The story of Manzo Shepherd and the events that spawned one of the most infamous trials in Harlan County history started on Black Mountain. At 4,145ft it is the tallest peak in Kentucky and one evening in late April 1942, was the location of a brutal murder.

Within one month of the murder of Joe Christian, a taxi cab driver, Shepherd  would be shot in a crowded courtroom of 300 people and his accomplices, Sherman Clouse and Howard Hensley, would both eventually get life sentences to avoid the death penalty.

This following report comes to us from out of Oregon. It was submitted to TCC team members Bobby and Corinna Long.There was a slight delay in getting the report completed due to the fact the witnesses lost cell phone service and was not able to give all the details. The above photo is the picture of the somewhat humorous and classical view of a supposed psychic: the gypsy fortune teller. And for hundreds of years, this has been what people thought about when they heard the word psychic. And no group used it more than the scientific community, as a definition of what a psychic really is. So you can’t blame them for scoffing. But there’s a real and true type of psychic that is quite obviously real and science will have to eventually drop the old definition and start over with a new one. I recently got a report from our friends in Iowa, Corey and Tye or the Bonaparte Bigfoot Team as they are called. They wanted to share one of their findings with all of us. They discovered a very large bigfoot track. The track was over 16 inches long according to the team. In the picture that is a size 13 shoe. The team also made a plaster cast of the print.

I was trying to catch up on some of the latest Bigfoot news and sightings when I ran across another video that claims to show Bigfoot. The footage was captured by a drone and it shows a black colored bigfoot exit a small patch of trees and run across some grass into another patch of trees.

The video was posted by Apex TV and here is what the description said about the clip:

"This video was sent to us by a man in the Midwestern United States. It shows a supposed real life Bigfoot caught on tape by a drone in a local park. I got this bigfoot sighting report submitted a few days ago. In many instances these old logging and mining roads become a area for some fun ATV riding. Many of these old roads are grown up and other than some ATV riding, rarely have visitors. Who doesn't like to hit the old four wheeler and spend a few hours of fun and sight seeing in the mountains. Splashing some mud puddles and having some laughs.

I got this report in a couple days ago. It is interesting, as I do not think I have ever had a report of a Bigfoot in a Hay field. So, the question would be what was it doing there? Maybe it was just passing through, or maybe it was looking for a rabbit. It seems these types of fields attract a lot of rabbits. Then again, could it have been getting some of the hay for bedding? We were all taught in school that depictions and tales of magic and fantastical beings in ancient artwork and writings are just myths; amazing works of fiction and products of active imaginations of our ancestors. Since these have seemed to be too ridiculous to take seriously, we’ve dismissed them and largely ignored them as any serious parts of our history.  But what if that’s a huge mistake and what if we’re missing the point entirely? The biggest flaw in the human brain is this: If we think we know something already, we won’t look at any new ideas about it. It’s the biggest flaw because it can bring progress to a screeching halt. Did scientists first looking at ancient texts and art just decide that the stories were just too unbelievable that they simply HAD to be fictional stories? Dragons, giants, reptilians,  animal-human hybrids, star-beings? Those things don’t exist today, so surely they didn’t exist then. I'm currently writing another book that deals with my time living in a house with paranormal activity. In doing some research about ghost activity, I ran across an interesting report. I was already aware of such reports of phantom telephone rings that many think come from a recently passed loved one.

It is not a far stretch to think that a spirit could make a telephone ring. After all, there is plenty of cases where spirits have caused K2 meters to light up, or unknown voices are captured on a recorder,  or some other device seems to be manipulated by an unseen entity.

Bigfoot researchers know a little something about infrasound. Or do they? The idea of “zapping” is now well-known in the bigfoot world. On 7/8/2017, I was contacted by a person I will call John. While out in the morning, walking his dog, he discovered what appeared to be two very large, human looking foot tracks. The tracks measured an amazing 20 inches in length. He sent me several pictures of the tracks and we talked about his area of  Floyd County.

The following report was published by The United States Gazette of Philadelphia. It was a letter written to William McCarthy, a well respected business man. The letter was written by a Mr. Salmon.

"Mr. Wm. McCarthy -Sir: I feel it my duty to inform you that I have seen what I suppose to be a sea serpent, since I left your village. In a few days after I came home, I was informed by two men, Thomas Jones and Israel Rulon, that some unusual animal was in the creek, but that they could not tell what it was.

I thought but little of it at the time, but concluded I would go and see for myself. In proceeding down the creek, (when probably half way) I saw some animal in the water, its head raised about eighteen inches above the surface, and turning it's head each way.

Social media has been burning up with the Breaking News Virginia Department of Game warns Residents about Bigfoot Story. This "report" has been shared in numerous bigfoot groups and pages on Facebook and other social media sites. I personally have been tagged in the story a few times and been sent the story in private messages. The story tells about how the residents of Scott County, Virginia have been warned about a sighting of a male bigfoot. The story states that deputy Jeff Spicer confirms there has been two sightings of the bigfoot creature.

The only problem is that the report is a total fake and comes from a "create a joke" site. While it appears many have taken the fake news story as real, it is totally unreal and easily provable to be a hoax.

A curious portrait of a woman with an interesting smile on her face that would eventually become famous the world over. The portrait known as simply the Mona Lisa.  But it’s possible that none but Da Vinci himself could predict some of the more elusive reasons this painting would still be under such heavy scrutiny to this day.

Da Vinci was a very secretive man and used a form of writing known as mirror writing to keep his private notes private. Anyone else trying to read them would have, unbeknownst to them, needed to use a mirror to read them. And modern researchers have found that he used the mirror effect for more than just his notes.  He used it in his paintings too. And they’ve found hundreds of examples of this phenomenon in the Mona Lisa alone.

On August the 2nd A & E will debut a new reality TV show featuring Rob Lowe and his two sons.The series is titled "The Lowe Files" and is a nice play on the popular TV show "The X-files".
The upcoming series has set social media on fire thanks to Rob Lowe talking about his encounter with Bigfoot. Lowe claims he and others encountered bigfoot while filming in Ozark Mountains. Lowe stated he ended up on the ground and said he was "thinking I was going to be killed.”

The series is said to span a total of nine episodes for season one. The show follows Rob and his two sons, Matthew and John Owen, as they travel through the country to explore infamous unsolved mysteries, myths and legends.
