Mogollon Monster - Arizona

There is an "eerie silence prior to the encounter, an appreciable stillness in the woods that commonly surrounds predatory animals."

The Mogollon Monster [named after the region it lives in] is said to be a legendary creature. There are accounts of it coming from central and eastern Arizona and along the Mogollon Rim. Although most often described as a bigfoot or ape-like creature, descriptions vary somewhat.

Mainstream scientists remain skeptical of its existence despite the footprints, videos, and hair samples collected by researchers and enthusiasts.

Bigfoot Research Trip (7/29/21)

Back out in the woods, once again, for an early morning research trip. On this day trip I would be going to two different locations. This is something I do often and on these hot and humid days, I like to get an early start to the day. On this day by noon time, I had already logged 6 miles and had found a few interesting things.

I figured the best way to share this type of outing is to make it into short videos.

More Creepy Trail Cam Photos

By Dorraine Fisher

With trail cameras becoming more affordable than ever before, more and more people are opting to set them up in their backyards or their favorite nature area. And the results have been shocking, amusing, disturbing, and downright unbelievable at times. These cameras can often capture things that would not normally be captured in the wild. But they can also be used for pranks and fakery or just for fun. So, as always, we have to be careful about what we believe.

The following is a new batch of trail cam photos from around the world. Some of them may make you never want to go out into the woods again. Some of them border on the ridiculously fake (maybe) and others will make you say Hmmm. But one thing is for sure. There’s a lot more going on in the world than most of us sees. Especially at night. If the tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it or see it, did it really fall? Apparently it did if there’s a trail cam around to capture it. But once again, the lines of reality are seriously blurred.

Check these out and tell us what you think. Which ones are real and which ones are fake? Are they all real? Are they all fake? You be the judge.

On Monday, May 29th, my wife and I took advantage of her day off to do some hiking. Well, if any of you know me, when I go hiking, I'm always looking for signs of bigfoot, making the occasional whoop and listening for odd sounds.

We were hiking one of the harder trails, it was only a 1 mile trail, but it was about 90 percent up hill the whole way, it was steep. Also, this trail, like many in this area, is really isolated to a great degree.

My Crypto World - Old UFO Slides Part 2

Welcome to another episode of My Crypto World. This is actually part 2 of the episode "Old UFO Slides". In this episode, we actually look at some of the slides after I have corrected their orientation and made lighting adjustments. I also give some commentary on some of the images. There are a couple real interesting ones that deal with the Flatwoods Monster. For those who may not know or remember, I got these slides with the backstory of them being unpublished and uncirculated. So, I guess some of these are being seen for the first time in a public format.

Here is part 2 of Old UFO Slides.

My Crypto World - Local Bigfoot Sightings

In this episode, I tell about several local bigfoot sightings. Some of the reports are pretty recent, within a couple years, and some I was able to investigate or was able to talk to the witness. I think most will like this episode.
Episode 14

Here is the episode.

Weird Lights on Game Camera

I recently picked up my game cameras from my bigfoot research area. While going through the footage I noticed one of the game cam videos has a couple odd lights. The only thing I can figure out is that it may be a spider web and it is reflecting the light from the camera. There does not appear to be much if any wind.

Just thought I would share it.
Here is the video.

Howl in Iowa - Enhancement

The research team of Corey and Tye has been documenting a lot of possible bigfoot activity in Iowa. Recently they recorded what sounds like a really long reply howl. The sound is really far away and it is difficult to hear. I have attempted to enhance the audio so we all can hear this possible howl better. The sound/howl seems to taper off at the end. Even after some enhancement, the howl is hard to hear.

Here is the enhanced audio. This was originally recorded on May 25, 2016.

Is This Champ, The Monster Of Lake Champlain?
By Dorraine Fisher

Lake Champlain is a 125 mile (201 km) long strip of freshwater lake located between New York State and Vermont, extending all the way up into Quebec, Canada. It is named for Samuel De Champlain, the founder of Quebec. It’s a beautiful area, but the most interesting thing about it is the legend of Champ, the monster that’s believed to live in the lake.

And Champlain was the first recorded European who claimed to have seen the creature. He described it as “20-foot serpent thick as a barrel, and a head like a horse." Many believe the creature could possibly be a relic plesiousaur, a dinosaur believed to have become extinct during the early part of the Jurassic period, but somehow managed to survive after the lake dried up somewhat and was cut off from the larger body of salt water which included the Atlantic Ocean.

Many people in the area believe the stories are just legend with no real basis except to boost tourism around the lake. But since Champlain’s time, there have been hundreds of sightings, but very little concrete evidence.

But that may have changed when two fisherman in the area claimed to have spotted the creature and caught it on video.

Watch this footage carefully and tell us what you think.

Today's weird ebay find is of a mounted Bigfoot. Of course, we have seen similar items like this one in the past. Normally they are made out of the rump of a deer. I'm assuming this one is also made from a deer's butt. I think this one is a pretty good representation of our ol' buddy bigfoot. But what I find somewhat shocking about this piece is the price. The price is set at $25,000! I was like C'mon if you don't want to sell it then just don't list it ....then I noticed it has 32 people watching this listing. So maybe the price is not so shocking to others...well at least 32 of them.

Here is what the description say about the item.

"Up for sale is an actual Bigfoot shoulder mount! I would tell you how we "acquired" this Sasquatch in the swamps of the Aucilla River, but you wouldn't believe me anyhow. We have had this Yeti in our family for many many years. It just may be the only proof that Bigfoot truly exists! It's time for it to go, our cats, dog, kids and a few adult neighbors are all to afraid of it. This is truly rare and a one of a kind.

This is your once in a life-time opportunity to own a legit Sasquatch wall-hanger. Not even Basspro or Cabelas owns a YETI. The only pictures of a Bigfoot mount you will find on the internet are of only this stud. The next one we find we will mount the entire body, but we could only afford the shoulder mount at the time we harvested this big guy. He stood over 7.5 feet tall and weighed to much for our scales to accurately measure. Local pickup is preferred; however, we could arrange for shipping if you are not local. Please inquire."

So, from the description, I'm assuming they are trying to pass it off as a real Sasquatch? Is that why people are interested in it at that price? I also assume they are just joking but maybe the gullible are taking the bait.

I still think it would be a cool item to have but not at that price. If you would like to check it out for yourself and see the other pictures, then  JUST CLICK HERE

If anyone buys this, let us know.

Also, I make no claims or promises about this item, I'm only sharing the listing and my thoughts about it. I do not know the person selling it and have not had any contact with them.

Thanks
~Tom~

Bear or Bigfoot?
The above photo was taken on Aug. 6 of  2008 by a person only identified as "Florian".
Some say the photo shows a bigfoot while others say it is just a bear rubbing it's back against the rock.
"Florian" stated that the animal got out of sight before any more photos could be taken.

Here is a zoom on the subject.

The creature does appear kind of odd looking almost like it has a head like a wolf.
I personally think that this is noting more than a bear but would be interested to hear what others have to say.

Thanks
Tom

It is one of the greatest mysteries of the deep, and its legend has outfoxed score of investigators over the generations.
Stories, pictures and rumors about a monster living below the surface of Scotland's deepest loch go back for decades.
But it is now hoped this grainy image of a long ‘serpent-like creature’ may finally unlock the mystery of the Loch Ness Monster.

The sonar picture, that shows a large unidentified living object deep underwater, was recorded by Loch Ness boat skipper Marcus Atkinson.
The mysterious being was recorded at a depth of 75ft in the murky water and measured nearly 5ft wide.
Mr Atkinson’s sonar fish-finder device records the width of objects in the depths directly below his tourist boat every quarter of a second.
Image produced when his vessel was in the Loch's Urquhart Bay showed a long moving object that had followed the boat for more than two minutes.

Mr. Atkinson said "'There is nothing that big in the Loch. I was in shock as it looked like a big serpent, it’s amazing. You can’t fake a sonar image. I have never seen anything returned like this on the fish finder."

This latest trail cam photo of Bigfoot taken by a person who chose not to reveal himself was handed over to a blogger named Melissa Hovey. Melissa "struggled" with releasing the photo to the Bigfoot community as she made a promise to the person that he can trust her.
The American Bigfoot Society holds the copyright for this image for any and all purposes.

Permission granted to reproduce for educational use only. Commercial copying, hiring, lending is strictly prohibited.

The American Bigfoot Society takes no particular stance on whether this is a photo of a Bigfoot or not. In other words, we do not know if this is in fact a Bigfoot or a hoax. The American Bigfoot Society has contacted and has allowed various professionals, in a number of fields, to view the photo in order to assess any information that may be contained within this photograph. While the American Bigfoot Society has the responsibility to protect their witnesses and any information we may have about them, the American Bigfoot Society also has the responsibility of exposing any photo, or evidence, which may lead to hoaxing. The American Bigfoot Society has NO information that this is in fact a hoax. We feel this photo can be released, analyzed and discussed without disclosing any information about the witness, thereby keeping our promise of confidentiality of our witnesses.

 Information about the photo:

This witness asked for my (Melissa Hovey) help in seeking protection for what he/she claimed was a Bigfoot that had been coming onto his/her property.

The witness broke contact after becoming concerned for his/her privacy and the safety of the animal. He/she was concerned people would discover who he/she is and that he/she would be called, “crazy”. The witness also expressed concern that if his/her identity were discovered the alleged animal would be in danger of being killed.

The witness expressed in multiple emails that his/her interest was in protection of the alleged animal and not financial gain.

The witness stated this is one game cam photo in a series of photos.

The witness denies any form of manipulation to this photo, other than cropping the image.

TCC -  So what does everyone think about this photo? looks pretty good as far as I can tell...will get a better look at it a little later.

Setting a Game Camera
TRAIL CAMS

Things to consider when selecting a trail camera.

1)  Try selecting a camera with a higher mega pixel rating. An 8 MP camera will take considerably better images than a camera with a 2 MP rating.
2)  Camera range can be anywhere from 20 feet to 50 feet. This is the maximum range in which the sensor in the sensor in the camera will detect motion or heat. This is also the maximum range for flash.
3)  Cameras can also have a delay period from 1 min to 15 sec. This delay period is the amount of time from which the sensor detects a recordable event and an image is captured.
4)  Trail cams also come with either an incandescent or infrared flash. Ranges  in incandescent units are normally lower than infrared, but take color images at night were infrared images appear black and white at night.

Once you have selected your camera, be sure to program and test your camera before heading to the field. Be sure to set time, date, and delay periods. Now test fire your camera by
walking in front of it at the correct range to insure proper operation. You can insert the SD card in a digital camera to check the image.

Now that you have tested your camera, its time to locate a field location suitable. Be sure to select a location that has fresh sign for your intended target. Heavily used game trails are a good choice, especially trails in a funnel down location, or intersecting game trails.

Once a site is chosen, locate a sturdy, large diameter tree that will not be blown around in the wind, as this movement will trigger the camera, it is also recommended that your camera face either north or south if possible, as the rising and setting sun can also trigger your camera. You may also want to position your camera at a slight angle to the game trail, as many cameras will not detect motion  moving directly toward or away from the camera as easily as motion moving across the sensor at an angle. Remember to keep the target area within the range of your camera, the camera should be positioned about 1-2 feet higher than your target will be tall, and placed at a slight downward angle, and make sure the camera is securely attached to the tree, as most wildlife will be curious about your camera.

Photographer Neil Sandbach was taking pictures around a farm in Hertfordshire, England, when he captured this astounding picture. When Sandbach looked at the digital photo later, he couldn't believe his eyes; he was certain that he had not overlooked a child hanging around the farm that day.

He later asked the farm owners if they'd ever had any supernatural experiences there (he did not tell them about the photo), and the owners confirmed that they had witnessed the specter of a boy in white night clothes many times before.

In 1966, retired clergyman Rev. Ralph Hardy was taking a picture of the spiral staircase (known as the "Tulip Staircase") in the Queen's House section of the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, England, when he captured this image. Experts analyzed the original negative and verified that it had not been tampered with or manipulated in any way.

This photo served as proof that the many ghostly encounters at the Queen's House were real. Footsteps, slamming doors, and the chanting voices of children are often heard around the staircase. Visitors to the museum have even been pinched by unseen fingers during their tour!

Full-body apparitions have been seen on many occasions; one such apparition appears to be mopping up blood from the bottom of the stairs. Historians say that 300 years ago, a maid was thrown from the top of the stairs and fell 50 feet to her death, which might explain the ghostly clean-up crew.

The Fire Girl
Taken November 19, 1995 by Tony O’Rahilly

As the Wem Town Hall in Shropshire, England burned to the ground, local residents took photos of the wreckage from across the street.

Tony O’Rahilly utilized a 200mm telephoto lens to snap this photo of a small girl framed in the doorway. None of the other onlookers or fire fighters working the scene remember seeing a little girl, and there would be no reason for her to be in the dangerous shell of the burnt out building.

Dr. Vernon Harrison later examined the photo and it’s negative and determined that it was genuine. Further investigation into the young girl’s identity uncovered records of a child named Jane Churm who passed away in 1677 in northern Shropshire after lighting fire to a thatched roof with a candle.

Madonna of Bachelor’s Grove
Taken on August 10, 1991 by Mari Huff

Mari Huff of the “Ghost Research Society” took this photo during an investigation of of Bachelor’s Grove cemetery near Chicago. The photo was snapped in an area where the group’s equipment had been acting strangely.

The small, abandoned cemetery was empty except for the paranormal investigation team, and yet when the film was developed this image of a young woman materialized.

Bachelor’s Grove cemetery is considered to be one of America’s most haunted places, and is known for hundreds of paranormal incidents (including full body apparitions).
