Angel or Ghost?

This picture was taken in Mexico back in Aug. of 2013. As the young lady was swimming/bathing in a Cenote the photographer snapped this picture. Nothing was seen during the time of taking the photo.
A Cenote is natural pit, or sinkhole that exposes water underneath. Especially associated with the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, cenotes were sometimes used by the ancient Maya for sacrificial offerings. These areas are considered sacred by many people.

Now just what is in the photo is open for debate and the main two opinions seem to be that it is a ghost from one of the ancient sacrifices? or is it some type of guarding angel watching over the young woman?

Here is a couple of zoomed in and slightly enhanced close up of the humanoid figure.

#1 - Ghost or Angel?

In the zoomed in photo #2, I adjusted the contrast and you can see what appears to be a human colored head. The humanoid figure seems to have a bright glow and what could be consider wings. You can also see what looks like a hand with a thumb.

So again, what do you think it could be? Angel, Ghost, trick of light or hoax? I read where some even thought it could be Jesus himself warning of the End Times. What do you think?

What is this odd creature?

The people in the village of Garuhape, in the province of Misiones of Argentina were surprised at the discovery of this weird bird like creature.
The creature appears to have a bird type head and wings but the body of a lion, as described by people from the village.

The unknown creature was discovered by Valeria Machado. The creature was under a fruit basket in Valeria's home. Valeria is a genetics student at Universidad Nacional de Misiones (UNAM).

Valeria said, "At first I thought it was a bird but soon realized that the creature had ears. Then I concluded that it was a newborn rat that could have suffered some kind of mutation."

The creature only measured about 4 inches long and was found in January 2014. The theory of a mutated rat is not being accepted by everyone.

Mutated rat or something else?

In the photo the creature is laying in the lid from a small jar, some think it is a plate but it's not. It is also reported that the creature is still being looked at and studied. Whatever it is, it seems to be weird and out of the norm. It appears to have a birds beak and feathers but also a long tail and ears. Plus arms and legs, with feet not like bird feet. It's very odd. 

So do you think it is a mutated rat, A hoax or something unknown?

Nessie?

"People come here for a holiday and a bit of fun," Edwards said. "I’m one of the people who has brought thousands of people to the Highlands over the years, and I can tell you they don’t come here for the science."

Edwards had been involved in the 2011 National Geographic documentary Truth Behind The Loch Ness Monster and had access to the carbon fiber fake hump they used in the film.

Edwards said he had spent most of his life on the loch. He said he’d spend 60 hours a week taking Nessie enthusiasts out on the loch on his boat every week, and had led many Nessie hunts over the years. And he claimed he still really believes there’s a monster lurking out there.

But Nessie sightings have been few and very far between over the years. And this is not exactly the best news for tourism around the loch. Was it his intention to stage a sighting to drum up business? Well, whatever his motivation for the hoax might have been, he managed to keep the public focused on the monster for a while longer. Maybe that’s all Nessie lovers needed for now.

Werewolf?

This report comes out of Brazil. It seems a man, known as Pingo, had a close encounter with what he described as a werewolf. Pingo described it as a black monster standing about 5 foot tall. Pingo at first became the target of jokes around the town, until others told about hearing and seeing something strange.

The incident is being taken seriously and the city of Sao Goncalo dos Campos, in the Metropolitan Region of Feira de Santana how issued a curfew of 9pm for the city. The curfew was enacted about 2 weeks ago. This is being covered by major newspapers in the region.

A local resident of the area released a home security video of the possible werewolf. What do you make of it? Hoax or misidentification?

We do a lot of guessing about Sasquatch. And so many super powers have been assigned to them, that it’s hard to determine what might be fact and what might be fiction. But according to new findings in science, these creatures as we understand them likely have X-ray vision. But guess what. So do you.

Animals that have eyes on the sides of their head like rabbits, horses, snakes, fish, etc. have adapted a panoramic view of their environment; the ability to scan a vast expanse for food and for danger. They can even see behind themselves. But what about those creatures that have forward facing eyes like humans, tigers, monkeys, and sasquatches as we understand them? What purpose could they serve?

Since we don’t have the visual capabilities of other animals, we might think that our forward facing eyes are a handicap. But they’ve actually evolved for a very good reason: to cut through the clutter of our world…or the world we once inhabited. As we were once mostly dense forest and jungle dwellers in the beginning, our eyes evolved accordingly to compensate for this terrain.

But you say you don’t believe you have this ability? Take this test:

Take your index finger and lay it vertically on the bridge of your nose and look straight ahead. When you do this, do you notice you can see right through you finger? If you close one eye, the finger blocks your view and your field of vision is greatly narrowed. But with both eyes open, you can see right through it. This is more correctly called binocular vision, and you’ve evolved this way because it was important for your ancestors’ existence.

This ability is only adapted by certain animals that live in leafy environments with many obstacles. It gives them the ability to visually "see through" some of that vegetation so they can navigate through it faster and more easily chase food and run away from danger.

Binocular vision works like a very bright light shining on the objects right in front of us that would block our view, allowing us a deeper view of the world ahead of us. And it works really well as long as the distance between your eyes is wider than the objects in your way. The forward facing eyes help us to see a denser area around ourselves. This is an advantage that animals with sideways facing eyes don’t have. For them, it was necessary to see things that were very far away in a wide area. But for us and Bigfoot there was no such need. So we developed this very different visual skill that’s just as amazing.

You may have noticed this trait in yourself before but thought it was some kind of optical illusion. We’ve always been told that, as humans, our eyes are flawed and substandard in the animal world. So if you’ve been feeling a little jealous of Bigfoot and all their purported amazing abilities, you can claim this one also for yourself. *******DF

When I got to Pawtuckaway State Park in Nottingham, NH, there was a large amount of snowmobile, skier, and foot traffic, so I assumed immediately that this would be an evidence collecting expedition.

After travelling down Round Pond Trail and up towards Mountain trail towards the fire tower, I noticed tons of tracks from coyote, deer, fox, and a possible bobcat. Food sources in the park wouldn't be an issue. After walking about a mile and a half, I noticed off to the left of the trail, a ledge outcropping and two trees in an "X" formation.

I came upon a series of tracks that looked like snowshoes, but the path they went wasn't conducive to a person being able to easily go. I had lots of trouble getting to where the trackline was on foot, and couldn't get up to what looked like a moderate sized cave.

The more I looked, the more small things I noticed, such as tree twists, possible structures, and multiple blow downs. I couldn't tell if the blow downs were a natural occurrence or done on purpose, but the few tree twists I saw, one about 6 feet high, one closer to 12-14 feet off the ground, couldn't have been done naturally in my opinion.


The entire area is definitely a prime area for a Sasquatch to call home, tons of dense, thick forest, lots of water sources (some with exposed, running water) and plenty of food sources. I'm very anxious to meet up with the person who filed the report and go to exactly where the sighting occurred.

Bear or Bigfoot?

Near Riddle
I only a glimpse of a black or dark brown figure from the corner of my eye. It was large in size. Only I saw it. Corinna looked at the prints but did not see the figure.
I took a video of the tracks and a tree break but never got to see what made the tracks/impressions. My wife and I were traveling along Middle Creek rd to BLM Road 31-6-17.0 to Council Creek Rd. This is a loop we drive occasionally to keep our spotting skills up to par. We also exercise our dog there.
We were at Gps 42.88308 N, 123,47319 W. Approx. When a large dark figure was moving up a hill to the left of my pick up. I stopped, got out, and got my camera going. I filmed some tracks up the hillside and then pursued them into the brush to find a tree break just in about 30 yards and the break was about 7 feet high. In the video, you will hear me conclude it may have been a black bear but I am not fully convinced it was not a Bigfoot after seeing no claw marks in the toes of the tracks. They are very hard to see anyway (toes).

Firefighter and Bigfoot

This post by TCC Team Member Bill Hamilton. Bill is a full time wild land firefighter. As part of his job duties he gets to travel to remote locations. Bill is a trained observer thanks to his fire aviation background.



A number of years ago I was on a fire in Oregon, it was very remote, six miles from the trail head into the incident. I was on a fire medical team out of Oregon at the time and took the night shift as the medic with 60 fire fighters to look after. I am the last one in and last out. A burn out operation was to be conducted that night and the division supervisor said "hey, Bill I'm gonna leave you on this ridge to watch us, so no fire gets underneath us. And if we have a injury you can hustle it over to us". OK, I said, sounds like a plan.

Now the evening prior to this while walking out, the day shift supervisor walked into a stand off with  a cougar after a few tense moments they simply walked off . So with this in the back of my mine I wedged myself into a rock outcropping and built a small fire in front of me. As the night wore on I heard walking but paid it no mind, as I was busy with radio traffic. As every thing settled down in the wee hours I started to hear music like wind chimes, and I mean loud.

Ghost at the Hotel?

Here is a video of a supposed poltergeist at a Wingate Hotel in Illinois. Guests at the hotel reported hearing screaming coming from this room on September 4, 2003, and security went in to investigate only to find the room disheveled, the carpet torn to shreds, and the shower turned on. If you listen closely, you can hear the screaming before the officer enters the room. And while the security officer is inside the room, watch carefully as the hallway lights flicker while a transparent apparition is caught on tape leaving the room.

This is pretty creepy stuff, but is it real or a hoax?

Our family traveled up to Montana for vacation. At a gas station stop, My brother got out to stretch. Suddenly, a literal freak of nature appeared from nearby bushes. A snake-like creature with long extra sets of tails around its torso. A forked tongue with three barbs in place of two. Back legs and a huge mouth. It appeared out, hissed, and scurried back to the brush. His friend saw a similar creature a few months later a few miles down south.

Describe sighting in detail:
I was hiking in Pawtuckaway Park this am with my 2 Bernese Mountain dogs.  On the descent, very close to the bottom on the mountain we were at a slight jog on snow and ice covered trails, when something about 30 yards ahead moved from my left to my right cutting perpendicular to the trail.
I had a clear line of sight to the incident just 30 yards ahead.  My dogs stopped dead in their tracks and I said, "its just a hiker guys".  But whatever it was was bipedal and much bigger than me and moving at what must have been a very fast pace.
We arrived at the spot and saw nothing ahead, nothing behind and nothing down and to my right.  No sounds.  Whatever that was had come from my left, thru the woods on no trail, moved right across our trail and down to my right into more woods.  I ran ahead thinking it must have been a runner but saw no one and had over 100 yards of clear sight.  I ran back and saw nothing.
I am a marathon runner and an athlete myself and no human could have moved that fast over that terrain so as to elude my sight.  That was either a ghost, a super human athlete, or a BF.  I can't rationalize what I saw.
