The Loveland Frog

The Loveland Frog [or Loveland Lizard] is one of those creatures that hovers between cryptid and urban legend. And what I thought would be an easy post turned more complicated than I thought.

You see, there are not only the multiple alleged sightings of this creature, but there are multiple versions of the multiple alleged sightings. But let's see if I can make some sense of it all.

The Loveland Frog is listed as one of the cryptids that the state of Ohio is known for. That and the Ohio Grassman [which is a regional name for bigfoot and not one that the rest of the state necessarily uses] and the Minerva Monster [which is another regional name for bigfoot]. Cedar Bog Monster [bigfoot]. Orange Eyes [either bigfoot or an alien]. We share Mothman with West Virginia, who is better known for the creature. We have dogman and the Crosswick Monster [humanoid snake]. And we have the Charles Mills Lake Monster and our own Lake Erie Monster, Bessie.

But back to the Loveland Frog.

 Bigfoot Field Research Video 1

I finally got the time to release the research video from Aug. 5, 2021. I do spend a lot of time in the woods looking for bigfoot evidence and just generally exploring the area. I thought I would continue releasing these videos for those who like them.

I do make a few discoveries that are pretty interesting. Right now I have two main areas that I have been researching hard this summer. One area I normally only go in a few times a year but this year I have gone in there at least once a week for the last two or three months.

Many Vietnam Vets came home from their service telling tales of this aggressive and prolific being.

When I saw the title of the paranormal show this spring that stated they were featuring the Rock Apes, I was impressed. Finally, something new.

Well, no. Despite all the first person stories, all the printed tales, and all the information that could have been featured, it turned into a rehash of the Minnesota Iceman. And one of Hansen's many versions of the story of how he obtained the specimen. YAWN.

Don't get me wrong. The stories surrounding the Minnesota Iceman are intriguing and open up all sorts of lines of inquiry. And I like Loren Coleman. But I cannot agree with him that the Minnesota Iceman is a Rock Ape shot and killed in Vietnam.  But that's for another post. Maybe. Back to the Rock Apes.

Deer People - (part two)

So what are Deer People?

People have offered several solutions and explanations.

The one most offered is mistaken identification. Poor lighting distorts a normal deer. Or large dogs are mistaken for a deer. Many of the sightings involve the deer standing directly in the headlights.

Here's an experience from a South Dakota college student. The student had ended up at the emergency room due to pain and was finally returning back to the dorm, one way trip of around 20 miles. It was 2 am and "Jackie" was feeling sleepy and decided to pull over to the side of the road for a minute or two and try to wake up. 

The Murphysboro Mud Monster

The Murphysboro Mud Monster events started in June of 1973 when a young couple (Randy Needham and Judy Johnson) were parked at a boat launch in Riverside park, next to the Big Muddy River. (The big Muddy River is a 156 mile long river that joins the Mississippi south of Grand Tower.) The two were listening to the radio deciding whether to leave or stay a little longer. Judy's father had forbid her to see Randy, which is why they were parked at this remote location. They were interrupted by the sound of what Randy described as "An Eagle shrieking into a microphone" coming from the bush along the river. Shutting off the radio to listen closer it happened a second time but this time coming with movement in bush in front of them. Randy hit the headlights and the couple saw a large foul smelling creature roughly 8ft tall, light colored hair matted with mud and walking on two legs toward the vehicle. Randy started the car and sped back toward town. After a few minutes of silence between the two they debated on whether or not to make a report to the local police. This was a forbidden romance after all and at the very least would expose them.

When they weighed what had just happened against the possible backlash they would receive for being down there together they headed straight to the police station. 

Possible Dogman Sighting

Here in my little area of Kentucky, we don't get very many dogman reports. This following report comes from our neighboring state of Virginia. The terrain in Virginia is very much like here in Kentucky with lots of mountains, trees and water sources. Which would seem to be an idea place for almost any creature out there.

I got this particular report in a few days ago but I was out of town, so I'm just now getting time to post it. Was this a Dogman? or something else?

Sasquatch Population in the Appalachians – 1600 A.D. to 2021 A.D.

I am Guy Luneau, the 58 year old (here in August 2021) retired chemical engineer from Arkansas who met Thomas Marcum for my first time ever and went into the Bell and Harlan County, Kentucky foothill forests with him on May 18-20, 2021 to search for Sasquatch evidence.  In May and June, Thomas posted the two stories I wrote, and they can be found on this website.  I was stunned to have witnessed the fifty-plus Sasquatch footprints in the mud that we found from at least 6 individual Bigfoots in two locations in just 2 days of poking around in the woods, as well as Bigfoot stick structures and sapling snap-offs that we witnessed.  Sasquatch sign was present in an astonishing abundance – much more than I had ever thought possible when I had asked him to take me on this two-day field trip.  It set my brain to work in ways that I never foresaw putting my brain to work.  Eye-opening.  Riveting.  Tapping into things that I had not seen coming my way.

Deepfakes: Can We Believe What We See On Video?

We can often get triggered by something a certain politician or prominent figure in the world has said, but are we sure they really said it? Are we really sure that everything we’re seeing these days is real?
Deepfakes are becoming more popular and more convincing. So convincing that we can’t really trust what we see anymore. We all need to be very careful of this technology because we’ve been programmed to believe that “seeing is believing.” But today we have to be really careful of believing everything we see and hear. Because technology has become very advanced. More advanced than most of us realize.

Bigfoot Research Trip (7/29/21)

Back out in the woods, once again, for an early morning research trip. On this day trip I would be going to two different locations. This is something I do often and on these hot and humid days, I like to get an early start to the day. On this day by noon time, I had already logged 6 miles and had found a few interesting things. 

Baby Bigfoot Track Castings - Looking At Details

Today I finally got and took the time to clean those baby bigfoot track casting I made about 2 weeks ago. I wanted to show you some of the details of the castings and search them for hairs.

I have found hairs in a previous casting from a couple years ago, so I wanted to check these as well. I did notice while cleaning them there was some hair in the mud.

I got the following possible bigfoot sighting report submitted just a few days ago. I have sent off an email in an effort to get more details but they have not been answered. This could be because the email went to a spam folder and was not seen or a number of other reasons for no reply. I wanted more information as the submitted info is rather brief.

I thought it would be best, seeing as how this is a fresh report, to just go ahead and share the report. If anyone else has seen this, then please let us know.

Possible RAKE Sightings

I got the following email report in a few days ago. Now let me be clear I don't know a whole big lot about the RAKE and I'm assuming some of our readers don't either.

The Rake is a creature believed to be a humanoid in appearance, with several references in folklore and horrific urban legends, originally appearing on the internet on Creepypasta. The creature reportedly attacks humans due to unknown reasons and often causes its victims great psychological trauma.

It was always my understanding that the Creepypasta website was just a home for made up stories with no truth to them. But it appears that people are actually seeing something, whether its a Rake or not, that is very similar to what is described as a Rake.

With that said below is the sighting reports submitted by the witness, along with some pictures.

Animating Photos Part 2

I finally got around to making and posting part 2 of the Animating Photos video. These are often times weird, creepy, and fun all at the same time.

Technology can be fun and amazing sometimes. I would look for this type of software to improve over the next few years.

Way back in 1974 at 4:00 in the afternoon, a Canadian housewife and mother named Dorothy Izzat saw a dancing light in the sky outside her guest room window. After dark that night, through her heavy drapes in the window, she saw another bright light that she thought was the moon at first, but she realized it couldn’t be the moon because it was wobbling.

 She suddenly had the interesting idea to flash a flashlight out the window. She moved the light back and forth and was astounded that the light in the sky mimicked her movement with the flashlight. Little did she know that later that night she would be visited by three “men” who would explain to her what she was being given and what she was being shown. And their message about humanity was profoundly truthful in what we now understand about the mysteries of the world and how reality actually works. They told her of things that are common to hear about now but weren’t even discussed by people in the 1970’s.

Bigfoot Research Trip - Baby Tracks

Is it Bigfoot?

So, today I wanted to share and look at a photo making the rounds on social media. I know some of you may have seen this already but I wanted to offer my opinion, for whats it worth, about it.

This picture, the picture at the top, was posted in a few of the bigfoot groups/pages on Facebook. The best I can remember this was supposedly a possible bigfoot from the UK.

I recently got in this report of a very large bird sighting. I'm not sure what kind of bird the witness saw and described but many might say it was a possible thunderbird. Thunderbirds are a cryptid large bird believed to be a predatory bird, larger and perhaps stronger than known species.

We all know that the Pine Mountain range is home to numerous bigfoot sightings. But it is also home to a lot of other strange activities. Everything from ghosts to UFOs and even murders have plagued the mountain range.

I got this report in a couple days ago. It is a brief sighting and report but I wanted to share in with everyone. My hope is that someone else possibly saw this creature in or around this same area and can shed some light on just what it was.

Fire In The Sky! The Travis Walton Alien Abduction Story

Back in 1975, a 22-year-old Travis Walton was working a forestry job in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest near Snowflake, Arizona. On an eerie night in November of that year, Walton and a group of his co-workers saw a huge, bright saucer-shaped object hovering ahead of them about 110 feet away. Walton said that for some reason he got out of the truck to get a closer look, but he was zapped unconscious by a beam of light. The other men claimed they were afraid and drove away from the scene and were later suspected of murdering Walton. Local authorities searched for him for several days with scent dogs and helicopters to no avail, but he finally reappeared by the roadside five days later near Heber, Arizona.

His co-workers were later subjected to polygraph tests that they passed. And in 1978, Walton wrote his tell-all book called The Walton Experience which was adapted into the slightly sensationalized 1993 blockbuster movie, Fire In The Sky.

Bigfoot Seen Near Creek - Witness Interview & Investigation

Over the course of roughly a week, one family had two possible brushes with a bigfoot. The first incident involved the family's children. There was later a visual sighting by the children's parents one late evening. There are many elements in play surrounding these events. Please view the video and get all the information.

I was able to interview both witnesses, one of which agreed to a recorded interview, both witnesses told me the location in which the bigfoot was standing, independently. Before I get to the video part of this post, let me assure you that these witnesses are creditable, they have no reason to fabricate a story, I have known their family most of my life, and the area is a prime spot for bigfoot. It is fairly close to where I had a visual a few years ago.

Today I had just a little free time and wanted to search the internet for any interesting UFO reports. I stumbled across a new report from Rhode Island on the MUFON website and wanted to share it. There is an accompanying video with some enhancements. A white object is seen briefly and it appears to be moving at a high rate of speed. The witness was filming a horse and captured the object on camera on 6/13/21.

Alien Invasion On Earth? Is It A Possibility?

I’ve heard rumors that a full-blown War-of-the-Worlds-style alien invasion was coming, or that the world media would try to report that an alien invasion was coming to earth in order to strike fear in the masses and assume more control over our lives.  And they’re using the many new UFO sightings that have happened recently to reinforce this idea.

    But this is not plausible and I’ll tell you why.

    Many insiders will tell you extraterrestrials are already here and have been for aeons and they live among us, and you may even know one or have seen one.  Although there are around ten alien races that have association with earth and humans, there are two basic groups here: The Reticulans of the Reticulan Empire and the Galactic Federation Of Light, also known as the Confederation Of Planets.

 Interview and Bigfoot Activity

I've been a little while getting this ready to posting. It is from our, what amounted to, a three-day expedition looking for bigfoot evidence in Kentucky. Guy Luneau had driven from Arkansas to explore the wilderness with me. While we were out there in the woods, I wanted Guy to tell about his 2006 Bigfoot event on camera. What happens at the end of his story was very unexpected and just what we saw or didn't see is a struggle for both of us. One look at the image above and you can see the shock, fear, and awe on Guy's face. It was a genuine reaction that was also filled with excitement.

We had already had a very successful day and had found a lot of bigfoot tracks. We sat down and had a small snack. Once done with our snack,  I had Guy tell us his 2006 story, then it kind of got interesting for a bit.

Psychic Abilities:  How To Know If You’re Clairaudient

Many of the reasons science rejects the idea of psychic abilities is because those abilities come in many different forms and manifest in different ways. And often psychic experiences are very personal to the individual having the experiences and those experiences often cannot be proven to others. So those with psychic abilities are left keeping them quiet. Being a psychic does not necessarily mean we can flat-out read people’s minds or predict future events 100 percent of the time. Psychic skills just don’t work that way. They are often much more subtle and vary from person to person.

I did not even mention in that story the aged, sparsely-constructed “hut”/game blind/loafing structure that Sasquatch built and that Thomas showed me and we studied for 10 minutes. Sasquatch sign was present in an astonishing abundance – much more than I had ever thought possible when I had asked him to take me on this two-day field trip. It set my brain to work in ways that I never foresaw putting my brain to work. Eye-opening. Riveting.  Tapping into things that I had not seen coming my way.

As a seasoned veteran woodsman who hunts and fishes to feed himself, as well as being a lifelong birder who has seen all but one of North America’s approximate 700 bird species, I quickly recognized that Thomas, too, is a seasoned veteran of woodsmanship. After we had seen all the Sasquatch sign that we put our eyes on in two days, including the numerous footprints of a family of four Sasquatches that took a stroll together down the old two-track logging road through the forest that he took me down, plus knowing that Thomas has performed more direct, on-the-ground, Sasquatch research than almost anyone on Planet Earth, I had an in-depth discussion with Thomas to determine if (1) we could make a reasonable estimate of the home range of a family of Sasquatches in these foothills, and (2) make a reasonable estimate of the Sasquatch population in the eastern one-third of Kentucky which is comprised of the forested foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and has a low-density human population.

Hunter Hears Possible Bigfoot Vocalizations

Our friend Guy, had a very plausible Bigfoot localization event while turkey hunting. He reported it to the BFRO but has also granted us permission to post up he event. You have probably heard Guy or I refer to this event in some of our previous post. Well, now you will get the chance to read about it in greater detail. I have also included the above google map image of the area.

 A Different Type of Bigfoot?

Since I became friends with Guy Luneau, I've had a renewed interest in the Ivory Billed Woodpecker. You see, the ivory-bill woodpecker is very much like our elusive bigfoot. Depending on who you ask and what you read, you will find that some people tell us the ivory-billed woodpecker is extinct. While others insist it is still around but only a few of them remain. Guy renewed by interest with his vast knowledge of birds in general. Of course, while on our expedition for bigfoot evidence, we talked about the many birds in our world, including the ivory-billed.

The American Birding Association lists the bird as "definitely or probably extinct". While the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) lists the species as "Critically Endangered" on its list.

New fake bigfoot video alert. This was a pretty good effort. You see a couple guys riding along in a side by side ..shooting the breeze when they just happened to catch a bigfoot running through the woods.

Sasquatch Field Trip in the Eastern Kentucky Appalachian Foothills
May 18-20, 2021 with Thomas Marcum

I am Guy Luneau, a 58 year old (here in May 2021) retired chemical engineer from Arkansas. I was born and raised here, worked in Texas in polymers/plastics technology for a career, then Joan, our son Scott, and I returned to Arkansas after retirement to leave the faster-paced Texas behind us.

During our recent expedition, we made many discoveries that I wanted to share. I have already made two posts about our adventure. This post will feature a video we took while in the mountains. 

At this point in the adventure, we had already found the tracks where the bigfoot had jumped in the mud and walked around the marsh. The next area contain a fairly large mud hole that provided several tracks from at least three different-sized bigfoots.

What follows is the video we took showing the tracks and discussing our findings.
