So, today I wanted to share and look at a photo making the rounds on social media. I know some of you may have seen this already but I wanted to offer my opinion, for whats it worth, about it.
This picture, the picture at the top, was posted in a few of the bigfoot groups/pages on Facebook. The best I can remember this was supposedly a possible bigfoot from the UK.
I have zoomed in the object
This is the zoom on what some think is a bigfoot or some similar being. To me the color seems a bit off but hey I do know bigfoot come in various colors. There is not much muscle definition but one look at a black bear from a distance and you will also not see any muscle definition.
I personally do not think this is a bigfoot at all or even a person for that matter. I think what we are looking at here is another tree or bush or even a branch on the tree that has fallen over.
But the object in question does have a humanoid shape to it and our minds will quickly try to make sense of it. This is probably why some will go straight to it being a bigfoot.
If you look at the below picture you can see that there is a root ball on the right. This tree has fallen over and this is either a branch from the tree or this is a smaller tree/bush that was possible hit by the falling tree.
My guess is that whoever took the original photo knows exactly what this is or isn't. But sometimes another person will grab the photo, think it contains an image of a bigfoot, and post it on social media. There is no shortage of people who are willing to accept almost any picture as a bigfoot. And even fewer who will take the time to study the picture for more details.
It is always recommended that you take a follow up picture if possible. A follow up picture would show that either the object is not there or still there and thus help the viewer to determine just what is in the photograph.
I did one last experiment on the picture and compared it to a very famous image from the Patterson footage.

This result leads me to believe that the UK photo is a tree or bush. I also tried this experiment with pictures of bears and the results were the same. The bear appeared white like Patty does. I also tried the experiment with people in ghillie suits and they also turn out white. I tried it with small trees and they were more dark but not as dark as the UK photo. So, I can't draw any 100 percent conclusion from this but there is a difference.
Other than that, I do not know much information about the photograph, best as I can recall there was no back story to go along with it. I also have no idea who actually took the picture so I can not credit the person.
In the end I think it is just a bush or small tree, even though I was unable to 100 percent prove it.
