Dogs React to Sound From Woods

I have been meaning to write this event out for a week or more now, but just haven't taken the time until now.

What I'm about to tell you happened about 4 or 5 weeks ago and has stayed in my mind. I will need to set up what was happening and a little background for you to understand it better...so here it goes.

Possible Bigfoot Howls or Screams From Douglas County, OR

The following howls or screams were recorded in Sutherlin Oregon. Sutherlin is a town in Douglas County. The sounds were recorded on 10/03/20 at around 10 pm just past Ford's pond. According to the witness the screams continued for about 10 minutes.

The witness, Anthony, was outside his home at around 10pm when he started hearing these mysterious screams. He was able to use his cell phone to record a video, which captured the sounds. The witness also thought he heard some grunting sounds too but didn’t catch them on camera.

The witness shared what he had just recorded with his mother. She said "I have never heard anything like it and I’ve been hunting these hills my entire life. It was not any known animal I’ve ever heard.
The closest I’ve heard is the death moan of a bear, But this was different."

I have enhanced the sound by boosting the audio. Here is the video.

More Bigfoot Screams In Ohio?
By Dorraine Fisher

This is a very short but telling video that’s been circulating recently. Researchers have heard these kinds of screams before, but each time we hear them it serves to reinforce the existence of unknown creatures in our woods. These sounds are not being made by a coyote or bear or cougar, or anything else that’s known. And they are screams that are rather haunting and display a level of emotion that we don’t often find in any known animals. In fact, many of these screams indicate the creature in question is grieving or suffering some other kind of emotional torment.

A Youtuber known only as Preston Riley who posts mostly video gaming videos on his channel suddenly posted this one on February 9, 2020. He claims it was recorded in Ohio outside his house.  He also claims it’s 100 percent real and that he had never heard anything like it before. But is it Bigfoot? Listen and tell us what you think.

Unknown Sounds Recorded - Blue Ridge Mountains

We were recently contacted by a friend who had captured some faint sounds while in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. They wanted us to try and enhance the audio in an attempt to hear the sounds better.

This video with these faint sounds coming from the forest was recorded on February 23, 2018.
We know the Blue Ridge Mountain range is an ideal place for Bigfoot. The Blue Ridge Mountains extend 550 miles southwest from southern Pennsylvania through Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia.

Here is the video with enhancements to the sound.

What is Making these Sounds?

These odd sounds were recorded in West Virginia very recently, by Wyatt Zombro. Wyatt is a young budding bigfoot researcher. He and I have been talking for about a month or so, and he shared his recording with me. I have attempted to enhance the sound, the volume was really low, in an effort to hear the sound better.

Wyatt told me he did not know for sure what was making the sound. Over the last month, Wyatt has shared several pictures with me of possible stick formations. After viewing them, I thought to myself, if I found those, I would know there were bigfoot in the area. So I do think he has bigfoot in his area. So could this recording possibly be a bigfoot? I really don't know. Have a listen and see what you think.

Today kind of ended with a odd event. I will start from the first to give you a feel for what was going on.

I was in the mountains with my dad today, we were scouting around for some ginseng. The area we were in is very steep. When I say steep, I mean cow's face steep. It is so steep that if you get into a spot where there is no small trees to pull yourself up, you can't go any higher. This happened to me on another day in this same area, only back to our left. But today, we were successful getting near the top of the mountain.

When we were about half way up, I flanked left and my dad right. The plan was that I would continue going left and back to the truck and my dad would go right and then circle back around the small ridge and back to the truck. Well, once I got near the top I found an old road. I thought to myself, "I haven't heard from dad, I'd better check on him". So I go decided to walk right towards the area dad was suppose to be in.

As I'm going along I stop at certain points and do a loud "whoop" to see if dad can hear me. While in the woods I make a whoop sound so my dad will know where I'm at and then he normally responses with a yell of some sort. Well, I walked and whooped several times but did not get any holler back from my dad. I kind of got a little worried because dad had major heart surgery about a year ago. He is doing really well, but I'm afraid he will push himself too hard. After all he is almost 67 years old.

I decide, that maybe he is already back at the truck and somehow we crossed paths and didn't hear or see each other. The mountain is surly big enough for this to have happened. So I started walking back towards the truck but I was still way up on the mountain. I also stopped briefly along the way and did many whoops in case dad was below me. I never got any replies from him.

After walking a pretty good ways, I hear the horn on the truck blow. We had said that if one of us got to the truck before the other, we would blow the horn. So, I let out a loud whoop in hopes that my dad would hear me. I realized he didn't hear me so I let our a very loud "redneck yell". He blew the horn but I found out later he didn't hear me, it was just him doing another blow.

I kept making my way down the steep mountain towards the truck, making some whoops along the way. My dad stopped blowing the horn, of course this made me worry a little that he might be sick or something. I know, I worry too much. I got to a point, going down the mountain, that I was stuck on a high wall (about a 30-40 foot cliff).  So I had to circle back a little to get down, which I did.

Here is where things get interesting.

Once down into the grown up, weed riddled road we walked in on, I let out a whoop to let my dad know I was near the truck. I could not see the truck, it was about a quarter mile away. Well, just as I let out the whoop, I heard brush break above the high wall and then a short quick whoop followed quickly by "Hey!". I immediately thought it was my dad going back up the mountain to look for me. So, I yelled out, "I'm in the road, where you going?".  At that moment the horn on the truck blew, letting me know what ever "whooped" at me was not my dad. Whatever it was on the cliff, did not make another sound or movement that I could hear. I was so beat, and soaked with sweat but I mustered up a whoop to see if whatever it was would reply, it didn't.

I kept moving towards the truck, I was gasping for breath from the walk down the mountain. Once I got to the truck, I took off my long sleeved shirt, to help cool down. I ask dad if he had seen anyone go by on a ATV or anything. He said no and that he had been there about 40 minutes or more. I told him about the event that just happened while I was in the old road. He said "well, I heard a loud wood breaking sound a few minutes ago". He said "I thought it was you getting close and had stepped on a branch". But it was from an area to my dad's right and in an area I had not been in that day.

I do not know what it was for sure, there is a very slim chance it could have been a person but I think a person would have talked to me or my dad would have seen them. This ares is very close to a Bigfoot sighting that happened about 2 summers ago.  I'm almost convinced it was a Bigfoot, and can't just explain it away. Did all my whooping and his horn blowing stir up a Bigfoot?

So, my question, I guess, is has anyone else had a similar experience or had a Bigfoot yell hey?  If so I would be interested in hearing about it.

Also please note this did not happen in any of my normal research areas, but the area is vast and has very little population of people. There is a handful of houses at the base of the mountain. The roads are rough and not traveled by very many people. Those who travel it normally use ATVs.

All in all it was an interesting day.

Thanks
~Tom~

Area where creature was seen. (photo provided by Corey and Tye)
Over the weekend, I got in this report of a possible sighting of a Shunka Warakin. For those who may not know, the Shunka Warakin is a wolf/hyena type creature mostly reported out west.

Here is the report.

- Start Report -

Name: Corey ******
Email Address: On file
State: Iowa
County: Van Buren
Date of Sighting: July 2,2015
Time of Day: 10 pm
Nearest Town: Bentonsport
Length of Sighting: 15-30 minutes
How many Witnesses: myself and Tye
Any Photos/Videos: none
Describe sighting in detail:

It was around 10 pm, Tye and I saw what we thought was a coyote coming out of the brush across from us along the edge of the field and raised its head high as it watched us before going back in.

Then it reappeared in the lower part of the field and we thought it was a coyote by the way it was trotting. It kept coming towards us and didn't seem to have any fear of us. We hurried down along the edge of the field to have a closer look of it. We got at least a couple of hundred yards with our spotlights on it the whole way and we could see it was a very large canine. It sometimes raised its head high to look at us which was 3 or 4 times. It had pointed ears and was grayish tan. I'm guessing it stood at least 4 feet or so high at the head, Tye thought it stood on its hind legs but I think it just raised its head.

Unknown Sounds Recorded

I recently purchased a sound recorder that I can leave out overnight in the woods. The reason I got this was that I recently had some odd sounds in Area 1.

After checking out the manual on the recorder I decided to give it a test overnight. I placed it out in Area 2, which is basically right where I live. There have been 2 Bigfoot sightings, one by me, in the immediate area, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try the recorder.

During the night I did manage to record some common sounds with the recorder. For some reason, the dogs were barking like made for a short span. I also recorded a lot of frog and bug sounds.

There were some odd sounds. It sounds like voices, but again some dogs are barking and making it hard to hear. During the night there were also some odd bangs. So I have enhanced these sounds and made a short video.  I'm NOT claiming any of this was done or made by a Bigfoot, I'm just saying I don't know what made the sounds.

Here is the video

Sounds From Kentucky

This is a few small snips from a larger audio recording by Tabatha Steagall. The recording was made in Sept. of 2014. The sounds were recorded in Kentucky. Tabatha has recorded other odd sounds in this area. One of her other recording was featured in the documentary Bigfoot: The Evidence Files.

She is not claiming this is a Bigfoot making these sounds, but ask me to enhance the audio in an effort to determine what some of the sounds are.
Some of the sounds are coyotes but what are the other sounds? Could it have been a Bigfoot?

Here is the enhanced clip

Sounds from KY - Enhanced (recorded 2014) by TheCryptoCrew

A big thanks goes to Tabatha for letting us attempt to enhance the audio and for letting us share it.
In the original clip the audio was really hard to hear, even with the speakers all the way up, but now after the enhancement we have a better shot at identifying the sounds.

So what do you hear?

Thanks
~Tom~

Loud Boom rocks Southeast Ky
A loud boom sound was heard last night (12/01/12) in southeast Kentucky. This was heard in Harlan and Leslie counties, but it is unknown how many other counties or people heard this noise.
The booming sound occurred between 12:00 and 12:30 Saturday night. Some had originally thought that an explosion may have occurred at the Liggett mines but upon further investigation this was not the case. Some people said they felt a little shake to the ground as well.

The Kentucky State Police was contacted but they said didn't have any information on what it was or what caused the loud boom sound.

David Mcgill of Harlan County Emergency Management said "HCEM has not been able to find what caused the boom that happened last night we are continuing to look in to it .."

So what could it have been? well that remains somewhat of a mystery. In the last few weeks Kentucky has had some earthquake activity in this same area. It is somewhat common to hear booms and noise before earthquakes but no earthquake was reported or recorded on this night.
It makes me wonder if this was some kind of prelude to an upcoming earthquake. Also one can probably rule out aircraft due to the large area the unknown sound covered and the high mountain peaks.

Anyone with information on the unknown sound can email  me at thecryptocrew@kih.net

Thanks

UPDATE -  I have now confirmed that this loud boom sound was heard in Bell county,Ky. It was heard in the blackmont area and like others they thought it was a mine explosion. Which was not the case. This Loud boom sound remains a mystery. The loud boon has now been confirmed to be heard in at least 3 counties.
