I thought I would take just a little time today and write a short post about some bad Bigfoot picture and costumes.

A bad Bigfoot image can from a wide range of sources. From the low budget costume makers to the cheesy low budget horror movie to the serial and/or casual hoaxer.  Lets take a look at some of these bad Bigfoots!



 
Well, this Bigfoot looks happy! Maybe it's because it finally found a pair of shoe that fit. No more sore feet. This is not from a hoax or anything but a print that you can purchase. I was going to link to the site but it appears to have a virus ....so can't do it.
  








 
This Bigfoot is not a terrible effort considering it is made out of wigs from Wal-mart, but I have seen much better from Mark Cline. For those who don't know, Mark has been making stuff like this for years. Stuff like a giant 50 foot tall dinosaurs and Foamhenge. Foamhenge is a Stone henge replica made out of of ...you guessed it ...Foam.

I don't know much about this one. The body looks decent but the big mouth and fangs are pretty wild. Hey, maybe it is a Bigfoot Vampire?  What I do know about it is that it is from the film Night Claws starring Frank Stallone.  It was shot in Mobile, AL back in 2001. It was another "Killer Bigfoot" movie.  Why is it most Bigfoot movies show Bigfoot as a crazed killer? ...Bigfoot needs a better agent.




 




This photo was presented by none other than Rick Dyer. I think it was taken while he was on an expedition in Florida.  Best I can remember, Dyer claimed that someone hoaxed him by dressing up in a suit. 







Again, don't know much about this Bigfoot but he has the David Letterman teeth and looks a bit "slow", if you know what I mean.  Could this be from a movie ....if so I'm hoping it was a comedy.







Bad movie Bigfoot. I think this is from the movie Suburban Sasquatch. Its your typical "the beast is on a blood thirsty rampage" movie. Arms and legs getting ripped off ....but hey that might be your thing.







Maybe the worst looking Bigfoot in the movies. Curse of Bigfoot - this is a terrible attempt at creating a Bigfoot creature but hey it was made back in like the 70's and it was a mummified Bigfoot ...so maybe we can overlook it. Now, don't tell me you have seen Bigfoot up close and have been interacting with them and then tell me this glass eyed monster from Todd Standing is real. This Bigfoot has that far way look in his eyes, that blank stare ....maybe it's over medicated?  ..Staring contest ...GO!   





So, there you have it. Some of my picks for the "Bad Bigfoot" club. Please don't take it too seriously this post is meant to be somewhat lighthearted. I'm sure if you look around you can find some better than these.


Bigfoot for entertainment is fine, just be upfront about it, but hoaxing, lying and being dishonest just to make money is not acceptable to most people.

Of course any serious researcher who takes the subject seriously, needs funding and support but never be dishonest or pull hoaxes just to get funding, it only hurts the rest of us and the field in general.

Bigfoot in Kentucky (Mock up Photo)

So, I had heard about this sighting and I know the person who had it. But I hadn't have a chance to talk to them until a few days ago.  They don't really use the Internet or anything, so this was a face to face report I took. I ask them about doing a sit down audio or video interview and they are thinking about it but are very reluctant to do it for fear of being made fun of.
What I have done is take some notes about the encounter and then I filled out the information below. I know exactly where this sighting took place and many years ago had coon hunted the same area.
Here is the report.

Describe sighting in detail:
I was ginsening and I kept hearing what sounded like someone speaking Russian.  The sound would come and go and it really puzzled me but I kept looking for ginseng. I had just found a big 4 fork and shouted out "Thank the Lord" and all at once a rock about the size of a basketball went zipping by my head. It nearly hit me.
I looked up to where the rock came from and there stood 2 Bigfoots. A really large brownish red female Bigfoot with very large breast. It was standing up the mountain and looking at me. It was about 8 foot tall and was covered in hair. There was less hair around the eyes and cheek bones.  Beside of the large female was a younger Bigfoot. I could not tell if it was a male or female but it was as black as coal. It was much smaller than the female. I was scared to death and got out of there as the 2 Bigfoots turned and walked on up the mountain.

At the bottom of the mountain there was a small logging crew and I think that maybe the mother and child Bigfoot had been around the hill, above the loggers, watching them log. As I went up the mountain our paths must have just crossed.

After I got home I didn't tell anyone, as I thought they would just think I was crazy. I waited 3 days before I finally told my wife.

I personally know this person and I feel like they are telling the truth.  As he was telling me about this the hairs on his arms were standing up. I think he had a real encounter.  It is also commonly reported that Bigfoot throws rocks.

I hope to go to this area in the future as it is only a few miles from me and a place that I have been many times. If he decide to do an interview I will post it up.

Well, I first have to admit that I'm not really up on the complete story about this reported Death bed confession of Boyd Bushman video. I do know there are UFOs and beings that most call Aliens.
The video is around 30 minutes long and it is being knocked off from youtube by Chris Mooney for copyright infringements. Here is a link to the video but I have no clue how long it will be there. Boyd Bushman Video

What I want to focus on is one particular photo shown by Bushman and it is the photo at the top of this post. He also shows several other photos of the same alien and gives many details.

There is also another photo of a very similar looking alien being passed around on the internet. Some say it completely debunks this one particular photo, while others say it's not the same and only a model of the real thing.

Now, I have no clue who made the alien in the photo above but thought it would be nice to compare the two pictures.

Here is some side by side comparisons
Some people point out that the mouth appears to be different and that the model alien on the right has a smile while the "real" alien on the left does not.  To me, we need to consider that the model on the right could be an earlier photo taken before the finished product on the left. Also please note I reversed the orientation of the picture on the left to give them a similar pose.

Here is another comparison without the flip
Notice the line down the center of the head is the same (basically).

I personally think it is the same model/prop. Yes it looks slightly different but this could have been before the final painting of the figure.

Now, this makes me wonder if someone was just sowing disinformation and using Boyd Bushman to spread it around. It all seems to play out like the documentary film MIRAGE MEN.

So what do you guys and gals think?  Is it the two aliens the same?

Fairy?

Just thought that I would take the time to return to my little series "Real or Fake". For those who don't know, I take a popular story or photo and attempt to either confirm it as Real or confirm it as Fake.

Today I want to take a closer look at the Derbyshire Fairy story/photos. The story kind of goes like this:
" A man, who wishes to remain anonymous, was out walking his dog when he found the remains of a Fairy in the Derbyshire countryside. The remains are about 8 inches long and has long flowing red hair. The tiny being was x-rayed and it revealed that the bones were hollow like a birds....."
 
You get the idea. There were several photos of the fairy that accompanied the story. The "Police Evidence" bag adds what many to believe credibility to the story.  I still see thee pictures passed around on various website and many have concluded it is a real fairy...but lets dig deeper.

Come to find out this was intended to be an Aprils fools joke but it caught fire and is still burning in many circles.

In 2007, Dan Baines, a 31-year-old illusion designer for magicians from London posted the photos online. Some evidence of the "prank" are still left over on this page -   http://www.lebanoncircle.co.uk/DeadFairy.htm  - Although there are no pictures of the fairy on the link, the name of company pretty much lets you know that they make Props of this kind. One look at the "Collections" link will give you a taste of the excellent props they can create.    

Once Baines came clean many people suggested that it was a cover up to hide the fact it was a real fairy. It is reported that Baines was got around 20,000 hits in one day and numerous emails about the fairy.

This big interest in the fairy prompted Baines to cash in on the hype and he put the fairy for sell on ebay.  The item brought almost $500.

After all of this and the fact that Baines admitted it was fake ..some still hold the fairy as being real.

Bigfoot

About a month or so ago me and my dad went to an area ( I call it area #2) where we know Bigfoot come around. We found this area where all the debris had been swept away. (see photo above)

Could a Bigfoot have been sitting in the sun or taking a nap or something? Maybe it was just watching down the hollow, there are some dogs in the area and I think in the past they have taken some dog food from them.  

In the middle of this cleaned area was what appeared to be a human type foot track. The only thing was that we had a few days of rain before we found it and it seemed to have wash away the track some.
I did manage to take a close up photo of what appears to be toe marks but this was taken late in the evening, so the photo is not really that good.

Of course, I can not say for 100 percent this was from a Bigfoot but I do know that Bigfoot travel this area. It was just last winter that I seen a Bigfoot in this general area on a snow covered day. This is also an area where Bigfoot seem to travel late at night and only in the winter months. There is a couple of small caves near by and I wonder if they just stay in this area during the winter to get out of the cold and snow. This is a small stream and some food sources, so I think that might be it.

I plan on keeping an eye on this area over the next several months. I have found stick formations and breaks in this area and have heard some really odd sounds at different times of the early morning and late at night. I was never able to record the sounds.

Strange creature seen in Iowa (Mock up photo)

I got this interesting report in over the last couple of days. What do you think it could be ..Mothman or Owlman ....or something else.

Describe sighting in detail:
I've seen this creature twice in the same area. While driving home from my mother's one night there appeared to be a house on fire but no flames. Because it was so late at night I didn't want to report a house fire unless I was sure. I also didn't want to leave a sleeping family in danger, so I turned off the blacktop onto the gravel road and drove about a half mile down to look at the home. It wasn't on fire. There was what initially appeared to be a person sitting on the roof.
After it turned and looked at us, it was clear it was not a human. it had gargoyle type wings, glowing eyes, and I couldn't get away from it fast enough.

The second time, it was around the same time at night. This time that thing came at us. It spread its wings and swooped off the roof and across the field, no flapping of wings and it moved quickly. It landed on the side of the road, raised its arms over its head and threw something large and head shaped at the front of the car.
It then flew right up to the drivers side rear passenger window and looked in the car. I'm not sure what it threw and I wanted to turn around and look but the other passengers were on the floor of the car crying and hysterical.
Everyone in the car saw it. It followed our car all the way into Ida grove at 70 mph (yes I know I was speeding but if this thing was chasing you...I would've gone faster but there are a lot of deer).
when I got home I checked and there was a large round dent in the front of my car where it had been hit. I've looked everywhere for similar sightings and have found none. The closest cryptid I've found is the Mothman but that still isn't right. It had large round red eyes that glowed, not like it was reflecting light but instead the source of the light, gargoyle or bat like wings, over six feet tall, moved rapidly, glided instead of flapping and liked more like the thing off jeepers creepers.

There are some strange things going on in the woods at night. And I’ll tell you why we believe this to be true.

All too often, we find weird photos of things we can’t explain. The price of trail cameras is going down and that means hunters and researchers alike are employing them everywhere…with sometimes very creepy results. Creepy enough to make you wonder if you shouldn’t stay inside at night and lock the door.

We debunk many more pictures than we authenticate. But sometimes certain images leave us wondering how creepy and strange the world is outside at night. The following photos may or may not be real but they certainly are interesting. All these were posted on the internet by people claiming they captured their strange images on trail cams at night. Check out the weirdness and tell us what you think.

Internet sources claim a man in Georgia had seen strange lights moving around on his property at night and he suspected someone had been trespassing. He set up trail cams around his land and captured this image of a bright glowing entity. It appears to have something protruding from its back and it looks like a figure holding a rod or "wand."  Some claim it's an angel or a fairy or a ghost. What do you think it is?

 

This image was captured on a trail am by a couple in Jackson County, Mississippi. It appears to be a large "craft" with bright lights hovering over the ground, and many observers screamed UFO. But the couple finally came forward and claimed it was simply light bouncing around inside the infrared camera. We hope that's all it is. The deer didn't seem too disturbed.

This pic has been circulating on the internet for years. Is it an alien, demon, hoax? A man near Berwick, Louisiana claimed a friend of his captured this after finding his trail cam demolished. The sim card was still intact and he found he had captured this very creepy image. Tell us what you think it is.

The history of this one is a little sketchy but it's believed to have been captured by a trail cam owner near Thunder Bay, Michigan. It appears to be some kind of humanoid and some even claim it's a bigfoot since there have been sightings in that area. But we're not sure. What do you think this is?

This creepy image was said to have been captured in 2012 in northern Pennsylvania. The strange humanoid figure seems to be squatted down or sitting and laughing or smiling, yet the deer seems mostly unaffected.

We're not quite sure what to make of this one whose history is elusive, but it's pretty creepy nonetheless. And the low light makes it even creepier. What do you think it is? We featured this odd photo once before, check out that post by Clicking Here

What do you think these strange lights are in this trail cam pic originally published by Phantoms and Monsters? The lights almost look like strange little faces. Or maybe not. What do you think?

This one has always been a curiosity for me. It has been challenged many times but never confirmed fake. Supposedly from a trail cam in a forest somewhere in Canada, this pic depicts what looks like a Mothman or demon-like creature chasing a deer, Could it be the Jersey Devil?  According to internet sources, the locals in this area refuse to go into the woods at night as there have been numerous sightings of this type of creature. What do you think it is?

As some of you may know, I took a lot of heat over calling and attempting to prove the Siberian Bigfoot Photos a hoax. I pointed out the fold/wrinkle in the back of the "creature" and red material at the nape of the neck. Others came up with ridiculous ideas to keep hope alive for this hoax. Saying it was long braided hair and not a fold in a suit and the "red " thing could be a wound or a blood spot from a kill. Let also not forget the beard theory to explain the long flowing hair around the face.  I was called dishonest, a non believer, a hoaxer and more over this set of photos, all because I tried to let people know it was fake.

Well, now the jig is officially up and I'm waiting for the apologies to roll in. (Not really, it don't happen often in the world of Bigfoot)

The main investigator and researcher of the Siberian photos was/is Igor Burtsev. He was convinced they were of a real Yeti but upon doing more investigation found out different.  He posted an update on the photos and confirmed they were hoaxed.

4 people in group and 1 in a suit.

So, in the end it was an April Fools joke from 2011 that fooled many experienced Bigfoot analyst and researchers.

Now can this all be over with, with this set of photos? Is it clear now it was a hoax/prank?
In case you still don't get it - the long flowing "beard" was most likely hair hanging out from under the mask from the person in the suit and the red thing was most likely a ribbon that was suppose to keep the hair tied up and out of the way.  There were 5 people in the group with 1 being in the suit. It was done on April 1st - which we call Aprils Fools Day. The photo had different timestamps and were taken at different times.

I'm glad Igor finally exposed these as fakes after pushing them so much.

A mini-documentary
