Is The Truth About Mars Being Hidden From Us?
Edge Of Wonder Interviews Investigator Billy Carson

By Dorraine Fisher

What’s really going on on Mars. Trillions of dollars have been spent recently on the exploration of Mars and a million photos have been taken of its surface. And there have been some strange anomalies captured in many of those photos.

Anomaly hunter and investigator Billy Carson, founder of 4biddenknowledge.Inc., author of The Compendium of the Emerald Tablets, and host of the original Gaia series, Ancient Civilizations,  has meticulously analyzed hundreds of these photos and can be considered the closest thing we have to an expert on the subject of Mars anomalies.

Was Our Moon Artificially Created By Intelligent Life?
Some Reasons To Wonder

By Dorraine Fisher

With all the hoopla about the solar eclipse this year, I started looking around for information on this and found more than I expected. Information about the moon, that is.

As humans born onto this planet, we have a tendency to believe that what’s here right now is what’s always been here.  But that’s only an assumption on our part. And the history of our moon may be proof that we need to stop making assumptions like that altogether.

Have YOU ever thought much about the moon? Most people don’t. It’s just always there. The moon does so much for us. It creates the tidal effects that creates the tidal rhythm of our oceans, which makes life as we know it possible on this planet. And yet we totally take it for granted. But an interesting question is is it really just a product of nature? There are reasons to wonder.

NASA broadcast live today, announcing the discovery of 7 Earth-like planets orbiting a star called TRAPPIST-1.

NASA believes three of the planets are in the habitable zone, which means it potentially has liquid water on the surface and the planet is not too hot or too cold to sustain life.

This is very promising for the search for life outside our solar system,” said Michael Gillon, astronomer at the University of Liege in Belgium, during the press conference.

You can watch the conference below, it is about 50 minutes long and covers a lot of information.

New NASA SpaceCraft
NASA to test new craft

This post by Thomas Marcum, Thomas is the founder/leader of the cryptozoology and paranormal research organization known as The Crypto Crew. Over 20 years experience with research and investigation of unexplained activity, working with video and websites. A trained wild land firefighter and a published photographer, and poet.

NASA's New Saucer Shaped Spacecraft

Look up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane .....nope it's NASA's new saucer shape space craft.
NASA will be testing this new saucer shaped craft on Tuesday (6/3/14). This new spacecraft is reportedly going to be used for landing payload on Mars, That is assuming it passes all these upcoming test flights.

Here is more about this saucer shape craft directly from the NASA website.

NASA’s saucer-shaped experimental flight vehicle, the Low Density Supersonic Decelerator, or LDSD, is prepared for a Range Compatibility Test at the US Navy’s Pacific Missile Range Facility in Kaua‘i, Hawaii.
What will it take to land heavier spacecraft on Mars? How will engineers slow large payloads traveling at supersonic speeds in a thin Martian atmosphere? Can this be done?

NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility is playing an integral role in potentially answering those questions with the Low Density Supersonic Decelerator mission, or LDSD.

To conduct advanced exploration missions in the future and safely land heavier spacecraft on Mars, NASA must advance the technology of decelerating large payloads traveling at supersonic speeds in thin atmospheres to a new level of performance. The current technology for decelerating payloads dates back to NASA’s Viking Program, which placed two landers on Mars in 1976. That same technology is still being used and most recently delivered the Curiosity rover to Mars in 2012.
Future robotic missions to Mars and even future human exploration will require more massive payloads than previously sent to the surface of the Red Planet. To accomplish these goals, NASA is developing new systems to deliver this important cargo to the surface of Mars.

NASA scientists and engineers borrowed a technique used by the ‘o’opu hue, also known as the Hawaiian pufferfish. The technique? Rapid inflation. For the pufferfish, it is simply a defense mechanism. For NASA, it is potentially the element that links to the future of space exploration.

Set for a test launch in early June from the Pacific Missile Range Facility in Hawaii, LDSD will use a 20-foot diameter, solid rocket-powered balloon-like vessel called a Supersonic Inflatable Aerodynamic Decelerator (SIAD) to test these capabilities.

To duplicate many of the most important aspects of Mars’ thin atmosphere, NASA plans to use the very thin air found high in Earth’s stratosphere as a test bed for the LDSD mission.
To reach the desired altitude of 120,000 feet, the LDSD project will use a helium-filled scientific balloon provided by NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility and Columbia Scientific Balloon Facility. When fully deployed, the balloon itself is over 34 million cubic feet. At that size alone, one could fit a professional football stadium inside it. The material that makes the balloon, a very thin film called polyethylene that is similar thickness to that of sandwich wrap, will lift the massive test article to 120,000 feet.

At that altitude, the test article will be detached from the balloon and a solid rocket motor will be employed to boost the test article on a trajectory to reach supersonic speeds (Mach 4) needed to test the SIAD.

Once at supersonic speeds, the deployment and function of the inflatable decelerators will be tested to slow the test article to a speed where it becomes safe to deploy a supersonic parachute. The balloon and test article will all be recovered from the ocean.

Two recovery vessels, Kahana and Konua, will recover the test article and balloon respectively. Before the articles can be recovered, a G-2 and a C-26 aircraft will focus on determining positioning of the articles for recovery. Wallops, with extensive experience vehicle recovery, will oversee the recovery operations for the LDSD mission.

In addition to the balloon operations and oversight of recovery, Wallops is the range services coordinator, has provided the core electronics for the test article and electrical ground support equipment.

NASA has identified six potential launch dates for the balloon carrying LDSD: June 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 14. The June 3 launch window extends from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. HST, or 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. EDT. The test can be viewed live on NASA TV beginning at 7:45 a.m. HST (1:45 p.m. EDT) or on the web at: http://www.nasa.gov/ntv

This could lead to some exciting times again for NASA and our space exploration.

Thanks
~Tom~

Move to Mars!

So, have you ever thought about moving to Mars or what it would be like to visit the Red Planet in Person? Well Good News! Apparently you're not alone.
According to Mars One, In the last two weeks there has been over 78,000 people who have filled out an application to move to Mars for ever and never return.

Mars one is a Dutch company, that just recently started accepting applications to move to Mars.
The applicants are helping fund the mission via a small fee based on where the applicant lives. For example someone living in the United States has to be a fee of $38.

Not only that but there will be a reality show where people can vote for who will be moving to Mars forever. I know some people I hope are on the show.
In any case, the last stage of the process will come down to 24-40 people and the viewing audience will get to follow them as they receive their training and as the show goes on the audience will get to vote on who will be the first settlers on Mars.

The show is planned to be a long running, global reality show that will continue to help fund the missions to Mars. There is a plan in place that will bring more settlers and supplies over the coming years. The goal is to have at least 20 settlers by the year 2033.
The first departure to Mars is planed for 2022, it will take about 7 months to land on the red planet, which according to the deployment date, will make it sometime in 2023.

The colony as it is expected to look in 2015 - with four astronauts arriving every two years on the one-way mission

Bas Lansdorp, Co-founder of Mars one, said "With 78,000 applications in two weeks, this is turning out to be the most desired job in history, These numbers put us right on track for our goal of half a million applicants."

Norbert Kraft, former NASA researcher and current medical director at Mars One said "
Gone are the days when bravery and the number of hours flying a supersonic jet were the top criteria for selection. Now, we are more concerned with how well each astronaut works and lives with the others – and for a lifetime of challenges ahead"

I seen a few of the applicants and it appears this endeavor is drawing both men and women into this once in a lifetime chance to live on Mars. View some of the applicants by Clicking Here!

If you would like to find out how to become a applicant to live on Mars and never come back to earth again, then by all means go to the link below
Live on Mars!

On the website there is a lot of info, gifts to purchase, a link to Donate, list of the Team and much more.

Do you think they can do it? Would you want to live on Mars forever? Would you watch the reality TV show?

Thanks
~Tom

Is NASA Photoshopping Mars Images?

By TCC Team Member Dorraine Fisher

Mars - Victim of photoshop?

In my regular daily web surfing trip, I ran across this video that clearly shows that NASA has been Photoshopping their composite images of Mars. But why would they do that? Is it to hide something, or do they have a very good reason? The creator of the video claims they’re using what’s called a cloning tool. There might be a reasonable explanation, but if they don’t explain themselves, we’re left to wonder why?

Image above shows the craggy mountainside where Curiosity, Nasa’s planetary explorer, hopes to discover signs that life once existed on Mars. The six-wheeled rover, which landed earlier this month, will edge its way to the foot of the mountain, 6.2 miles away, to scratch around in the dirt, dust and soil. Chemical analysis of those samples should reveal whether Mars ever had the organic materials that could support life and may help answer one of the greatest questions of science: is life unique to Earth or did it once exist elsewhere in the Solar System?
I mostly posted this because I like the photo and how it really don't look much different than some places here n Earth.

Will India be next on Mars?
But his political opponents say India should be focused on humanitarian needs like clean water and electricity rather than the $82 million mission, the AP reports. India's Space Research Organization says the mission needs to happen during a "window of opportunity," such as late next year, when Mars is closest to earth; the next such opening won't be til 2016.

Carnegie Institution investigator Dr Erik Hauri and his team recently analyzed the water content of two meteorites originating from inside the Red Planet. They found out that the water content in the Martian mantle is similar to that of Earth's.

The also stated that with this new information it is possible that Mars once sustained life on it.

TCC - This is not my video but I find it very interesting and it is a known fact that NASA has manipulated photos in the past. Here is what the poster of the video said and links to the photos used in the video.

Uploaded by on Sep 14, 2008
**UPDATED LINKS (3/12/11)
I'm in no way stating that these images are proof positive of "Skulls, Artifacts, Water, Plants or life".
I do find them extremely interesting and compelling.

The fact remains that any good scientist never ceases to ask questions and for anyone to simply dismiss these images out of hand, speaks volumes as to their character or agenda.

Please feel free to have an intelligent debate. Any childish remarks or people who think they are some-kind of pathetic comedian, will just be deleted.

**COMMENT RULE NOTICE**:
Unfounded, one line accusations, as in "Fake", "Photoshopped" or the like, will no longer be tolerated. I fastidiously spent days directly linking the official NASA source to each corresponding image, which can be found below. If you have proof to the contrary, you are, of course, welcome to post it.

Mars
The idea is that living systems are more complicated than purely physical ones, a concept that can be represented mathematically.
Further, NASA doesn’t need a human expedition to Mars to nail down the claim, neuropharmacologist and biologist Joseph Miller, with the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, told Discovery News.
“The ultimate proof is to take a video of a Martian bacteria. They should send a microscope -- watch the bacteria move,” Miller said.
“On the basis of what we’ve done so far, I’d say I’m 99 percent sure there’s life there,” he added.
Researchers crunched raw data collected during runs of the Labeled Release experiment, which looked for signs of microbial metabolism in soil samples scooped up and processed by the two Viking landers.
