Kootenay Plains Sightings

In 1968 a group of Native Americans traveled to the Kootenay Plains on the North Saskatchewan River and began to set up camp in tents and teepees. This was to be their new home, away from the modern influences, to embrace the life of their ancestors. And then entered an unforeseen neighbor. The hairy giants of their ancestors' legends. The creatures didn't cause the people any trouble. There were chance sightings and brief contact but nothing disturbing.

One man was out cutting brush when he looked up to find one of the hair-covered creatures watching him as he worked. "I didn't know what to do, so I just went on chopping wood." After a while, the creature continued on its way, leaving the man alone.

Possible Bigfoot Tracks and More Found!

As many of you know this is the time of year that I spend a lot of time in the woods hunting ginseng. This gets me into areas I normally do not go. Even in areas I frequent, during ginseng season I get into spots I have never been before.

It also seems that I find some type of possible bigfoot evidence each year during ginseng season. 
I had not found anything this year until today. I made a short video and offered some commentary about the findings.

Two Alien Entities Photographed?

Take a close look at this rather remarkable photograph, these are real extra-terrestrial entities that were captured high above the town, floating stationary in their anti-gravitational craft.
I photographed them with my camera which was a Sony HX-300 if I'm not mistaken. The alien to the right was looking out from a large window and seemed totally unaware that I was observing it through the viewfinder of my camera. Then suddenly a small reptilian alien put its head around the side of a wall inside the craft like it could somehow telepathically sense me watching them from a safe distance.

Black Mountain Bigfoot


Black Mountain Bigfoot

Black Mountain is the highest mountain peak in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. It stands a whopping  4,145 feet above mean sea level and has a top-to-bottom height of over 2,500 feet. The massive mountain towers above the towns of Lynch, Kentucky, and Appalachia, Virginia. 

There is also a Federal Aviation Administration radar dome on the mountain. There are also multiple radio towers, along with transmitter buildings, around the summit

Much of the mountain is unoccupied, very isolated, and very mysterious. There have been many reports from this area of everything from UFOs to Ghosts to Black Panthers and yes, to Bigfoot.

After about 2 weeks of downtime, I was finally able to get back out in the woods. It was a short but productive trip. I normally go out every week but due to hard rain, I was forced to miss the previous week's outing.

On this particular day, I cut my trip short due to the fact I had a lot of work I needed to do.

Maryland, My Maryland Bigfoot Has Come To Call

During the 1970s there was a series of apparent sightings of bigfoot in the Whitemarsh area northeast of Baltimore. These took place in the swamps around the Byrd River. Here are a few of those reports.

Richard and Elva Stewart were out cutting brush near a grove of trees when they heard breaking branches. As they stopped to listen, they grew aware of a 'swamp gas' like odor. That was when they saw the creature. It stood about 8 ft. tall and had big red eyes. When it saw them looking at him, it ran away.

Arches

Arches are a part of the highly discussed and highly controversial subject of structures and what they are and what they mean in the never-ending debate over bigfoot.

Through the ages mankind has found ways to make arches -- incorporating them into buildings, walls, roads, bridges, aqueducts, etc.  And we love arches. We see the beauty of them along with their practicality in a building.

We admire arches made by nature, the stone and rock formations, the plants, and the trees.
And we adore the arches allegedly made by Bigfoot while we ponder what they mean.

Did you know that there is a very long history of what is called "Phantom Kangaroo" sightings? I know it may seem a bit unusual for a kangaroo to fall into the cryptid category but some of these reports are very odd and mysterious. 

Phantom kangaroo reports are reports or sightings of kangaroos, wallabies, or footprints of these animals in areas where there is no known population. In other words, they are seen in places where there is no history of them or in places they should not be. An out-of-place animal if you will.

Field Research - 7/6/23

I took another morning and got out in one of my bigfoot research areas. This year I feel like I lost a lot of potential time in the woods due to being sick with double pneumonia and because I had to re-upload all of our Youtube videos to the new channel. I know there is still a lot of time left in this year, but I don't think I can make up for lost time but I can keep getting out there every chance I can.

I started out fairly early this morning and was in the woods before 9am. The day was kind of a strange, and not in a good way, day but I soldiered on. From knocking a dent in my truck to almost stepping on a copperhead, it was an interesting day.

I finally got a chance to get back in the woods and scout around for some signs of Bigfoot.
I've had a lot going on in the last couple of weeks but the main issue was that we got rain for 8 or 9 days in a roll. Sometimes I still go out when it is raining, but as many of you know, it's not been that long since I had double pneumonia. 

On this trip, I went to my gifting area and picked up a game camera. I do a lot of reflecting about this area and the many years I have researched it.

Bigfoot at Quantico Marine Base

There is much talk concerning what the military knows about bigfoot. Here's one story that caught my eye.

This was reported in the Potomac News on January 17, 1977, where they published a long article about the incidents.

"Much had been written about the monster at the ammunition storage area at Quantico Marine Corps Base..." but yet the paper did not print much. I assume that they were also referring to the reports made by civilians in the surrounding areas of the base.

It is said that there have been reports of a creature in and around the base going back at least 50 years. (which has been designated at "The ASA Monster" -- ammunition storage area -- by the base officials). While there may be many people and much activity on most of the base, it is worth noting that if you look across Rt. 1, you see the Prince William State Forest.

First of all, let me start off by saying this is not a joke, this is a genuine sighting report.

It was half past two in the morning and it was completely silent. I was in the bathroom cleaning my teeth, getting ready for bed, when suddenly I heard the letterbox lift up and violently slam as though someone had purposely done this to get my attention. 

Usually, when it is very windy the letterbox will bang and clutter, but never this loud. Besides, it was completely calm outside with no wind at all, so I found it rather strange and quite perplexing that it had slammed like that. I quickly finished off and rinsed my mouth, placed my toothbrush down on the side, and then quickly went downstairs to look out the hallway window and see if there was anyone outside mucking around at this ungodly hour of the morning.

More Swimming Sasquatch

We can't resist sharing more stories of bigfoot and water. This is an aspect of the creature that makes so much sense and many don't consider it. But then again, many do. These stories are for you.

Bob Titmus happened to be in the Butedale area of British Columbia bigfoot hunting by boat out of Klemtu when he heard about this alleged sighting in July 1965. The shore worker who reported the encounter enjoyed recreational fishing and was lucky enough to have his own outboard boat. His friend also had a boat and the two of them usually met and went out together. On this particular day, the friend wasn't able to leave as early as the shore worker, so they decided to each take their own boat and meet later.

The island is a large one that faces the mainland across a narrow channel of the inside passage. There is also a small island near the mainland shore in front of the village where the two men liked to fish on the far side of the small island.

Time for another Mountain Monsters bigfoot. This one comes from season four. The Stonish Giant of Hamilton County, Ohio.

Once again the AIMS team plunged into Native American legends to find a name for a bigfoot to hunt. There are many stories of giants, hairy men, giant hairy men, and other various hair-covered creatures in Native legends. The Stonish Giant, as far as I can tell, is a legend of giant men and not necessarily hair covered.

There are similar stories of Stonish Giants told in several different tribes. A common theme is they were an ancient tribe that lived in the wilderness. It is said that they would roll in the mud or sand, covering their bodies. They would then let it dry, forming a second skin on them, making them resemble stone. And so the name, Stonish Giants.

Memorial Day Footage - More Details

On May 26, 1996, Owen Pate, his wife, and five friends had a strange encounter while on a camping trip.

Actually, the Pate's sighting was not the only report of seeing a bigfoot that month. The first sighting was a few days before the 26th when a fisherman was sitting, eating his lunch. He had the feeling of being watched. Looking up he could see something in the distance that appeared to be looking his way. He grabbed his binoculars for a better view. Watching him at his lunch was a large hairy creature. He estimated it to be around 7 ft tall.

The second sighting was the one that involved the Pates. A woman saw a figure running down the mountainside and watched it as it disappeared into the trees at the bottom. She called Owen Pate and told him what she had seen. When he got there, the creature emerged from the bushes at the fence line. The fence was 5 ft high. He estimated the creature to be around 6 1/2 to 7 ft tall and very wide at the shoulders.

This is an old breakdown/Enhancement I did way back in 2011. For some reason I either never made a post on the website about it or it was posted for some unknown reason. I have always thought the video was pretty interesting.

Here is what little we know about the video.
The family said they did not see the creature until they viewed the video later. They wondered if the helicopter was searching for Bigfoot. I don't think it was but who knows for sure. The video shows a creature moving left to right in the background after a gun is fired. I have slowed and zoomed in on the subject.

NEW Youtube Channel!


NEW Youtube Channel!

For those who may not know, we lost our Youtube Channel (Cryptowatch) due to a bogus trademark complaint. We were given no warning and no opportunity to change the name or anything. Youtube just deleted the channel and over 10 years of videos and work, no questions asked.

There is a video, Click here, where I tell more details about what happened. We were actually using the name years before these other folks trademarked the name, so we had a legal right to use it. 

In all, we lost over 500 videos. Many of which were embedded in our website posts. I have been working like mad to get the videos back online and to fix posts. I still have a long way to go but I now have over 200 of the videos back online and on our NEW youtube channel.

Season 1 of Almost Live had a 10th episode that was, until now, only available on Amazon and maybe a couple of other places. But now I have made it available for everyone to watch. It was the final episode of the season and where I first revealed the upcoming season 2.

The season finale! It's the final trip of the year to retrieve the last of the game cameras. It is a lovely fall day and the animals are moving about. Faking It with a Gorilla Suit

There is a lot of talk in the community about faking videos of bigfoot by renting or buying a gorilla or monkey suit and parading around in front of a camera. Well, let's see what someone who tried such a stunt has to say about it.

To set the scene, The Memorial Day Footage was filmed back in May 1996 by the Pate family in the Paysaten Wilderness area, Washington state. A track star was brought in to run the route that the alleged bigfoot traveled. The track star was found to be both larger and faster than the creature in the original video. Many declared the film a hoax.

There seems to be a wave of UFO activity in the southeastern Kentucky area. Yesterday, we reported 2 sightings of UFOs from the area and spoke of a third. If you missed that post, you can find it by clicking Here.

There seems to be a rash of UFOs sightings taking place in Harlan County Kentucky the last couple of days. I have spoken with two separate witnesses and looked at their photographs. As I was writing this I just saw a third sighting today in Harlan county, but I have not contacted or spoken to that person. 

What follows below are pictures and the account of the two witnesses I have spoken with.

The first thing you probably need to know is that our Youtube Channel, CRYPTOWATCH, was terminated by Youtube without warning or concern. This was NOT for any kind of copyright violation for videos. At the time we had ZERO copyright strikes on our account.

We got hit with a trademark violation, but there is more to the story.

One of my favorite stories.

A man reported that back in 1947, he and his wife were driving down Highway 99, south of Shasta, California, coming from San Francisco. It was spring and in the afternoon. Back in 1947, this road was not a super highway.

As his car rounded a curve in the road, he saw a tall object beside the blacktop. Thinking this may be a post announcing part of the road being washed out, he slowed to a stop to look things over. Neither he nor his wife could see anything wrong with the road. Just as he was ready to continue down the road, the "post" stepped out into the middle of the blacktop. It started to cross but then angled its path to approach the car.

Kathmandu regulations on hunting a Yeti. It came up in a discussion. So here is the rest of the story.

This appears to have first surfaced with the Tom Slick expedition into Nepal for the search for evidence of the yeti. The Russians were screaming it was a U.S. government spy expedition and that we were trying to find the yeti in order to
find information for use by our military. (That is another story for another time. Way too long to go into right now.)

Redwoods Footage - A closer Look

Several days ago we posted a story about the famous Redwood Footage/The Playboy Footage and I thought I would take a closer look at the video.

I had never really looked at the footage very much and I had never attempted to gather more information from the video. This post will probably be kind of short and will include a short video I did of the footage. I attempted to bring out some detail on the figure but the footage quality is pretty poor.
