Reports that John "Trapper" Tice of  Mountain Monsters fame and Co-founder and leader of A.I.M.S has passed away due to complications  kidney failure.

Tice was born in 1947 in West Virginia He was a true American outdoorsman and Vietnam war veteran.

Tice had started havign some health issues back in 2015 when he had to undergo an emergency surgery for a blood clot in his leg. It is our understanding that this and other health issues lead to kidney problems.

Tice of course was known for his role in the popular TV show Mountain Monsters. His show was somewhat of a rival to the popular series Finding Bigfoot. There was an online feud of sorts between Tice and Finding Bigfoot show leader Matt Moneymaker.
A few days ago I had a report submitted of a possible bigfoot sighting in Story county, Iowa. The report was rather vague of a lot of details, so I attempted to gather more information. I send a email to the person but never got a reply. My guess is that my questions email went into their spam folder and they never saw it. After some more research on the origins of the report, I found it comes from a creditable source and wanted to share it.

Here is the report

The Hawkesbury River Monster

Mysterious water monsters are not unusual. The Loch Ness Monster and Lake Champlain’s Champ are just two creatures belonging to this fascinating class of cryptid. However, New South Wales, Australia has its own resident water creature, known as the Hawkesbury River Monster.

Whoa,.... this is a big episode! In this episode Big Jim reveals more details about the military man who shot a bigfoot type creature. Then its on to other topics that include Dogman, Unicorns, UFOs, JFK, psychics and more!
This is a long VIDEO version of Ninja of the Woods that is packed with a lot of information, stories and opinions.

The Legend Of J.C.Brown

I was on my computer the other day when I came across a video about Mt. Shasta in California. It caught my curiosity, so I watched the video . The video was about a man named J.C. Brown. In 1904, Brown claimed, while working for the Lord Cowdray Mining Company out of New England as a geologist, he was sent to Mt. Shasta to do work for Lord Cowdray.

While exploring the old Lava bed tunnels he came across a hidden village 11 miles down in the mountain and the halls and rooms were lined with gold. He told all these wonderful things to a Journalist in New York city and it soon caught the attention of some wealthy persons, some who were Scientist, Lawyers, Policemen and even a Judge.

Back in October of 2015 I published an article called The Legend of Devils Garden. Devil's Garden is/was located in Hutch, Kentucky and for many years it was a popular swimming area. The Legend surrounding how the area got its name is one that seemed to be full of mystery and death. As I was researching the original article I could not find a lot of information. Then I stumbled across several websites that told the tale of accidental murder, a cover up, strange disappearances and finally after 15 years, a confession.

There appears to be only one problem with this legendary tale, its just not true. I do not know where this fantastic tale originated or who started it, but it was an interesting story. At the time I had doubts about the authenticity of the story but it seemed believable just unverifiable and after all I read it on the internet so it had to be true, right?

I'm pleased to now be able to set the record straight and bring you the REAL story about Devil's Garden. It may not be filled with murder and mystery, but it is still very interesting.

Many cultures have a belief in shapeshifting in some form. Shapeshifting is the ability of a being or creature to completely transform its physical form or shape. The Aswang reportedly has the ability to combine various elements from different creatures.

In this episode of The Crypto Files, we take a look at the Aswang and explore some of the characteristics and behavior of this cryptid.

Here is the episode (ep. 25)

Aswangs can also be befriended, they can talk to you like any other human: they laugh and/or cry, get angry/sad, get hurt/humiliated and feel scared and envious. These creatures are said not harm their friends and neighbors.

In the video we mentioned a few ways to fend off an aswang but here are a few more.
They can be killed using a whip made entirely of a stingray's tail. It is said they can not enter into holy grounds such as churches, mosques, and temples. Decapitation is also a way to destroy an aswang.

Thanks
~Tom~
