Reports that John "Trapper" Tice of Mountain Monsters fame and Co-founder and leader of A.I.M.S has passed away due to complications kidney failure.
Tice was born in 1947 in West Virginia He was a true American outdoorsman and Vietnam war veteran.
Tice had started havign some health issues back in 2015 when he had to undergo an emergency surgery for a blood clot in his leg. It is our understanding that this and other health issues lead to kidney problems.
Tice of course was known for his role in the popular TV show Mountain Monsters. His show was somewhat of a rival to the popular series Finding Bigfoot. There was an online feud of sorts between Tice and Finding Bigfoot show leader Matt Moneymaker.
John R. Tice is also sometimes confused with John K Tice an American Football player and coach born in 1960.
John Trapper Tice was 72 and had been suffering with health issues for about 2 years.
He was a very likable man and a good person. He will be missed.
Thanks
~Thomas~
