Healing Yourself By Discovering Your Past Lives
My Past Life Healing Story

By Dorraine Fisher

Have you ever been going about your day like normal when you suddenly saw something that affected you in some way? Like there was something you were supposed to remember about it, but you can’t quite put your finger on it? It could be anything, really. A person, a place, a thing, a recurring dream.  And there’s this intuitive side of you that knows it’s something significant, but that logical side of you might just say you’re just imagining things. But you aren’t. It’s your intuition trying to tell you something.

We all have some kind of emotional/mental issues. We all have things about ourselves we don’t understand, and sometimes can’t seem to overcome.  Many things can be explained by our childhood or previous traumatic events in our lives. But other things aren’t so cut and dry. Some things about us seem to have no reason or explanation...at least in this life. Because some things about us were brought about in a past life. And there are clues we may see every day in this life that are trying to tell us why.  But we have to listen in order to hear. And the best way to explain this is for me to use myself as an example of how this can work.

I’ve had numerous past life experiences. And I’ve performed several past life regressions on myself in order to solve the mysteries of my emotional issues in this life. And I’ve shared those experiences on our website. But recently, I’ve had a new one. And I’ve had to explore yet another past life.  And I’ll use this to explain why this is important for you and your well-being, and that anyone can explore their past lives and use the information to heal themselves in this life.

I have always wondered why I have never had any desire to have children. And when I took the time to think about it, deep down, I always felt it was a dangerous thing to be pregnant. It makes a woman vulnerable and helpless. That’s what I thought. But why would I think that? I suddenly needed to know why. But there’s a little back story.

Years ago, in a regular weekly trek to another town on business, I kept going through the same small township every time on an old county road. The name of the town was Exeter. Each time I passed through this little village, I stared at the name Exeter on the sign, and something about that name seemed strangely familiar, and not in the best way. I sensed there was something not so good connected to the name, but I was never sure what. And I would carry this around with me for years before the issue would come up again.

Recently a good friend and I were talking about having children and why I had never wanted to have them. And it made me curious. And later, I got to thinking,  since I hadn’t done a past life regression on myself in a long time, I thought I might try it again. At least to see if I could still do it.

So, using the method I had used in the past, I regressed myself into a hypnotic state while holding the question in my mind, “Why have I been afraid to have children?”  And I drifted off and found myself in a small city in the time of the Middle Ages. The name of the town was Exeter. But this Exeter was in England. Though I didn’t get a clearly detailed story of what was happening. I became consciously aware of why I didn’t want to have children in this life.

In that life, I was a midwife of great skill. Probably with some healing abilities. And when a young woman was trying to give birth and having trouble with labor and risked dying and risked her child dying, I took a chance and used a special herb to treat her. She gave birth successfully and recovered nicely and it was considered nothing short of a miracle. But the herb I had used was associated with local witchcraft practices. And witchcraft was believed to be a big “problem” in England in those times. And Exeter was a huge hub of witch hangings.  There was actually a witchfinder general assigned to the territory to weed out the supposed criminals.

So, my medical miracle I had performed in that life on the young woman became subject to suspicion, and I was arrested for witchcraft. And I sensed that I was convicted and hanged for the supposed crime as hundreds of women had been in a hundred year span at that time. But the most interesting detail of the story was that I was pregnant myself at the time of my execution. That would make a woman think that being pregnant was a dangerous thing, wouldn’t it? Since I was hanged with no regard for my condition and no mercy for my unborn child.  Therefore my question about my fear of having children in this life was answered. Something I had not understood about myself in this life was answered by an event that took place in that previous life.

Now, keep in mind, I didn’t know anything about Exeter, England before this regression. I only read up about it afterward and I found the pieces fit. It also explained other things about myself, like my sympathy for outcasts and unconventional people, my almost militant sense of justice and fairness and finding the truth, and, strangely, my extreme discomfort and inability to wear necklaces, scarves, turtlenecks, or anything else around my neck. Since I was hanged in that life. All those issues were finally resolved in my mind.

And let’s keep in mind that even if this is just a dream or some idea that I’ve conjured in my mind like some will believe, it doesn’t matter. All I really needed was a reason and an explanation why I feel the way I do.  And that’s all anyone needs. Once you have a tangible reason for the issue you have, it can finally heal.

And you too, can discover your past lives. And if you have an emotional or mental issue in this life that you can’t seem to resolve any other way, you can find its origin. And even if you’re just curious about a persistent recurring dream you’re having about an event, or you’re simply curious about one of your long-held unexplained personality traits like I was, you can access your past lives and find the answers you’re looking for.

One safe way to do this is to see a past life regression therapist and do it in a controlled environment with a person who can guide you through the process. I would recommend this method to anyone who might be fearful of the process or that they might uncover something scary.  But if you’re brave as well as curious, you can attempt to do it yourself. For me, it was much easier than I expected. Self-hypnosis is easier than you think. All that’s required is quiet time and concentration. And you may finally resolve a long-held emotional issue or discover answers to your deepest questions about yourself.

So, are you brave enough to try it? Here is a link to a similar method to the one I used.

Of course, there are many other methods and it’s a matter of finding the one that works well for you. Many can be found on Google and Youtube.  But remember you have an intuitive sense of knowing and the right method for you will resonate. And don’t forget to tell us your story.
