Big Legend
Running Time: 89 mins
Amazon Link - Click Here

Big Legend has a notable cast that includes Todd A. Robinson, Kevin Makely, and two home run hitters in Lance Henriksen and Adrienne Barbeau. So, right off the film has name recognition.

The story line is pretty straight forward, an ex-soldier ventures into the Pacific Northwest with his girlfriend for a relaxing romantic retreat. Then things go horribly wrong when his girlfriend is taken by an unseen creature. The ex soldier returns to the forest to uncover the truth behind his fiance's disappearance.

Movie Review: The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then The Bigfoot

By Dorraine Fisher

The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then The Bigfoot, starring Sam Elliott and Aidan Turner is not what you’d expect. This is a really cheesy title for a film attempting to be as serious as it can. And I think it succeeds...for the most part.

As Sam Elliott arguably delivers some of the best acting of his career, I would venture to guess that many bigfoot believers, as unconventional as they are, would be able to get past the strangeness of the premise of this film and really enjoy it. Though many bigfoot researchers could be left completely cold by the Hollywood-style portrayal of the bigfoot... or completely delighted. The jury’s still out.

Kronos Rising: Diablo
A Review By Dorraine Fisher

Max Hawthorne, the author of the famous Kronos Rising series has done it again with his latest book, Kronos Rising: Diablo. A carefully-crafted fiction about the Diablo Caldera, a volcanic island off the coast of Cuba encasing a giant salt-water lake that has long been the secret home of some terrifying monsters of the deep since the Cretaceous Period. But their imprisonment in this secluded lake is about to come to an end, and a nightmare is about to be unleashed into the open ocean.

This time around, in this intended prologue to the series, Max spins another harrowing, action-packed monster tale, painstakingly researched, and rich in scenic and historic detail, while delivering the same true-to-form, page-turning intensity as always. And all this in this comparatively short novella.

If you’re not familiar with the Kronos Rising series, this is a great book to introduce yourself. And if you’re already a fan, this book will fill some gaps in the story line you may have been looking for. Either way, it’s certain to not disappoint. It’ll keep you pinned to your seat and wanting more.
