The weather has been very nice for this time of year, but on this particular morning, it was rather cold. No snow, and no high winds, so it was a good time to make another trip out to the mountains.
I started out my day by getting into the woods very early. I wanted to head out to my gifting spot, check it out, and explore the area. I normally don't get much action this time of year and my theory on this is that the trees are bare, in winter, so the bigfoot pull back deeper in the woods. I do still get tracks and sometimes a few tree breaks or structures.
I normally don't share a lot of information about my gifting attempts but today I want to share just a little. I've been trying to gift items for a long time now...at least it feels like a long time. Over this time I have of course had many food items go missing and I don't really know what took the items as I stopped running game cameras in the area. But some interesting things have happened. I had non-food items go missing and then show back up months later. Some items still have not been returned. So I hope to continue my efforts and build up some kind of trust and hope I can get a good clear visual. Time will tell I guess.
Overall, even though it was very cold, I had a fun day in the mountains. Here is a short video of my outing.
