| Did grandpa return for a quick visit? |
Amanda originally sent this photo in and here is what she said about it.
"My aunt's best friend gave birth to the baby boy in the picture, a few weeks after her father passed away. During a visit when the child was about six months old and crawling, his mother and grandmother noticed he had crawled up on 'grandpa's chair.' Out of nostalgia, his mother placed him up in the chair and took his picture. Apparently 'grandpa' decided to 'hold' his grandson and pose with him.
All the negatives on this roll were examined to see if there was a possible
bleed through from another photograph, but there was nothing even close to cause
something like this. All we can assume is grandpa still lingers in his home and
still enjoys sitting in his chair; or he is his grandson's guardian
angel."
She went on to say "I had no scanner, so this is a photo taken of the original picture with my
camera. The white around the baby's knees is the flash from my camera. (The date
on the picture is the stamp from my camera.)"

I can't remember where I got this video but it reportedly shows a bigfoot walking past a garden. This figure does not appear in any kind of a hurry or to notice it is being filmed.I don't know if it is a bigfoot or not but it is kind of interesting. It seems to cross the field of view quickly but it appears to just be walking normally.
The video quality is just not good enough to get much detail from it.
What does everyone else think?

The Barton Mansion Entity - Enhanced
October is the time for ghosts and ghouls, so I thought I post up a little spooky video for everyone.
This is an older video I had on my computer and I don't know who to give credit for it.Some guys are checking out a haunted house called Barton Mansion and they film what could be a ghost.

| Can you see the ghostly figure? |
This photo was taken by Andrew Beck, a former student of EKU, it shows a ghostly figure next to a soda machine.
Here is what Andrew Beck wrote about the photo:
"I graduated from EKU a few years ago and while there I lived in Sullivan
Hall. One of our traditions (before the Fire Marshall shut us down) was the Sullivan Haunted Hall.
I'm sure you've heard the stories of the nursing student who killed herself on the fourth floor of Sullivan (a room which I lived across the hall from).
In early October of 2005 (the same year we were shut down) the Sullivan Hall Council was going
through the basement of our dorm to figure out the layout for that year's maze. As I was discussing
the layout with one of my floor representatives, Reid Connelly, (pictured in the fore ground) I
took a few pictures with my camera. Later, I had them developed, and noticed something VERY strange in the photo of Reid near the Coke machine."
Beck went on to say "The original picture still resides (somewhere) in Sullivan Hall. We had it framed for posterity, but I moved out of Sullivan in Spring of 06, so I couldn't tell you what happened to it.
So I have tried to enhance and zoom in on the "ghostly" figure.

Notice how the face seems to have grimace to it. Mouth is kind of opened, kind of scary really.
Andrew Beck also said this is a direct scan of the photo with the following statement "...a scan of the original picture (hence the graininess; I didn't have a good scanner at the time)"
I've heard stories about EKU and Sullivan Hall for many years now and a lot of people claim to have seen or had weird things happen there but now maybe with this photo there is proof of it.

| What is this in the photo? |
Holland said "I saw a strange object floating across the Eastern By-pass, from the K-Mart side over to a position above Wal-Mart's parking lot."
Holland went on to say " At first we thought the object was a kite. I used the digital camera as a binoculars by looking through the zoom lens, and after close inspection I clearly saw a person's legs move, which put the whole object in size perspective. The object was scarcely bigger than the person himself, like he was in a flying chair."
Holland had stated he thought it could be a Autogyro (aka Gyro-copter) but once I blew up the photo you can see this does not appear to be a autogyro copter. I can not see any blades. Also normally Gyro-copters are very loud and make lots of noise. They normally fly kind of low to the ground as well.
So what is this thing? Flying humanoid? UFO? Balloon?

Night Encounter In Uwharrie, North Carolina

No
places are quite as “squatchy” as our national forests. And according to Bobby
Lee, a bigfoot researcher from Uwharrie, North Carolina, Uwharrie National
Forest is no different.
Bobby
and his 16-year-old son search for the big guys as often as they can at their
regular camping area there, but one night last fall proved to be a little
scarier than most.
Bobby
claims the two were sitting in their truck at their campsite at about 2:30 in
the morning. He had heard somewhere that if you were in an active area, if you
cover your vehicle windows, it would make the creatures curious. So they
covered the truck windows and waited in the dark. It was pitch black outside
and his son had fallen asleep next to him. Bobby sat and listened with his
sound-assist equipment when he says he heard footsteps rustling around in the
woods.
“As
it got close, I could hear it grunt, make a growl sound..also could hear it
breathing really heavy. I shook my son and told him, “Wake up! I think there is something right
outside of the truck walking around.” Just as soon as I did, the entire truck
rocked back and forth just for a second. Then I heard it (the creature) grunt
really loud, then run off. We both jumped out of the truck with flashlights and
looked all around, couldn't see anything. But we could hear it moving around in
the woods,” Bobby said.
The
next morning, they found two tracks about 18 inches long in the grass
approximately 20 feet from the truck.
When
asked about his overall impression of the experience, Bobby, an experienced
hunter and tracker, said, “It was not a bear. It took off to fast too be a
bear. Also the tracks I found the next morning were not bear tracks. I know for
a fact that there is something out there, it wasn't a bear, and it wasn't a
man. So that leaves me to believe that what shook my truck that night was
Sasquatch.” He described the sound of it to be heavy-sounding, much like the
weight of a horse.
And
as for the cover-the-windows trick making the creatures curious enough to come

Are We Being Fooled So Easy These Days?

Thank
heaven it’s a brand new world in the realm of Bigfoot these days. Myth and
folklore are finally giving way to real scientific data. And all the tracking, photographing,
and trailcam efforts are paying off big. But Bigfoot is becoming an interesting
topic to the rest of the world too. And with that comes a price: hoaxing...and
lots of it. This seems to be the worst year yet for fake footage.
Thanks
to all the serious researchers in this new age that make mysteries become
reality, we’re going to eventually give Bigfoot a new scientific name and a
voice and picture in the animal kingdom.
But what about all the reports, pictures, and videos that turn out to not
be real? How do we pick through the fakery and find the real thing?
For
one thing, bigfoot is real. Just not as often as we think. And the hoaxers out
there are more educated now, and better able to pull off better trickery that
can almost fool us. But we might want to ask ourselves why we’ve been sucked in
so easily lately.
With
everyone waiting for Dr. Ketchums DNA paper to surface after all these many
months, it’s now been established that many of us don’t believe that piece of
paper will ever see the light of day...and we’re frustrated. Very frustrated.
We need something real to latch on to, and we need it fast. So is that making
us more vulnerable to hoaxes? Or are there just more and better hoaxes out
there?
Both maybe?
Next,
we should maybe stop relying so much on the researchers (even with the great
job they do for us) and start looking to individuals who just happened to have
a camera out at the right time and captured something. While at the same time,
we should always take a closer look at the origins of these videos. We’re
familiar with the known hoaxers, but we should always be on the lookout for new
ones.
And
maybe we should treat every video with more undemocratic scrutiny; like every
one is a hoax until we prove it’s real. Guilty until proven innocent as it
were.
And
finally, but not least, we should be careful of simply agreeing with the
experts
when they tell us some evidence is real. If you think about it, there is really no such thing as a bigfoot expert. Everyone is subject to being fooled at some time. They’re all human after all, just like the rest of us; all capable of being mistaken. It happens, and we need to be more aware of that.

Bigfoot Prints can be fake.
We
need to go over every piece of so-called evidence and footage with a fine-tooth
combed and a microscope. We need to look at it closely, then look at it again.
And then we need to have someone else look at it too. Every possibility of a
hoax needs to be meticulously scrutinized by all available experts in forensics
and biology, etc.
We’re
a community of believers for the most part, and we badly want proof right now
to show to the world. We want to be proven right once and for all. And given
what this community has been through, we all deserve that much. But it’s still
possible that Bigfoot evidence, I mean real bigfoot evidence, may still be
almost as rare as it was when we started. It’s possible the creature is still
outsmarting us after all this time. ********DF

| Is this a real UFO? |
A woman, only identified as "shooter" and her husband where on a vacation trip.While driving in a remote area of Greece they slowed down to photograph some goats, the "shooter" took several photos but this strange object appears in only one of the shots.The "shooter" also stated that the object was not in the photo taken five second before this one. The "shooter" also did not see the object at the time of taking the photos.

A Look at Bigfoot Researcher Rene Dahinden

Often times there is not much known about researchers who started researching 40+ years ago and at times they seem to have been forgotten by many.
So the first person I selected to write about is Rene Dahinden. I hope to maybe write about some of the other "old timers" at some point.
Rene Dahinden was born on August 22, 1930, and passed away on April 18, 2001.
Mr.Dahinden was born in the town of Weggis, Switzerland but moved to Canada in 1953, He lived there for the rest of his life but made many trips all around the world promoting bigfoot.
While living there he worked on a dairy farm in Alberta, Canada.

Increased Number Of
Yeti Sightings In Russia

It
seems that Yeti sightings are on the rise in Russia. A forestry worker, a group
of fisherman, and another individual have claimed a group of the supposed
creatures are inhabiting their local area of Siberia. Three sightings have been
reported recently.
One
person spotted the creature, believing it to be a human and yelled, “Do you
need help?” but got no verbal response. As the creatures rushed away on two
legs straight up a hill, the person realized they were covered from head to toe
in fur. This person also stated, “It
could not be bears, as the bear walks on all fours, and they ran on two. Then
they were gone.”
Another
sighting took place near the Mras-Su River several days later. An unnamed
fisherman said, ““We saw some tall animals looking like people. Our binoculars
were broken and did not let us see them sharply. We waved at the animals but
they did not respond, then quickly ran back into the forest, walking on two
legs. We realized that they were not in dark clothes but covered by dark fur.
They did walk like people.”
And
a government official claimed a forestry inspector, Sergei Adlyakov, reported a
sighting in a local national park. “The creature did not look like a bear and quickly
disappeared after breaking some branches off the bushes,” he said.
When
asked about the sightings, the head of the International Center of Hominology
and prominent yeti researcher, Igor Burtsev deemed the sightings “significant.”
