The Bermuda Triangle: A Mystery Unveiled

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a loosely defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft and ships are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. This area, whose boundaries are not universally agreed upon, has a largely triangular shape that connects the southern U.S. coast, Bermuda, and the Greater Antilles

The Michigan Triangle

Some may not have heard much about it, but there is an area on Lake Michigan that is often called the Michigan Triangle. It has many similarities to the more famous Bermuda Triangle. The Michigan Triangle spans from Manitowoc, Wisconsin, to Ludington, Michigan, and south to Benton Harbor. It is home to numerous mysterious events and disappearances.

Everything from sunken ships to missing airplanes has been blamed on this strange area of the lake. Some say there is something very odd going on and that it is a risk to cross this section of the lake. In 2007 there was a discovery that many think might shed some light on the strange events.

Here is a short video about The Michigan Triangle

A few days ago I got an interesting submission in my email. While I have many questions about what happened, I still find the report intriguing. I emailed back and forth with the person to get a little more information. I know many of you will probably find the story unbelievable but I wanted to share it to see if anyone else has had something similar happen.

Here is the report as told to me via email.

Alien Abduction In The Sky?
What Happened To Australian Pilot,  Frederick Valentich?

By Dorraine Fisher

Frederick Valentich wasn’t a military man. He was no one special or significant. But in October, 1978, this Australian pilot  boarded a Cessna single-engine 182L plane for a routine cargo flight of 235 kilometers (about 146 miles) over Bass Strait, Australia. It was a day that started out like any other day, but as it turned out, he would never make it back.

According to the flight service officer at the time, Steve Robey,  Valentich gave a rather routine position report and was flying under 5000 feet. But after that, things got very strange.  Less than an hour into the flight, he started reporting that his engine was running rough and a strange aircraft was hovering about 300 meters above him. The following is the actual transcript of the exchange between Robey and Valentich:

The Crypto Files - 5 People Who Mysteriously Vanished!(Ep45)

It's time for another episode of The Crypto Files. In this episode, we take a brief look at five cases where the person seems to have vanished without leaving behind any clues.

There are numerous disappearances where people vanish without a trace. There are currently a lot of open missing persons cases in the United States. We hope this video can if nothing else, bring some awareness to the cases presented.

Here is the video.

The tale of the S.S. Ourang Medan
Does Old CIA Document Confirm Legend?

I recently had a friend send me a CIA document she ran across during her many document searches.
The old document was in reference to a story I knew a little about but had never dug up the full tale.

So of course, I had to do some research and find out more about the tale of the S.S. Ourang Medan.

Here is the story in a nutshell -  "In June of 1947, two American vessels sailing the Strait of Malaca in Indonesian waters received a distress call from a Dutch merchant ship, Ourang Medan. Message read, “All officers including captain are dead lying in chart room and bridge. Possibly whole crew dead,” followed by a final transmission “I die.” One of the American ship, SS Silver Star attempted to hail the ship, but to no avail. When they boarded the ship, they found the deck littered with corpses. The entire crew was dead, including a dog aboard the ship. The bodies of the crew all showed signs of being frozen in terror at the moment of death. Their facial expressions horrified, teeth bared, eyes pointing at the sky. They had no visible signs of trauma. The ship finally exploded and sank."

Missing in the Smokies

A couple of weeks ago I ran across a missing person case from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The events that surrounded the disappearance got me interested in the case.  The deeper I dug the more engrossed I became. I felt the need to keep digging and looking for clues and overlooked articles. The next thing I know I was constructing a video about the case. Here it is, I hope you enjoy it.
