I got the following report via Facebook Messenger. The person wishes to remain anonymous, so for this report we will just call him Pete.

This report comes from the Black Mountain area in Harlan county Kentucky. Black Mountain is an excellent area for Bigfoot and is home to numerous Bigfoot reports.

Black Mountain is the highest mountain peak in the Commonwealth of Kentucky with a summit elevation of 4,145 feet  above mean sea level and a top-to-bottom height of over 2,500 feet.

Today I want to share a few possible Bigfoot track photos with you. These tracks were found by our own Tony Felosi back in 2016. They have never been reported or shown until now.

These were found in a remote area of Harlan county Kentucky. It is an area that is still under development. How Tony found these tracks was that he and another person was riding a side by side doing some hiking trail inspections and developments.

This particular area, at the time, was even more rugged than it is now. As the they made their was up the mountain on the ATV, Tony noticed these human looking tracks in a sandy area of the road.They stopped the ATV and Tony took several pictures of the best track. There were several impression but the one that hit in the sandy area made the best impression.

The story of Manzo Shepherd and the events that spawned one of the most infamous trials in Harlan County history started on Black Mountain. At 4,145ft it is the tallest peak in Kentucky and one evening in late April 1942, was the location of a brutal murder.

Within one month of the murder of Joe Christian, a taxi cab driver, Shepherd  would be shot in a crowded courtroom of 300 people and his accomplices, Sherman Clouse and Howard Hensley, would both eventually get life sentences to avoid the death penalty.

I was recently sent a series of three photos of what just might be a bigfoot track. The area they were found in is pretty remote. The tracks were found and photographed by Tony Felosi. Some of you may know or have heard of Tony, he is a paranormal investigator here in my area.
I've gotten to know Tony over the last several month and he would not have sent this to me unless he thought it had the potential to be a real bigfoot track.

This track was found about 2 months ago and it appears it has washed out quite a bit before being discovered. The track appeared to cross over the normal pathway. You would think that a person would walk along the pathway and not just have a random crossing of it. In the picture below is a close up of what appears to be toes.

I wanted to promote an upcoming bigfoot seminar that is taking place on March 25th near my home town. It takes place in the Harlan public library in Harlan county Kentucky. It will start at 1:30pm and end at 5:30pm.

This event is put on by Cook Cryptid Research and will feature the following speakers:
Michael Cook, Tony Felosi and Sam Deloach. It will be a fun and free event. There will be evidence on display and each speaker will have a presentation.

As some of you may recall, I spoke at last year's event (found here) and we had an awesome time. There was a good turn out and good questions. I expect this year to be just as great or better.

River below the Martin's Fork Dam

The following sighting was recently published in one of our local news papers. (Harlandaily.com) Even though this sighting was not submitted directly to me, there was enough information in the Newspaper article to log the sighting. Once I read where the sighting happened I went to the general area and took some photos. The above picture is of the river below the Martins Fork dam. This is an area very close to me and a place where I have fished over the years.

I saw a creature 7 ½ to 8 feet tall at Martins Fork Lake in October of 2000. This creature was on two legs and I was within 50 feet of it…everything you think you know about how Bigfoot looks is nothing compared to what Bigfoot actually looks like.

This thing was 7 ½ to 8 feet tall, and it was probably about 350 to 400 pounds.
You’d think that would be fat, but it wasn’t. It was lean, muscular and built…It had long legs that were half the body length. The arms hung down almost to its knees. It didn’t walk slumped over or hunched over…it was covered in dark, reddish brown hair.

It had a flat nose,Its cheeks weren’t exposed like you see on “Harry and the Hendersons” or anything like that. The thing I noticed most about it was it did have four fingers and a thumb.

After I saw it, I thoroughly believe it. I know it exists, because I saw it with my own two eyes.

He said he ran when he saw it.Cook said the creature he saw did not look like a gorilla or any of the familiar versions of Bigfoot you see in movies.I could hear it screaming up on the ridge,” said Cook. “It wasn’t like a howl like you hear on “Finding Bigfoot” it was a primate scream.”

Bigfoot in Kentucky (Mock up Photo)

So, I had heard about this sighting and I know the person who had it. But I hadn't have a chance to talk to them until a few days ago.  They don't really use the Internet or anything, so this was a face to face report I took. I ask them about doing a sit down audio or video interview and they are thinking about it but are very reluctant to do it for fear of being made fun of.
What I have done is take some notes about the encounter and then I filled out the information below. I know exactly where this sighting took place and many years ago had coon hunted the same area.

I was ginsening and I kept hearing what sounded like someone speaking Russian.  The sound would come and go and it really puzzled me but I kept looking for ginseng. I had just found a big 4 fork and shouted out "Thank the Lord" and all at once a rock about the size of a basketball went zipping by my head. It nearly hit me.
I looked up to where the rock came from and there stood 2 Bigfoots. A really large brownish red female Bigfoot with very large breast. It was standing up the mountain and looking at me. It was about 8 foot tall and was covered in hair. There was less hair around the eyes and cheek bones.  Beside of the large female was a younger Bigfoot. I could not tell if it was a male or female but it was as black as coal. It was much smaller than the female. I was scared to death and got out of there as the 2 Bigfoots turned and walked on up the mountain.

At the bottom of the mountain there was a small logging crew and I think that maybe the mother and child Bigfoot had been around the hill, above the loggers, watching them log. As I went up the mountain our paths must have just crossed.

After I got home I didn't tell anyone, as I thought they would just think I was crazy. I waited 3 days before I finally told my wife.

I personally know this person and I feel like they are telling the truth.  As he was telling me about this the hairs on his arms were standing up. I think he had a real encounter.  It is also commonly reported that Bigfoot throws rocks.

I hope to go to this area in the future as it is only a few miles from me and a place that I have been many times. If he decide to do an interview I will post it up.

Description:
O my lord I was in total shock when I seen the beast digging through my garbage.
Has anyone else seen him/her what ever it is?
Big as a man. Had hair all over it at first I thought it was that homeless black man but I was half sleep then I realized it was no man it was something else. I ran back in to get my pistol and came back out side to kill it, so I could have proof, but the s.o.b. was gone.

While the report does not go into any great detail, it is still worth logging due to the fact that Harlan county has had several sighting of bigfoot over the years. This could just be another little part of the puzzle.

Description:

In October 2008 we went on a 4 wheeler trip to Harlan county, in eastern Kentucky near the Big Black Mountain area, we do this several times each year. My friend, (Ricky) also brought along 2 of his friends who were visiting him from Florida. Let me add here that these 2 men are also great hunters, and trackers as is "Ricky" which is how they became friends in the first place.

On the 2nd morning of our ride we were off the regular riding trails, and into some very thick forested area, and sometimes you could say we were not even on a trail at all. We rounded a small hill which headed down into a large valley, and across from us on the opposite hillside, in the direction we were heading to, stood a large Black Bear. To say the least we were very excited, and we immediately sped up to try to get a closer look at him before he ran away. It was plain to see that what little trail we were trying to follow would take us right up the hillside where the Bear was heading, so off we went as fast as we could go. When we reached the top of the hill, the Bear was already gone into the deep woods, and could no longer be seen. We stopped our 4 wheelers, and sat there getting ready to talk about what we had just seen, when one of the guys from Florida said "well look at this fella's", Let me also add here that it had rained the day before we arrived so there were many places along the trails that still had water in the old 4 wheeler tracks, and lots of fresh mud......... So right there in the middle of the trail was a set of very large foot prints, heading along the trail, on up the mountain, but not along the path the Bear had just taken. I knew immediately what I was seeing from the many Bigfoot tracks I have seen on web-sites, from books, and even TV programs, but I didn't know what to say, so I waited. The other man from Florida said, "you know what that looks like?", no one said anything, so he went on and said "that's one of them Bigfoot prints", I almost fell off my 4 wheeler, I said "do you really think so?" he said "sure , if you hunt as much as we do back in Florida, its not unusual to see them on occasion".

I can't begin to tell you how relieved I was to hear them say this, as I have always been very discreet with my belief in Bigfoot's existence, and as a Pastor/Minister you have to be so careful around people. Now for the real shocker.......... I looked at my friend "Ricky" and said "well Rick, what do you think?" and he looked me straight in the eye and said, "I know they exist I've seen one before ", I literally jumped off my 4 wheeler and said " you got to be kidding me"

We then both learned that although we had been friends for all these years, we had never talked about Bigfoot to each other, and now I find out that he once saw one, needless to say I was blown away from this revelation. I want to leave that story for another post, later.

Some added info on this story...... there were a total of 4 tracks, 2 left and 2 right footprints, going in a straight line right up the middle of the trail. Each print was around 4 to 5 inches wide, and at least 14 to 15 inches long, from toe to heel.  I want to add here that the prints gave the impression that they looked longer because of the up-hill climb, and the slippery mud, but this is just my impression from first looking at the tracks. Each track had 1 Big Toe, and there were sometimes 3 other toe's, and on one track there was 4 toe's, or what looked like the slight imprint of a 4th toe. The length of the stride was somewhere near 4 1/2 to 5 feet...... This is only a guess, because none of us had a ruler, or tape measure.

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Harold Benny:

I have talked to the witness several times by phone and find him to be credible. His commentary is very complete, however, I asked him why he was certain the tracks were not left by the bear seen in the area. He answered that two of the men were experienced bear hunters, examined the tracks, and explained how they were different from bear tracks.

Loud Boom rocks Southeast Ky

A loud boom sound was heard last night (12/01/12) in southeast Kentucky. This was heard in Harlan and Leslie counties,but it is unknown how many other counties or people heard this noise.
The booming sound occurred between 12:00 and 12:30 Saturday night. Some had originally thought that an explosion may have occurred at the Liggett mines but upon further investigation this was not the case.Some people said they felt a little shake to the ground as well.

The Kentucky State Police was contacted but they said didn't have any information on what it was or what caused the loud boom sound.

David Mcgill of Harlan County Emergency Management said "HCEM has not been able to find what caused the boom that happened last night we are continuing to look in to it .."

So what could it have been? well that remains somewhat of a mystery. In the last few weeks Kentucky has had some earthquake activity in this same area. It is somewhat common to hear booms and noise before earthquakes but no earthquake was reported or recorded on this night.
It makes me wonder if this was some kind of prelude to an upcoming earthquake. Also one can probably rule out aircraft due to the large area the unknown sound covered and the high mountain peaks.

UPDATE -  I have now confirmed that this loud boom sound was heard in Bell county,Ky. It was heard in the blackmont area and like others they thought it was a mine explosion. Which was not the case. This Loud boom sound remains a mystery. The loud boon has now been confirmed to be heard in at least 3 counties.

UFO in Wallins Creek Area.

UPDATE: 

I got back in contact with Jeremy.The sighting happened around 5:30pm in the afternoon.Here is some more details about the sighting.

Jeremy had this to say: "I had stopped by a friends house after work that I had not seen in awhile.  We where outside on the porch talking and looked up at the sky talking about the weather and how nice it was outside.  We saw the object going across the sky between a large opening in the trees.  We couldn't hear any noise or see any wings.  One of us said "That looks odd" and the shape looked oval so I took a few pics on my IPhone 4S.  It was not really going very fast but not really slow, so we watched it for about a min or so till it was blocked by the trees."

This UFO report come to us from Jeremy (Last name withheld). The sighting happened about a week ago in the Wallins Creek area in and around a place called Happy Top. This is in Harlan county Kentucky.
Here is what Jeremy told us about this object.
"I saw this the other week from Coldiron, ky while I was at a friends house on top of happy top.  We thought it looked odd, not like a plane."

I have send an email to Jeremy in an attempt to get more details about the object and sighting.
I'm currently awaiting his reply and will update the post with any information ASAP.
What is interesting about this sighting is that about one month ago I personally seen something very similar to what is in the photo Jeremy send me. What I saw was very bright and had no visible wings,moving silently and disappeared in a matter of a few seconds behind the ridge line. I also live withing a few miles of Wallins Creek.
