Re-creation of sighting, not an actual photograph.

Bigfoot Sighting in Perry County

I recently received another Kentucky bigfoot sighting report. I was contacted by Jason on Facebook messenger and he wanted to tell me about a bigfoot sighting and encounter he had in Perry county Kentucky.

Perry county has a total area of 343 square miles, much of which is lush green mountains. The Daniel Boone National forest also stretches into Perry county. In other words, Perry county is an idea place for a creature such as Bigfoot. It has lots of forest land and a small mostly concentrated population.

Here are the details of the sighting and the messages between Jason and myself.

Paranormal wizard Tony Felosi was back on the Murder123 podcast with Dr.John Stamey and Robin McCray. They take a look at the highest profile murder case of the century - Jeffrey Epstein and discuss some of the mysterious details surrounding it.
Another special guest is Dr. Tray Dunaway, he is a surgeon and pathologist, he will weigh in on the Epstein case.

Later in the program Tony Felosi joins them for "The Cell Block" segment with EVPs of the Manso Shepard murder case. Tony will be a regular contributor for the podcast and we want to share this aspect of our research with everyone.

While most of you know we research numerous cryptids and general weirdness, we also dive into unsolved murders, historical events, and missing person cases, just to name a few. It has not been very long ago I was personally contacted to search for a missing woman. The people knew I know the mountains very well in our area and reach out to me. We have not shared very much of this aspect of our team, but we hope to start adding some of this in the future.

An Artist On The Fringes

An Interview With Paleo and Paranormal/Crypto Artist Warren Port

By
Dorraine Fisher

Most artists we encounter seem to have a particular genre that they stick to that we can easily recognize when they present new works. But Warren Port is different. Having known Warren for a while now, I know he’s very multi-faceted and has had some interesting experiences. And his art more than reflects that as it twists and turns gracefully from precise anatomical and paleo sketches to aliens or bigfoot to the more mysterious “fringe” aspects of the universe.

His art goes in many directions and he makes no apologies for sketching whatever subject speaks to him in any given moment. And he makes no apologies for his unconventional life experiences that inspire these works.

His art is only limited by how far his mind can reach, which, so far, hasn’t found its limit.

Mysterious Lights Spotted Offshore In Hawaii-What Is This?

By Dorraine Fisher

We often think that if we see strange things at night, there must be some logical explanation for them. And quite often there is. And there are always varying opinions on the subject, so, as far as UFO’s are concerned, I always try to ask those with experience in the military to put things in their logical perspective.

Recently a Youtube channel known as thirdphaseofthemoon, based out of Hawaii posted some footage they captured offshore late one night with night vision equipment. I readily admit I know nothing about these guys, but the footage is intriguing. One person commented that it was a search and rescue mission because some claims had been made locally that they had been searching for a kayaker that had disappeared there in the previous days. But as I watched this mostly invisible “craft” with a bright light shining down into the water in almost the same small area for an extended period of time, I started doubting that story. If it was search and rescue, wouldn’t they be scanning the whole area?

Standing Figure On the Side Of the Road

I got in the following report and video a few days ago. The person sending this to me wants to remain anonymous. While he has some activity near him, his message was concerning what another person had filmed. It is rare that a "caught on camera" video is sent to us but this one is pretty interesting.

Here is what he told me about the video.

"I had a co-worker share this video with me at work today and she said her girlfriend filmed this on HWY 63 in the valley around 2:30-3:00am, it was a few weeks ago she said.
She was driving home from her boyfriend's house and she mentioned near a dollar store. I don't know if it is the one nearer Harrogate or in Speedwell. She said the girl passed this thing and saw it and turned around, saw it again and turned around and the last time turned her cell phone on to record.  She didn't know what to make of it, but said each time it was on two legs."

Are We Being Unfair To Flat-Earthers?
Taking A Closer Look At How We Perceive The “Truth”

By Dorraine Fisher

Did we as a society create the flat-earth theory? Maybe.

I can see it now. People reading this headline and instantly thinking that Dorraine Fisher and The Crypto Crew advocate for the Flat Earth Theory. But although we believe in the possibilities of many things as purveyors of cryptozoology and the paranormal, we are not purveyors of Flat-Earth Theory. But it’s a topic worth exploring, and I’ll tell you why. Flat Earth Theory is a catalyst for a conversation that needs to take place that really has nothing to do with the earth being flat. Or maybe it does. I guess you can decide. But this is just a world of ideas and we’re all caught up in the storm of them all.

Paranormal investigator Tony Felosi joins Dr. John Stamey, Devin Tait and guest host Robin McCray to discuss the story of Manzo Shepherd and the events that spawned one of the most infamous trials in Harlan County, Kentucky history.

Taking place on  Black Mountain at 4,145 feet (the tallest peak in Kentucky) in late April 1942, cab driver Joe Christian was brutally murdered by Shepherd and his two friends.

Within one month of the murder, Shepherd would be shot in a crowded courtroom of 300 people and his accomplices, Sherman Clouse and Howard Hensley, would both eventually get life sentences to avoid the death penalty.

Bigfoot: The Question of Migration
By Dorraine Fisher

Many bigfoot researchers claim there is a season in which bigfoot activity occurs in their research areas and other times of the year when they find little to no evidence of activity at all. But these claims seem to be inconsistent. And the inconsistency often seems to depend on where the researcher’s area is located. So, do bigfoot migrate or not? Those researchers known to the community as habituators, or those who claim bigfoot lives near or around their homes continuously, will tell you they definitely don’t migrate. They observe activity all year long on their properties and sometimes make the claim they interact with them personally with no large time lapses in between encounters.  So the answer to this question may be a resounding yes...and no, depending on the researcher you ask.

Its not very often that we get Dogman sighting reports submitted to us, but we recently did get a report. The report was sent in to us by Violet and the sighting happened right here in Kentucky.
There are some interesting details in the story that lends to the idea that Dogman is a rather aggressive creature.

According to reports, Dogman has been spotted in 38 of 50 US states. It is often reported to have aggressive behavior but attacks are rare. According to Dogman researcher Vic Cundiff, "Less than 1% of the eyewitnesses who have shared their encounters with me claimed to have been attacked by the Dogman they encountered."

What follows is the message/report sent to me via Facebook Messenger and my replies.

A friend of mine recently told me about a fossil he had found here in Southeast Kentucky. He brought the item to my house a couple days later for me to have a look at and take some pictures. This appears to be the fossilized horn of some sort.

It was found near an old strip mine road and the thought was that it may have washed out during a rain storm but that was something unclear.

Here is a close up picture and some more details.

A Very Large and Curious Rat

I recently posted a video of two black bears fighting it out in the woods. But that was not all I caught on my game camera that was pretty interesting. While game cameras seem to have a very hard time capturing Bigfoot, they do from time to time capture some unique moments of known wildlife.

Game cameras can provide us a look at wildlife behavior that we rarely, if ever, get to see. These cameras also let us know what type of animals are visiting our area. So, while we may not catch a bigfoot very often, they are still useful and fun tools to use during research.

The next video I want to share with everyone is of a very large and curious rat, sometimes these are called mountain rats by locals. In the video, you will see this big fella climbing on a tree next to the game camera. The rat later jumps to the tree the game cam is on and his curious nature gets the best of him as he starts smacking the lock that is on the game cam. This particular game cam, a Browning, not only records video but also sound. While you can't see the rat playing with the lock, you sure can hear it.

BLACK MOUNTAIN'S HEADLESS ANNIE
by
Jennifer McDaniels

It was just a coon hunting trip. Some of my distant relatives (I prefer not to publicly say their names because what happened to them was bone-chilling and disturbing, not to mention they fear being scoffed) ......these distant relatives of mine decided to go coon hunting on Big Black Mountain one August night when the air was thick with humidity and ghostly mist. I was just a child in the mid 80's, and I remember sitting in the back of my Daddy's blue Chevy truck as my distant family (all men) were taking inventory of their equipment for the all-night excursion upon the state's highest peak.

They tried to talk my Daddy into joining them, and although he was an avid coon hunter himself, something just "didn't set right" with him. He told the men "I don't reckon I want to be up on that mountain in the middle of the night." Once they were satisfied they had all the equipment they needed, they piled in their truck and sped up KY 522 toward the Tri-Cities where Big Black Mountain towers over the old coal mining towns of Lynch and Benham, as well as Cumberland, which was more of a municipality for commerce.

I went on to bed that night, saying my prayers for the poor, defenseless coons (that's just the kind of child I was) and never gave the hunting trip another thought. In fact, it wasn't until months later that I overheard another family member relay to my mother the events of that horrific night experienced by my coon-hunting distant relatives upon Big Black Mountain.
