In episode 7 Eugene talks about the mysterious Land Between the Lakes (LBL). It is the home of numerous odd reports. The home of several stories about unexplained murders and tales of warnings about certain areas, forbidden areas, not to go into. The land itself has a questionable history which many ties to all the strangeness. Reports of unusual creatures inhabiting this area are abundant.

I will give you a fair warning, some of the stories told in this episode are very graphic.

The discussion focused on the access of UFO-related documents under the military custody. Brazilian government has already declassified more than 4,500 documents but some documents on the more popular cases are not yet released including the Trindade Island sightings, Mearim covertte event and Varginha Case.

Ari Matos, who is the secretary for the Institutional Coordination and Organization of the ministry, reassured the group that all procedures in releasing the documents will be in accordance to Access to Information Act of Brazil or popularly known as LAI.

The meeting which lasted for approximately 75 minutes seemed to bring positive results as everyone involved appeared to be satisfied. According to Brazilian UFO Magazine editor, A.J. Gevaerd, it was the first time in the history of the country that a Ministry of Defense invited UFO researchers to talk about the UFO phenomena and the protocol to be observed in handling its investigation and the information that may come from it.

Another Ufologist in the meeting, Fernando Aragao Ramalho of UFO Magazine, also pleased with the meeting and considered the day as one of the major event in the history of Ufology.

The meeting was in response to a petition that asked the Brazilian government to declassify all UFO documents from their UFO investigations and take UFO sightings seriously. The petition was sponsored by the Brazilian UFO Magazine and created during a Brazilian UFO conference in December 2012 with signatures from the 30 speakers at the conference. The conference represented 15 different countries and had more than 600 attendees.

Just weeks after it shelved plans to solve the decades-long mystery, the Victorian Government now wants to put the matter to rest once and for all.
Witness sightings have been recorded, over at least 60 years, of cougars, panthers or pumas in a wide stretch of Victoria from Gippsland to the Otways, the Grampians, central Victoria and at Beechworth in the northeast.
The reports include livestock maulings and unexplained paw prints.
As reported in The Weekly Times, an official investigation has been launched in line with a 2010 pre-election pledge from Nationals leader Peter Ryan, who said "there were enough credible observations" to warrant the effort.
Agriculture Minister Peter Walsh said work on the big cat study had already started. Mr Walsh said wild-dog control remained the Government's priority but there were now "sufficient departmental resources available".
"The study will review existing literature, reports, correspondence and other evidence for the presence of big cats in Victoria, and it includes liaison with relevant community groups and individuals who have reports or records of possible sightings," Mr Walsh said.

"The study is expected to take several months to complete."

The investigation is known to include staff from the Department of Primary Industries and the Department of Sustainability and Environment.

Opposition agriculture spokesman John Lenders yesterday said the Government's priorities to rural and regional Victorians were more important "than solving Deputy Premier Peter Ryan's obsession with finding his big cat".

Melbourne-based big cats researcher Michael Moss said he had been telephoned by a DSE scientist wanting copies of his research and who asked him to keep the contact secret.

"There is no doubt they (big cats) are out there," Mr Moss said, adding that the recent rediscovery of the Tiger Quoll in the Otways again proved how easy it was for animals to remain undetected in wilderness area for long periods of time.

The story I'm about to tell you was told to me by a person I was around almost everyday for about 5 years. I talked to him about everyday but as time would have it, he moved and so did I.

I of course will change his name in a effort to protect his identity.This story was told to me about 15 years ago and the event happened,I guess, about 20-25 years ago. I will tell it the best I can remember,I'm sure I've forgoten some of the details but the core of the story has stayed with me for all these years. This was a person who I had always found to be very truthful, so I do believe what he told me. 

So one day I was talking to Mike Harris and we got off on the subject of UFOs for some reason.

He said "well,I had something happen while I was in the military".

Of course I was wanting to know what happened so I said "you did, What was it?"

He said  "well I was instructed not to say anything about it, but it's been a while now." He kind of paused and said "I was a medic in the army and it had come time that almost everyone was on leave for a few days, but me being a medic I stayed at the base. Well late one evening a call came in that there was need for a medic and me being the only medic at the base at that time I had to go give assistants. 

Not long after the call 2 MPs showed up to take me on site. The MPs instructed me to keep silent and not talk about where they where taking me and that I could not tell anything about what I saw.

After a short ride we arrived at a base,I had never been there before, we go into the base, the 2 MPs on each side of me and we get ready to go into where they need the medic. 

The 2 MPs get these 2 large black blocker shields. One MP on each side of me with the shields, this was an attempt to block me from seeing and it worked to some degree.

As we start walking in the underground part of this base,heading back to where someone was in need of medical attention, the 2 MPS were on each side of me, I could see these rolls of tubes on each side of the hallway, the tubes were kind of leaned back at a slight angle. I could see by looking more out in front of me, because to each side of me was totally blocked by the MPs, but there was a little gap in the forward direction for me to see where to walk."

He continued the story:

"The lighting was not that great, but I could see these tubes and there were creature type things in them."  At this point I ask him if the creatures looked human. He said "oh no these were ....well looked like a typical alien.... but there were different ones, they all didn't look alike. I have never seen anything like that, it was kind of scary. The tubes were full of liquid." 

I said what happened next? He replied " I got back to where the guy was hurt and treated him, it wasn't nothing too bad, he had some burns. After that the MPs led me back out of the base and returned me to my base."

At this point,best I can remember, he need to go because he was either on his way to work or going to pick up his kids from school. I can't remember for sure. We never talked about this again and it was not long after this that he moved and so did I.

Ok, So I'm just beating around the internet, looking for some UFO stuff, and I was checking out

theobjectreport.com  site. Well they had a picture posted that kind of peeked my interest.

So I checked it out and done some digging on the website it referred me to. I get into a government FTP site, which came with the following strong warnings:

"This US Government computer is for authorized users only. By accessing this system you are consenting to complete monitoring with no expectation of privacy"

Despite the warning and the fear of the MIB, I continued on hoping I could find the photo. I wanted to check the photos before and after the "strange object" one, to see if i could debunk it as a known air craft. The photo after the "strange object" did not contain any thing weird. I think these were taken in 1999 by a satellite , but not 100 percent sure on the year. These photos are in order going down the page from when the object first appeared to the last one showing it.

What follows is the full size pictures and a cut out of the object(about 10-12 pictures).  

As weird as this may seem..there is now an update to this strange story.

As of late afternoon Feb. 8, Bill Hanshumaker, a public marine specialist and (Ph.D) doctor of marine science at the Hatfield Marine Science Center in nearby Newport, told Huliq in an interview that, “I don’t know what they are.” In turn, Doctor Hanshumaker said he’s advised “surf monitoring” about these strange metal boxes that suddenly appeared along local beaches Feb. 6, and now seem to be multiplying like Star Trek “Tribbles.” The photograph that accompanies this report – taken during the afternoon of Feb. 8 near Bray’s Point -- of yet another strange metal box stuck in the surf up is one of a possible group of a dozen or more that have been sited up and down West Coast beaches. Meanwhile, the British government also photographed similar huge metal boxes on beaches in Sri Lanka in the late 1990’s and in early 2004 and 2005. The discovery of the boxes is detailed in updated previously classified reports from the British government that document sightings of unidentified flying objects by both the military and the general public dating back to the 1950s.

Thus, within these British government UFO files, available via the Internet, are the Sri Lanka beach boxes that are similar in both size, coloring and shape; with locals all along Sri Lanka’s beaches – located in the blue waters of the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal – stating in the recently released British UFO documents that “the strange metal boxes appeared suddenly, and after numerous reported UFO sightings.”
In turn, the metal boxes along Oregon, Washington State and Northern California beaches are now being photographed, documented and examined by local experts.
Also, due to recent storms out in the Pacific Ocean, the “boxes” are being more or less ignored; with passing comments in local coastal newspaper,” state Errol, a Bray’s Point local and a member of the Oregon UFO “watchers” group that gathers both here and at nearby Stonefield Beach to scan the sky for flying objects in much the same way bird lovers use binoculars for birth watching.
