elusive have a distinct advantage. Maybe they’ve always been open to new things, or better yet, maybe they’ve been made to believe something different than they did before through an experience. So the pathway has been opened in their minds. And that pathway is a much bigger deal than we often realize.

But this is how we all should aspire to be.

Because as long as we have this attitude that we already know the “big truth,” and there’s nothing new we can learn, we’ve already failed as a species. How can we really call ourselves intelligent if we can’t wrap our minds around the idea that our own ideas about a lot of things may be flat-out wrong? How can we truly evolve as an intelligent being if we can’t challenge the very thoughts that are sitting in our heads holding us down right this minute?

This is called being stuck. And in order to move forward and become the humans we were all meant to be, we have to get unstuck.

But can we do that?

Some of us can. Some of us who’ve already accepted the strange, the unknown, and the not-quite-physical as part of their personal reality.

Alien Nuclear Blast On Earth???
The Mystery of The Tunguska Explosion

By Dorraine Fisher

Over a hundred years after the fact, this story is still making headlines and the mystery has never really been solved to the satisfaction of everyone.

Early one morning, on June 30th, 1908, in the Tunguska River Valley, Siberia, Russia, there was an explosion with such force that it registered on seismic barometers thousands of miles away in England. Eyewitnesses claim to have seen a blue streak rush across the sky just before the impact that was felt by residents hundreds of miles from the site and was reported to have an astounding equivalence to 185 Hiroshima bombs.

Just 40 miles from ground zero, a man sitting on his porch was thrown from his chair. And he claimed the heat from the blast was so intense, he felt like his shirt was on fire. This was his account:

"Suddenly in the north sky… the sky was split in two, and high above the forest the whole northern part of the sky appeared covered with fire… At that moment there was a bang in the sky and a mighty crash… The crash was followed by a noise like stones falling from the sky, or of guns firing. The earth trembled."

It was nearly twenty years later and after one failed attempt to investigate that scientists finally made it to the site. They arrived in the area expecting to find a huge crater and debris from a meteor or comet. But what they found instead has stirred controversy with Ufologists ever since, after a theory developed after World War II that the details of the devastation and aftermath were nearly identical to that of nuclear blasts on Hiroshima. This gave root to the idea that the only thing that could have caused the blast all those years earlier was the crash of a nuclear -powered alien craft. And since, there were secret investigations by Russians where no details were divulged, the debate has been raging ever since. Just what did these investigators find? Check out the video and tell us what you think.

73 degrees of Bigfoot (Patty)
21 degrees between Bigfoot and You - Maybe Not

First, let me say this is in no way an attempt to debunk the Patterson-Gimlin film of Patty. Instead, it is yet another attempt by me to clear up a misconception about the shin rise angle of Bigfoot when compared to humans. I made a very simple video about this idea several months ago. (Watch Video By clicking Here ) The video was not well received or maybe just not understood. But, it was just a very quick attempt to show the problems of using the shin raise method to authenticate Bigfoot videos and pictures. So now, I'll try again.

The theory was made popular by a very popular video posted on youtube. It was posted by a guy who calls himself ThinkerThunker. He has a large following and has very good editing skills. The theory, in a nutshell, goes like this: The shin raise of a human walking is at a 52-degree angle and Patty in the Patterson-Gimlin film has a shin raise of 73 degrees, thus resulting in a 21-degree angle difference between the human gait and Bigfoot gait.

This theory has been taken to heart by a very large number of people who have an interest in Bigfoot. They use this theory to determine if a Bigfoot video or photo could possibly be that of a real Bigfoot. And while the theory and the video explaining it sounds very feasible, there are some problems with it. First, the theory fails to make comparisons with people in suits or wearing oversized shoes.

I will offer the following picture as an example that this theory can not and should not be used as a reliable method in determining if a video or picture is that of a real Bigfoot.

Clearly, this is a man in a popular Bigfoot suit, but yet his shin raise appears to be 73 degrees. So either the Shin Raise theory is moot or this is a real Bigfoot. I'm sure no one considers the Bigfoot on the left to be real.

Bigfoot may very well walk with a shin rise of 73 degrees. But with the above photo, it should be clear that the angle can be reproduced rather easily.  In the above photo comparison, the person in the Bigfoot suit achieves the 73-degree angle due to the fact the feet of the suit are larger than the person's real feet. It causes the leg to be lifted higher thus resulting in the target angle.

I hope you got something out of this post.
Have a great day.

Thanks
~Tom~

Why We’re Naked and Why Mermaids Could Possibly Exist

Exploring The Rejected “Aquatic Ape Theory”

By TCC Team Member Dorraine Fisher

Even though the Discovery Channel’s recent special about mermaids was a dramatization, the theory behind it, the aquatic ape hypothesis (AAH),  is sound and credible whether science wants to believe it or not. It presents a pretty sensible solution to the question of why humans are the only naked ape. But to this day, it’s still rejected by scientists in the mainstream.

First introduced by marine biologist Alister Hardy in 1960, the aquatic ape hypothesis was brought to the attention of the public by a probing press, but it was first explained in better detail  by Welsh writer Elaine Morgan. I first became familiar with her work years ago when I read her best-selling book, The Descent Of Woman that had first been published back in 1970.
Aquatic theory, in a nutshell, attempts to explain why we humans evolved differently in many key ways from other apes. Why are we the only naked ape? Why are we the only apes that cry? Why do we have webbed fingers? Why do we take to the water so well unlike other apes, and why are our offspring born knowing how to swim? Why does our heart rate slow when we dive into the water unlike other apes? Why are we more streamlined than other apes? And why do we retain more body fat than they do?
Morgan, who wasn’t a paleontologist or anthropologist, but an articulate writer who had written for many scientific journals and knew her subject well, explained it all to the public in layman’s terms, causing many people to embrace the hypothesis. Many except the scientific community that has, over 40 years later, not given a satisfactory explanation of why they reject it so strongly.

AAH gives a more pertinent viewpoint about everything that’s different about humans.
Morgan explained that in some very early history of the evolutionary story, humans entered the water at some point for the purpose of survival. There are many reasons this could have happened. Food sources there would have been easy to acquire and plentiful. Many of the most dangerous predators in Africa didn’t necessarily like the water, so it would have been a safe haven for our ancestors at that time who were much smaller, easier targets. Especially the females who may have been on their own part of the time, often carrying an infant, making them twice as vulnerable to danger. Interestingly, human babies are born knowing how to “swim” in a way. And they automatically hold their breath in the water. Why is this? No other primate babies have that skill.

Why are we the only naked ape? AAH says that most animals that have become aquatic at some point have lost most of their hair. Whales, manatees, and hippos to name a few. Scientists recently discovered an ancestor of the rhinoceros that was believed to have spent most of its time in the water, explaining its hair loss. And many believe the same thing happened to elephants, who are to this day, excellent swimmers and love the water.
Why do we have webbed toes and fingers? If you look at a chimps hands, you’ll find no trace of any such webbing. And the interesting thing about this phenomena is that in looking at modern water retrievers, you’ll notice they have webbed toes. And this is something that has developed within a very short time in history; perhaps a couple hundred years. So our human ancestors wouldn’t necessarily have had to remain aquatic for very long in order for these kinds of changes to take place.
Why do we retain body fat in a way no other apes on earth do? Maybe it’s because other animals that have become aquatic and lost their hair, have at the same time, developed a layer of subcutaneous fat for warmth and the protection of vital organs and tissue. Manatees, whales, hippos and others all evolved more body fat to adapt to life in the water.
And why do we seem to be so streamlined and designed for the water. We need only to watch Olympic divers to see how well humans have adapted to life in the water. No other ape has that streamlined, almost fish-shaped body so well suited to moving through the water with ease. And our heart rate actually slows when we dive into the water? Why is that? Perhaps to conserve the much needed oxygen while we’re holding our breath underwater. This wouldn’t be necessary had we not been spending a lot of time in the water at some time in history.

And the list goes on. All our quirkiest traits can be explained by this hypothesis.
So if we choose to aspire to the theory, is it much of a stretch to think that mermaids of a sort could exist? Perhaps not the type we recognize from familiar folklore, but something different than we may imagine. Maybe small groups of these aquatic apes returned to land after a time, and maybe other groups simply stayed in the water and developed more fine-tuned adaptations in order to remain there. Like hands with better webbing, stronger lungs, transformation of legs to a tail fin, etc. If we think of it this way, it’s not completely beyond the realm of possibility.
We know from chasing Bigfoot around the forests, that just because we’ve never actually seen a creature, doesn’t necessarily mean it doesn’t exist. And this idea is no different. *********

What is bigfoot? That is a question that has been ask for a long time now and many theories have been put forth. I want to explore some of the more popular theories and offer some of the more unusual ones as well. Please continue and I hope you enjoy the reading.

Theories -
Primate Theory -
The primate theory is the belief that bigfoot/sasquatch is just a yet undiscovered or unknown primate that belongs to the ape family. Bigfoot has been described in reports as a large hairy ape-like creature. Many point to fossil records and claim that bigfoot is related to Gigantopithecus blacki which was a species of the largest apes that ever lived, standing up to almost 10 foot tall. Many researchers and bigfooters are behind this theory and think bigfoot is some type of ape creature.

Evolutionary Theory -
This can also be called the "missing link" theory. Some think that bigfoot is the missing link in the evolutionary chain. That bigfoot is in a transitional form, a step just below or in between human and ape. I have seen, heard and read this info from many researchers and it is one of the more popular theories.

Neanderthal Theory -
This theory promotes the idea that bigfoot is a small race of Neanderthal man that has managed to survive all these years. That they have the intelligences to live and hide as they are smarter than other creatures living in the forest. This makes me wonder if it really is a group of Neanderthals then why have they not discovered fire yet? One could assume that if they are already using fire it would be almost impossible for them to stay hid. To me this theory has some holes in it.

Lost Tribe Theory -
The lost tribe theory is a theory that a small tribe of Indians kept hide for years from everyone, totally undiscovered. As time continued they were forced to resort to inbreeding, which led to a mutation that produced a hairy beast that is now known as bigfoot. That this lost tribe is still around today, inbreeding and making more sasquatch. To me this theory has some holes., for one if bigfoot was a lost Indian tribe then they should still have the tools that Indians have used in many years past. They should still be using bows, arrows, tomahawks and more, but yet there is no reports of any of these tools found in or around past sighting. So to me this theory is not answer to the question at hand.

Other Theories that seem kind of far fetched to most people.

Cain Theory -
That bigfoot is the Cain talked about in the bible. This theory comes from the Mormon church. According to the theory, "the mark" God placed on Cain is his fearsome appearance, which serves the dual purpose of making people afraid of him, and thereby rendering him safe from being killed.

Inter dimensional Theory -
This theory, which is supported by many, states the bigfoot is able to travel in and out of other dimensions at will. They point to the fact that bigfoot seems to disappear and is hard to find and record.

Alien Theory -
This theory leans towards bigfoot being either an alien itself or being placed here by aliens to live and possible report on human behavior. There has been reports of UFOs and bigfoot sighting in the same areas and at roughly the same times.

So I hope you have found this information interesting. I'm sure if you search around you can find many more theories concerning bigfoot.

Now if I could put forth my personal thoughts on what bigfoot really is or could be. I'm no expert by any means and I don't claim to be.

I'm in the group of the Creationist, who think that all things were created by a creator (God), but with that said I also believe in evolution of  species, Meaning that things evolve but they do not evolve into another species. For example lets take a rat, over time it may evolve in some ways to adapt to its environment or living conditions. It may grow a shorter or longer tail, bigger or smaller ears, change color or something like that but it will never evolve into a Pony.
So I tend to lean towards bigfoot being a undocumented primate of some sort.

Recently some DNA claims have been made that bigfoot has 100 percent human DNA. This is not surprising to me. For many years now it has been known that Humans and chimpanzees are Nearly 99 percent alike in genetic makeup, so if bigfoot DNA has been tested and it comes back close to human DNA it should not be a big surprise. My best guess would be that considering what we already know about Chimp and Human DNA, that bigfoot DNA is very close to Human DNA, say maybe 99.9 percent. This does not prove a "missing link" theory as we already know about established DNA results of Humans and Chimps. If the results in Humans and Chimps are true, I assume they are, then it only shows what a difference 1 percent can make.

Regardless of which theory you support we should all be able to agree that bigfoot is worthy of more research and study.

Thanks
Tom
