Almas | A Body and Other Evidence | Part 5

In 1980, a Mongolian government employee came across a dead body while working in Bulgan.
At first, he thought it was a human body. But when he got a closer look, he knew differently.

"I approached and saw the hairy corpse of a robust humanlike creature dried and half-buried by sand. I had never seen such a humanlike being before covered by camel-color brownish-yellow short hairs and I recoiled, although, in my native land in Sinkiang, I had seen many dead men killed in battle . . .  The dead thing was not a bear or ape and at the same time, it was not a man like Mongol or Kazakh or Chinese and Russian. The hairs on its head were longer than on its body. The skin was darkened and shriveled like the hide of a dead camel".

Go Out Into The Woods And See For Yourself, You Armchair Troll!
(Or some other variation -- guaranteed to burn my butt!!!)

Why is it almost every time a person questions or states a disbelief on "evidence" posted, there's always someone else who jumps in with the "Go out into the woods" rebuttal.

Go out into the woods.

Said with a blind eye to someone they do not even know.

Don't assume the questioning party does not do either field work, or has never been out in the woods. It makes you look a fool. It doesn't assist the discussion. It slams shut doors that should be kept open in a possible exchange of information and learning.

Woodwose: Was This Ancient Wildman Really Bigfoot?
By Dorraine Fisher

Wildman tales go back as far as the human story. But they seemed to explode onto the scene during the Middle Ages, making their appearances in artwork, wood carvings on furniture, and in architecture details of a creature known as the Woodwose or Wuduwasa in Anglo-Saxon Culture.  Why is this?

There is a lot of evidence to suggest that some kind of large, hairy creatures lived in the forests of Europe during those times and that they were acknowledged enough by people that they were deemed real enough in society to depict them everywhere. All this suggests that the woodwose was a creature that was widely known at that time and also widely accepted. But what were they?
