The
“Monster” Of Wantage, New Jersey

I’m always amused when authorities claim that sasquatch sightings most certainly must have been bears. But residents of the Sites farm in Wantage, New Jersey who came within 25 feet of a creature on their property one night in 1977 said what they saw was “something else.”
The
family had been terrorized by something invading their farm for nearly a week
On May 12, 1977 at approximately 10:00 at night.
Barbara
Sites claimed to have heard nothing on her farm on a Tuesday night. But the
next morning, when she went out to let the family’s dairy cows out to pasture,
she heard a noise in the distance like a woman screaming like she was being
killed. And the cows seemed reluctant to move.
She
walked around the farm to investigate only to find a heavy garage door torn
from its hinges. And when she checked her rabbit cages, she found several
rabbits dead or dying from massive wounds.
Two
of her rabbits were missing and the others had their heads or legs torn from
their bodies. She claimed she found no evidence that the animals had been used
for food. And there was very little blood around in spite of the nature of the
animals’ wounds.
A
couple of nights later around 9:30, she heard their dog barking outside. Mrs.
Sites and her daughter looked out the window and saw a large figure in the dark
standing by the rabbit pens.
Along
with a few friends and relatives, they ran outside only to see “a big shadow,” with a head
“as high as the eaves.” But it ran
off in the direction of an apple orchard when the Sites’s daughter screamed.
On the following night the family was waiting
with rifles and shotguns. The creature appeared again as it had before, quietly
under the low lights of the barnyard. They fired more than 30 rounds in its
direction.
Richard
Sites described the incident to a local newspaper reporter as he pointed toward
an old chicken coop on the property. “At first, all I saw were these two red
eyes staring at me from over there,” he said. “The monster ran into the coop,
then emerged from the window at the opposite end.” He had his hands up in the
air and I fired again. I thought he was coming at me.”
But the creature escaped again through the apple orchard.

They
described the creature as being around seven feet tall, covered with hair, a
beard and mustache, and it walked on its hind legs.
The
Sites family, scared to death, decided to keep the story quiet as they didn’t
want attention seekers invading their property, but later, out of fear and
frustration with the local authorities not being helpful, they eventually gave
in and told the story to reporters.
The
police maintained the Sites farm had been invaded by a hungry bear.

Baby Bigfoot in Tree - Enhancement
I have attempted to enhance the William Evans video "baby bf in Craw of Tree".
Mr. Evans reportedly shot the video in Northern California back in 2007.
It was also stated that there are up to 4 bigfoots in the video, 2 of which are almost impossible to see.
It is also reported that Evans filmed this while holding the camera at his waist and it took a long time for the bigfoot to let him get this close.

The
Ape Canyon Incident

Of
all the documented sasquatch attacks, the Ape Canyon incident of 1924 was one
of the most notable and frightening in history.
In
mid-July of that year, Fred Beck and a group of four men were gold prospecting
in Ape Canyon, Mt. St. Helen’s Washington in the Lewis River area, when they
began to notice evidence of “visitors” around their cabin. Some very large
human-like footprints were discovered and they had been hearing noises at night
around the area. They claimed to have heard thumping noises that sounded like
chest-thumping. And one said they heard a strange high-pitched whistling sound
on one ridge above them, only to hear another whistle on the opposite ridge.
When
Beck and another of the men went down to a nearby spring for water, they caught
sight of a large, ape-like creature staring at them from behind a large pine
tree. It was said to be very dark brown in color and they estimated it to be
about 7 feet tall. It ducked behind the tree and then poked its head out to
watch them again. As the story goes, one of the men raised his rifle and took a
shot at the creature and believed he grazed it’s head. But it ran away and
ducked out of sight.
Beck
claimed to have seen another one as it stood along a canyon wall. He said he
shot it in the back, and watched it fall into a gorge.
The
men may have thought the incident was over, but they nonetheless planned to
leave the area the next morning just in case. So they hunkered down that night
with their rifles at hand. As darkness
fell and the men were tucked away inside their cabin all was quiet.
But
they were later awakened by an enormous thud against the cabin wall and some
chinking from between the logs fell into one of the men’s laps. They all
grabbed their rifles. A loud rustling was heard outside along with the
trampling of large, heavy feet. One of
the men peered outside from between the logs. He caught sight of what he believed
to be three creatures, but from the sounds they heard, they believed there were
many more.
The
creatures were pounding on the walls and door of the cabin, and throwing rocks
onto the roof in an attempt to break the break it open. And frighteningly, one
of the creatures stuck its arm through the hole where the chinking had fallen
and attempted to grab an ax without success.
And, luckily for these men, they had built the cabin sturdily for winter
and it had no windows. The creatures were unable to break in.
The
attack continued throughout the long night with only short intervals of quiet.
And the men claimed they shot at them only when they were being attacked, and
they stopped shooting when it got quiet, hoping the creatures would soon learn
the shooting would stop when the attack stopped.
After
about five hours of assault, the creatures finally gave up in the early morning
hours. At daylight, the men finally went outside only to find a strip of wood
torn from between two logs of the cabin and numerous large footprints all
around. They left the area quickly, leaving much of their equipment behind.
Later
the men agreed not to tell the story to anyone, but one of the men leaked the
story and the press got wind of it. Then others began hunting around the area
for the apes. It was called The Great Ape Hunt of 1924. The men were later
interviewed by many reporters, but the story came into question since only
tracks were found and no bodies of the creatures they had killed. Many came to believe it had been a hoax. But
Beck continually swore to the truth of his story.
The
canyon is said to have been named Ape Canyon after this incident took place.

relative of American presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Nobody can explain the
relationship of Agnes with the pub where she is reported to have been

Agnes was the first cousin of George Romney, a famous Kendal painter, and is believed to have a brother who is Mitt Romney’s great great grandfather. According to Hennie Kuger, Kendal’s assistant manager, the ghost is a ghoul from the early 19th century who was hanging around her old house. Hennie thought that Agnes would stop from appearing after the renovation at the hostelry but she still makes appearances up to now.
Moreover, Hennie, who is now 32 years old, stated that he started believing in ghosts because of sightings of Agnes who he described as a little old woman based on the reflection that he saw. He thinks that Agnes just hangs around her old home. He also shared that Agnes usually opens drawers or slams the door, make footsteps or some creaking.

Interesting video of a possible ghost outside of a grocery store in Chivilcoy, Argentina. This was recorded earlier this year (in 2012).
A dark shadowy figure is seen several times in the video.
Is it really a ghost or a hoax? I don't know but it's a great video.

Humans Killed By Bigfoot?
A Campground Incident In Bishop, California

We rarely hear of people being killed by sasquatches, but this second-hand account of an event in Bishop, California is worth a note.
Reported by the late Rich Graumley, a researcher for the CBFO, the California Bigfoot Organization, he was talking with a bulldozer operator in 1981 who had also hunted in the area, and he brought up the subject of Bigfoot.
Graumley reported that the man told him a story from the mid 70’s in which he had been poaching in the area (with permission from the Forestry Service) in a gated area near Bishop in an area there known as Four Points.

The Erickson Project

The
Erickson Project, an investigation project into the existence of the creature
commonly known as Bigfoot or Sasquatch, was started in 2005 by Adrian Erickson.
It was the first long-term project to attempt to prove the existence of these
creatures once and for all. It serves to take into account thousands of
sightings around North America, give credence to those who were brave enough to
report them, to get the scientific community involved in the search, and bring
awareness to the public.
Erickson
had his first encounter with the creature at seven years of age near his home
in British Columbia in 1959, and several subsequent sightings thereafter. He
was finally motivated to found the project when a sasquatch crossed the road in
front of him in the Canadian Rockies in 2001.
The
project has continued its quest for proof ever since, offering all kinds of
evidence to the scientific community before realizing that only DNA evidence
would be its ticket to mainstream science.

The powerful storm knocked over many tress but underneath one historic oak tree a human skeleton was found.
Katie Carbo was the one who alerted the police after she spotted the skull in the roots of the fallen oak.
The skull was positioned upside down with its mouth open, still connected to the spine and rib cage. Investigators headed to the scene at the New Haven Green, a 16-acre park.
Some believe the skeleton is likely that of a victim of smallpox or yellow fever who may have been buried between 1799 and 1821.
New Haven Green park was once a cemetery that was moved to Green Street Cemetery,but it appears that only the headstones were moved and the bodies remained at the original relocation.
The now blown over Oak tree was planted in 1909 in honor of President Abraham Lincoln.
Another scary sight caused by hurricane Sandy took place in Maryland, when coffins were raised out of their graves. The force of the water caused the coffins to raise making for scary scene on Halloween.

I
believe it was Einstein that described the definition of insanity as doing the
same thing over and over again, but expecting a different result. So sometimes,
when we keep doing something the same way time and again and aren’t getting
what we want, we need to simply try it another way.
With
the invention and availability of trail cameras in the last twenty years or so,
bigfoot researchers have set them up everywhere they could, and have managed to
get all kinds of great shots of all the wildlife in the woods. All of it, of
course, except for bigfoot...the stuff we’re REALLY looking for.
One
of the biggest questions about the existence of bigfoot is why, with all the
strategically placed trail cams everywhere imaginable, why do we still not have
a good, clear picture of bigfoot? Could the answer be simple?
And
maybe you’ve thought of this too. But I’m going to actually say it.
Is
it possible that our hairy counterparts don’t use trails as much as we think?
Maybe we’re thinking they follow the trails looking for their prey, but what if
they don’t? For a very elusive creature,
believed to be an ambush predator, hanging around on game trails wouldn’t be
it’s best strategy. A creature of this size would surely scare game away if he
was standing on the trail. And as humans use the trails, he would be more
visible to us too. So maybe hiding
alongside the trails would be better?
Any
other predators out there hunting other animals lower on the food chain are
smart enough to know to stay off the trails. They skulk around near them
hiding, waiting and watching for their prey. Would bigfoot be any different?
But
when we start thinking about other places to put them, the idea becomes more
complicated. With an estimated 747 million acres of forested land in the U.S.,
and realizing that one trail cam MIGHT cover 1 acre of land, we’re faced with
the need of a lot of trail cams (like one per acre of ground) in order to be
effective in getting one decent picture of a sasquatch...maybe.
But
as discouraging as that is, it doesn’t erase the idea of using them. We still
need to use them as much as possible, but maybe rethink their placement. Maybe
start thinking more like bigfoot, and where would I be hanging out if I were
one?
I
would be in the roughest, deepest, darkest, most complicated areas I could
find. Places where a trail cam might capture only a few feet of area in front
of it. And places that a human would
have a real problem accessing.
So
we’d have to be smarter than the creature we’re pursuing. But so far, it seems
we’re not. And we can’t claim we are until we have plenty of clear shots of the
them. But, of course with this idea, the
researchers job just became a lot harder. But it never was easy, was it? ********DF

"Throwback" is the forthcoming horror/adventure feature film from Australian writer/director Travis Bain, due for completion in 2013.
Plot Outline -
Two modern-day treasure hunters -- Jack ( Shawn Brack) and Kent (Anthony Ring) -- who go searching for the lost gold of a legendary outlaw in the remote wilds of Far North Queensland. But instead of riches, they find a different kind of legend, a ferocious Australian monster known as a Yowie, Australia's answer to Bigfoot, and a savage battle for survival ensues. Thrown into the mix are a park ranger named Rhiannon and an ex-homicide detective named McNab.
Starring - Shawn Brack, Anthony Ring, Melanie Serafin, Warren Clements, Andy Bramble, Mike Elliott, Trevor Garvey,Vernon Wells. Vernon Wells was recently added to the cast and many should know him from roles in "Mad Max: The Road Warrior", "Commando" and "Weird Science" just to name a few. Wells has been cast in the film as John McNab, a former homicide detective who has been suspended for insubordination.
In the film McNab believes there’s a serial killer lurking in the jungle killing hikers and sets out to catch him.
This film really shows some promise of actually being good and watchable. Many bigfoot movies in recent years have been very disappointing to say the least. This film seems to have a solid storyline which seems to have been lacking in some of the other recent bigfoot films.
So we wish the "Throwback" cast and crew good luck with the film and we hope to see it soon.

Dog-Like Bigfoot Or
Something Else?
The Werewolves Of
Wisconsin

Is
Wisconsin a hotbed for werewolf sightings? Or maybe dog-like bigfoot? When
several witnesses describe similar creatures seen in the same area, one has to
wonder. A review of some historic
“werewolf’ sightings in that state give some frightening details.
In
1936, Mark Shcackelman was driving one evening in southeastern Wisconsin when
he saw a figure digging in an Indian mound. He claims to have seen a creature
covered in hair, and well over six feet tall with both dog-like and ape-like
features. He described it as having pointed, erect ears. But he gave an
interesting detail: He said the creatures hands had shriveled thumbs and
forefingers along with three fully formed fingers.
Schackelman
returned to the area the next evening only to see the creature again. He said
it was was making “neo-human” sounds described as three syllable growling.
Little did he know that there would be reports of similar creatures in other
parts of the state in later years.
In
an evening in 1991, also in southeastern Wisconsin, an unnamed woman felt a
bump in the road like she’d hit something large. She stopped her car and got
out to check the damages and looked off into the distance only to see a dark,
hairy creature with a muscular chest running towards her. In a panic, she got
back into her car and tried to get away when she claims the creature jumped
onto her trunk. As she sped away, the creature finally fell off as she said the
trunk was too wet for the creature to keep a grip. She returned to the scene
later with a friend only to see a large, dark form rising from the side of the
road.
In
1989, Lorianne Endrizzi was driving just a half mile from the scene of the
above encounter when she thought she saw someone kneeling on his haunches on
the side of the road. She slowed down to get a better look and the creature
stared back at her from no more than six feet across the width of her car. It
had grayish-brown hair, fangs, and pointed ears.
“His
face was long and had a snout like a wolf,” she told a local reporter. 'The
arms were really a kind of strange; jointed like a man or woman would be,"
she explained. "He was holding his hands with his palms upward. The arms
were muscular 'like a man who had worked out a little bit." She went on to
describe a creature with red-glowing eyes with its back legs behind it like it
was kneeling. She had no idea what the creature might be until she later saw a
werewolf in a book in the local library.
The sighting only lasted maybe 45 seconds.
Near
this same time in the same area, Scott Bray, a local dairy farmer claimed to
have seen a “strange-looking dog” beside his pasture. He said it was much
larger than a German Shepherd, had a hairy tail, and pointed ears, with
grayish-black wiry hair. He said the creature had a massive, strong-looking
chest. He claimed he found enormous footprints in the dirt near the area which
were four to five inches in diameter.
Whatever
these creatures were described by these witnesses, it certainly points to the
idea that “werewolves” may have roamed the areas of southern Wisconsin for many

There’s
a subject in the Bigfoot community that’s mostly taboo. Many would never think
about it at all. Others might think about it but could never do it, while some
would most certainly do it in a heartbeat, just to lay the subject to rest.
To
kill a sasquatch or not is the most controversial question we face in our whole
quest for proof. With so many researchers out searching endlessly for just the
right evidence, do we ever realize that any evidence that’s found is just a
pittance. With so many different kinds of evidence being faked these days, we
have to force ourselves to ask the question,
“What will it really take for the rest of the world to believe beyond a
shadow of a doubt that sasquatches are real?”
You
know they’re real, and I know they’re real. Many of us feel we don’t need proof
because we know what we know. But the rest of the non-believing world DOES need
proof if we can even hope to protect them. But how do we do it?
The
hoaxers are becoming more skilled, and we argue endlessly about what’s real
evidence and what’s faked. We can only come to one solid conclusion about that,
and that is that there is far less evidence for the existence of the creatures
than we’d like to believe. If we consider that maybe 95% of existing so-called
evidence is actually fake, then it puts everything into a very sad perspective.
Real bigfoot evidence is rare.

picture and video evidence of a live creature would still not be enough for
everyone. And even those that claim to
co-habitate with the creatures can’t produce a spot-on, clear photograph of
them. And even if they did, someone
would still call it a fake, and nothing would be resolved no matter what was
presented.
So,
knowing all this, what do we do about it? If every piece of evidence is
subjective; if there is nothing that we already have that proves to everyone
indisputably that the creature exists, what are we left with?
The
very least we would need is a live capture, which, in knowing what we know,
would be next to impossible. Should we have researchers running around the
woods with massive tranquilizer guns? Chances are, even IF you were able to
tranquilize a sasquatch at all, it would be out of sight and gone before you
could capture it. `So we’re left with the horrible, unspeakable idea of
acquiring a body to prove a point. Not just a piece of flesh and some DNA, but
an entire body easily recognized by everyone that could be analyzed and
recorded by the scientific community.
It’s
not an easy thing to talk about. It’s a horrible thing. But I dare say it’s in
the back of many of our minds.
There
was, of course, a lot of anger over the idea of the “Sierra Kills” and how it
supposedly happened, but were we all secretly a little relieved to think that
having Bigfoot DNA from an actual body in our possession might actually be the
big ticket to indisputable proof? Did we all take a deep breath and dare to
hope those creatures didn’t die in vane and we’d, in the most horrible way
imaginable, been given a gift that we’d waited so long to receive. Maybe two dead bodies sacrificed to save an
entire species?
Now
I don’t want to see one dead, and most everyone else doesn’t either. We want to
believe we can still prove this without that kind of evidence. Since we’re
still waiting for DNA proof and we don’t know when or if that might happen, if
we had another body in our possession right now that would remove every last
shred of doubt, would we condemn that death for long if it got us what we need
to save the rest of them? ****** DF
