Almost Live | Final Game Cam Retrieval | S1E10

Season 1 of Almost Live had a 10th episode that was, until now, only available on Amazon and maybe a couple of other places. But now I have made it available for everyone to watch. It was the final episode of the season and where I first revealed the upcoming season 2.

The season finale! It's the final trip of the year to retrieve the last of the game cameras. It is a lovely fall day and the animals are moving about. Once again something has attacked two of the game cameras, will the video show exactly what it was this time. Plus the first news of a possible season 2.

Here is the episode

The Eastern Newt

Animal Facts -  Animals are fascinating. In this series, we hope to share facts about numerous animals that inhabit our planet. Learning more about known animals and their behavior, it can help us when we are exploring unknown and undiscovered creatures.

Episode 2 is about the Eastern Newt - What an amazing creature. The Eastern Newt has 3 interesting stages of life that are very much different from each other. And on some occasions, stage 2 is skipped altogether.

Here is the short video - give it a watch.

Reports that John "Trapper" Tice of  Mountain Monsters fame and Co-founder and leader of A.I.M.S has passed away due to complications  kidney failure.

Tice was born in 1947 in West Virginia He was a true American outdoorsman and Vietnam war veteran.

Tice had started havign some health issues back in 2015 when he had to undergo an emergency surgery for a blood clot in his leg. It is our understanding that this and other health issues lead to kidney problems.

Tice of course was known for his role in the popular TV show Mountain Monsters. His show was somewhat of a rival to the popular series Finding Bigfoot. There was an online feud of sorts between Tice and Finding Bigfoot show leader Matt Moneymaker.

The Hunt for Bigfoot

In 2017 I released season one of Almost Live and it did okay. It was never intended to be an Amazon series but at the suggestion of a friend, I put it on Amazon. To my surprise, it performed fairly well considering it was just something I did quickly. Season one contained 10 total episodes that focused on Bigfoot research and digging ginseng.

So, I decided that I would film season two and put more effort into filming and editing. I used some different and better cameras while filming. For season two, I also wanted to focus more on Bigfoot research. Season two is filled with some very compelling Bigfoot evidence.

For those who may not know what Almost Live is all about here is a brief summary:

Almost Live follows author, bigfoot researcher, survivalist, and adventurer Thomas Marcum as he hunts for Bigfoot in the deep woods of Kentucky. Thomas explores several Bigfoot hotspots during the season to uncover various Bigfoot evidence. Along the way, he tells viewers about nature and offers tips for the outdoors.

On July the 18th I was out filming for season 2 of  my video series, Almost Live. While I don't want to give too much of it away I can share with you the fact that I found a very nice juvenile Bigfoot track. If you are unfamiliar with my Almost Live series it is kind of like "Survivor man" but with more focus on nature, Bigfoot, adventure and wild life. The original season one series was really only meant for Youtube, but a friend who liked the show suggested I load it to Amazon Prime and I did.

The places I research are very remote, and I can't "Go Live!" like many people can do. The places I'm in, there is no cell phone signal. So, I film and do very little editing and put out the show under the title "Almost Live". Season 2 is going to have much more production value than Season 1, as it was not intended to go to streaming services.  But for now, let me tell you a little more about this track.

Kronos Rising: Diablo
A Review By Dorraine Fisher

Max Hawthorne, the author of the famous Kronos Rising series has done it again with his latest book, Kronos Rising: Diablo. A carefully-crafted fiction about the Diablo Caldera, a volcanic island off the coast of Cuba encasing a giant salt-water lake that has long been the secret home of some terrifying monsters of the deep since the Cretaceous Period. But their imprisonment in this secluded lake is about to come to an end, and a nightmare is about to be unleashed into the open ocean.

This time around, in this intended prologue to the series, Max spins another harrowing, action-packed monster tale, painstakingly researched, and rich in scenic and historic detail, while delivering the same true-to-form, page-turning intensity as always. And all this in this comparatively short novella.

If you’re not familiar with the Kronos Rising series, this is a great book to introduce yourself. And if you’re already a fan, this book will fill some gaps in the story line you may have been looking for. Either way, it’s certain to not disappoint. It’ll keep you pinned to your seat and wanting more.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars

The Crypto Files - Bigfoot! (Ep35)

It's been a little while since our last episode of The Crypto Files. It was due to a very busy schedule and numerous projects. In this episode, we take a quick look at everyone's all-time favorite cryptid BIGFOOT!

Of course, you know we could have made the episode really long and included many reports and points of view, but we kept it short and present a general overview of Bigfoot.

Here is the episode.

Ninja of the Woods - Haunted Objects

In this episode of Ninja of the Woods, Big Jim starts a 3 part series on haunted objects. It is a common theory that spirits can and do attach to material objects. There are numerous reports of people purchasing an item and after getting it home strange things start to happen.

Big Jim tells about some of these reports in this 3 part series. Some you may be familiar with and not even know it.

Here is the first episode in the three-part series.

Ninja Of The Woods - Bigfoot Shot - Episode 1

One of our newest team members, Jimmy Blanton, has started a new podcast entitled "Ninja of the Woods". This is the first episode of the show. There are some audio hiccups but it's not too bad. This is more of a pilot or test run for the show, but we wanted to put it out and hopefully get people more interested.

This episode features a very popular story/report but it is only talked about briefly. There is much more to the story. Big Jim also talks about a video reportedly from Massachusetts.

Here is the episode.

The Crypto Files - Beast of Busco (Ep30)

During our research and production of The Crypto Files series, we have discovered many details about lesser know cryptids. There seem to be a lot of cryptids that will never reach the mega status of say Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster. But each one is special and important in its own right. Local legends and sightings serve as great talking points for many towns across America. In some cases, these local cryptids have become tourist attractions and bring in revenue to small towns.

In Episode 30 we explore one such cryptid. We hope you enjoy this episode and learn something new.

The Crypto Files - Andean Wolf  (Ep24)

In the Andes mountains, there have long been rumors and sightings of what is called the Andean or Hagenbeck's Wolf. It is said to be rather larger than the known Maned wolf. There is some physical evidence to support the existence of this creature.

My Crypto World - Bigfoot & Wildfires!

The Crypto Files - Altamaha-ha (Ep22)

The Altamaha-ha is a river/sea monster type of creature that is said to inhabit the Altamaha River. The Altamaha River stretches 137 miles through Georgia until it finally spills into the Atlantic Ocean near Brunswick, Georgia. It is the third largest amount of freshwater dumped into the Atlantic Ocean from the United States.

Sights of the Altamaha-ha date back to the early 1700s and sightings, though rare, have continued until our present times.

The Altamaha-ha is also known by the shorter name "Altie".

The Crypto Files - Almas (Ep21)

In episode 21 of The Crypto Files, we take a look at Almas. The Almas or Alma, Mongolian for "wild man" is much like the Yeti or our American Bigfoot. There is a long history of sightings and tales about Almas. Everything from written sightings to tales of the capture of an Almas. Even though the creature is not currently recognized or cataloged by science, there is a lot of interest in the subject.

Speculation that Almases may be real and not just a legendary creature is based on eyewitness accounts, footprint finds, and long-standing native traditions.

Here is the episode, hope you enjoy it.

The Crypto Files - The Adjule (Ep17)

In this episode of The Crypto Files, we take a quick look at a little less famous cryptid, the Adjule.
If you play video games, the Adjule might be familiar to you and you don't even know it. Some reports of the Adjule date back to around 1925.

I hope this episode introduces you to a cryptid that you didn't know much about or maybe a cryptid that you have never heard of before.

Also, in the episode we change a couple of things up. The main change is in the narrator. I know most folks don't care for my voice and I thought it would be fun to get some of our other team members involved. Hopefully, we can have another team member narrate a future episode.  I think the changes make the series a little more fun.

Here is episode 17 of The Crypto Files.

It's finally here! episode 10 of Around the Campfire with Dorraine Fisher! In this episode Dorraine asks some good questions and makes some good points concerning humans and where we really come from. I'm sure some of the 6 reasons Dorraine talks about, are ones you have never even thought of before. You might want to get a pencil and take some notes, this is a good one.

We hope you enjoy this episode.
