Matt Moneymaker attacks the Sierra Kills story. The leader of the BFRO released a statement on Cryptomundo attacking the entire Sierra Kills story and Justin Smeja and accusing Smeja of lying. He also seemed to imply that Dr. Melba Ketchum was lying in her assessment of the Sierra Kills Bigfoot steak.

BTW, I would bet a whole lot of money that Justin Smeja is lying and did not shoot a bigfoot at all. In my opinion his story is totally ludicrous, if you know the details he initially described.
He claimed he found the pieces of hide after to returning to the area of the “shooting” after a snow storm. He says he didn’t know if the hide was related to what he claimed he shot. To me that sounds like he’s structuring the story so he can remain blameless when the hide is shown to be from a known animal.
On top of that, he mentioned that he’s got a freezer full of dead coyote parts (he hunts those too). I do suspect he cut a piece of hide from one of those dead coyotes and provided that to the people who bought into his shooting story.
Here’s the red flag for that: Some folks I know spent a lot of time questioning the dude in person … One of them says that when he heard Ketchum “confirmed” that his samples came from a sasquatch, he said he thought SHE was a hustler … which seemed strange to the person he said that to.
It doesn’t puzzle me at all. He would have good reason to say that if he knew the hide came from a coyote. And that’s exactly what it looked like. I saw a photo of the hide piece. I was a roughly rectangular piece of fur and skin which looked like it was cut from a larger hide. The piece in question looked like it came from the belly of a coyote. Supposedly Meldrum also said it looked like it could have come from a coyote.

These are some interesting comments. Smeja did indeed whip out a piece of the Bigfoot steak when he took a team to the site of the Sierra Kills in Sierra Buttes, California. It was nothing more than a small rectangular strip. One person there said they thought it was from a coyote, and others some others apparently agreed.
Smeja acknowledges that the steak resembles a piece of coyote. In his initial description, he said it was the color of a “pale yote.” Meldrum’s views that it resembles a coyote may be related to the hair structure, which is unusual it is true. It is true that Smeja has four or five coyotes that he shot chopped up in his freezer right now. But that doesn’t mean that the steak is a piece of coyote.
I do not believe that the steak is a piece of coyote. For one thing, when Ketchum first received it, she said it appeared to be a piece of the thigh of a human cadaver.

Astronomers have confirmed the existence of an Earth-like planet in the “habitable zone” around a star not unlike our own.
The planet, Kepler 22-b, lies about 600 light-years away and is about 2.4 times the size of Earth, and has a temperature of about 22C.

It is the closest confirmed planet yet to one like ours – an “Earth 2.0″.

However, the team does not yet know if Kepler 22-b is made mostly of rock, gas or liquid.

During the conference at which the result was announced, the Kepler team also said that it had spotted some 1,094 new candidate planets – nearly doubling the telescope’s haul of potential far-flung worlds.

Kepler 22-b was one of 54 exoplanet candidates in habitable zones reported by the Kepler team in February, and is just the first to be formally confirmed using other telescopes.

What you must believe if you don’t believe in the Sierra Kills story. The Sierra Kills story says that two Bigfoots were shot and killed in California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains on October 8, 2010. It is known that afterwards, the man who shot the Bigfoots sent in a slice of hairy, human-looking thigh (the Bigfoot steak) to Ketchum’s DNA project. It is known that the thigh initially tested positive on MtDNA as “100% human.” Later rumors said that the thigh had tested as Bigfoot on nuclear DNA via eight separate labs.
A very large number of people, Bigfoot believers and skeptics both, think that the story is utterly ridiculous. Let us leave aside the rumors about nuclear DNA for a moment. It’s well known that Ketchum herself told observers that the thigh tested 100% human on MtDNA.

Robert Lindsay correct on Nature rumors. We stated previously that Ketchum’s paper was at the journal Nature. Granted, our sources inside the Ketchum camp are very sketchy, and the information coming from them is hard to figure out. Ketchum then issued a statement on her Facebook page saying that the paper was not at Nature. We received a lot of criticism for being wrong about the scoop. However, we were not wrong.
The paper was first submitted to Nature, but it was returned to her by them after some time due to several concerns. We get this from Matt Moneymaker. Ketchum then submitted to another journal, and it looks like this submission will be successful. So we were correct in a sense. At one time at least, the paper was submitted to Nature, was tentatively accepted, was under peer review there, and finally was “handed back,” which is the terminology used.

So after The Erisckson Project website was shut down a few weeks ago and all the rumors flying around about how Adrian Erickson and Melba Ketchum hate each other and are at odds, we finally get a statement on it all by Dr. Melba ketch um Herself.

Here is the New Statements from Dr. Melba Ketchum -
"For all of the people speculating on the Erickson project, Adrian and I have agreed to set aside the NDA to tell you that his group is a successful participant in this project.
His research project to obtain the DNA samples is separate from us. His samples will be in the paper along with all of the successful submitters. And, yes, his great footage will come out so lets let all of the rumors go, OK? And once again, please know that we are at the mercy of the journal as to when we can announce. Thanks!"


Then Someone made a Negative statement about the Erickson Project on Melba's facebook page about EP not having anything and Melba replied with "oh he has the goods" 

So it appears all is well and everything is still a go. It makes me wonder if The Erickson Project people will now start talking a little or maybe even show the videos to everyone. If everything is as stated then the final proof of bigfoot will be nailed to the wall in a matter of a few more months.
It will be nice to finally have 100 percent proof,Which I think there already is proof, of the existents of
bigfoot. Really the DNA evidence is just to convince the skeptics, for most of us there is already more than enough evidence that proves that bigfoot is a real creature.

Dr. Melba Ketchum’s Bigfoot DNA paper. We have some new information on this paper from two different sources. Both sources are close to the Ketchum camp.
The first rumor is that the paper will be published on December 31, 2011.
The second rumor is the paper was initially rejected by one journal but has now been accepted by a second journal, and it looks like the second journal will publish. Source is reportedly none other than Ketchum herself.
Ketchum has been positively giddy on her Facebook page lately, which is nice to see, so maybe something is up. Sources say they think that Ketchum has been jumping through hoops to address the concerns of reviewers.

Justin Smeja interested in a deal with Tom Biscardi. Biscardi has offered to buy Smeja’s Bigfoot steak from the Sierra Kills for $50,000. Smeja has expressed an interest in the deal.
Money would go into an escrow first and sit there. It could only be released back to Biscardi by Smeja. Biscardi would take the steak and attempt to prove that it was really from a Bigfoot. Once he proved that, he would allow release of the money to Smeja. It’s literally impossible for Smeja to get ripped off this way in a sense.

Tim Fasano (AKA- fasanotampa) The Skunk Ape Hunter from Florida has posted up some videos today on youtube...they are fake and he posted another video up saying they were fake. This is done to show how easy it is to fake a video and show that other researcher are just trying to make money. Well the good news is that I knew the videos was fake before he stated they were, so that makes me feel good that I know how to spot a fake right off.





This brings me to question Tim...it sounds like he is just having a sour grapes type of moment and attacking other researchers. I think this is mostly aimed at Timbergiant bigfoot. He claims that Timbergiant's videos are fakes. Tim Fasano's recent youtube videos have made some of his followers mad as you can see on his video where he admitted the fakes.
