Bigfoot in Ohio

An abnormally large footprint — which some believe belongs to Bigfoot — has been discovered in a northern Ohio backyard.
Ashtabula County resident Wendy – she asked to have her last name withheld because she’s not sure she wants to be involved with Bigfoot stories – was doing yard work on Aug. 11 when she noticed a 7.5 inch wide footprint that was an inch and a half deep into the mud.
“I took a picture to show my mother’s husband, who’s a hunter, and he said it wasn’t a human’s,” she said. “I’m not claiming that footprint to be anything. I don’t know what that is.”
Wendy recalls multiple incidents in the past five years in which she and her husband have come across “something not human.” She said she hears knocking sounds on the walls of their house late at night, and she remembers a time when she saw a figure in all black running across the railroad tracks.
“The direction they were going, there were no homes. It would’ve gone out the woods, crossed the tracks, and gone back into the woods,” she said.


Wendy and her husband have also heard loud growls outside. “I never walked backwards so fast to get back in the house. But I couldn’t see, it was so dark back there.” She said the growl was impossible to duplicate and made her husband’s “hair stand up.”
“I didn’t believe in the sasquatch before,” Wendy said. “And in fact I’m still fighting it. But I can’t make sense of that large footprint.”
According to the group Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, Ohio has logged more than 242 sightings since 1974.

From the photo and video it appears the track is 7 inches wide. I don't think they actually told how long it is. Then if you take in the rest of the story about hearing growls and knocks on her house, plus seeing the dark figure run across the railroad tracks, this has potential to be a real bigfoot track.

Mothman Statue

The Mothman was seen in Point Pleasant, West Virginia between November 1966 and December 1967. It is reported that about 100 people seen this strange creature during this time frame.
The description of the creature varied some, but generally the creature was described as being 5-7 foot tall, man shaped, grey or brown, with wings and wider than a man. The strangest detail told about this creature was it's lack of a head, with witnesses stating that it's red glowing eyes set on it's upper chest area.  To me this would represent the lack of a neck with the head sitting down between the shoulders. The red glowing eyes were often described as being as big as bicycle reflectors.

Another odd detail, about this totally odd being,  is that witnesses told that the Mothman didn't flap it's large wings when taking off or while in flight. People reported seeing the Mothman ascent straight up in the air without any wing flapping, odd indeed for a winged creature.
There is at least 1 report of the Mothman pacing a car at approximately 100 mph! The terrified witnesses in the car escaped when Mothman broke off it's chase at the city limits.

Some people also reported hearing humming sounds coming from the Mothman and a few reported screams that sounded like a woman screaming.
Another odd thing about this is that some people reported radio and electronic interference. Stuff like lose of TV reception or YV's having static and that radios would not work correctly.

One thing is for sure, everyone who saw this creature was struck with terror. This terror might play a part in the concept that seeing the Mothman is a bad omen or of a pending disaster. This is also fueled by the collapse of  Sliver Bridge, which crossed the Ohio river to Point Pleasant. Witnesses claimed to have seen Mothman in the area before the bridge collapsed. The bridge collapsed on Dec. 15, 1967 during rush hour traffic killing 46 people, 2 of which were never found. The Silver Bridge was build in 1928 and named "Silver bridge" due to it's shiny aluminum paint.  After the collapse investigators determined that a small 2.5mm defect in one single eyebar in a suspension chain and being overloaded caused the collapse. The bridge was replace in 1969 and name Silver Memorial Bridge.

Another eerie part of this story is that the Mothman was said to have been hanging around the old World War II munition domes in Point Pleasant. There are over 100 of these old TNT domes in the area. Some thought Mothman chose that area due to the chemicals that are buried underground there.

Over the years there has been many movies and books about the Mothman. One of the most known movies is The Mothman Prophecies starring Richard Gere. Cryptozoologist Loren Colman wrote Mothman and Other Curious Encounters for which he received very high praise.

The Mothman sightings are not just contained to the United States. There has been several reports from other areas. In 1985 a similar type creature was reported just before the Mexico City earthquake and in 1986 a Mothman type of creature was reported just before the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant meltdown. There was also a reported sighting in 1963 in England and many others. There continues to be Mothman sightings even to this today.

So is the Mothman part of the terrible disasters or is it just some type of warning that we do not understand? No one really knows for sure and that part of the tale is open for debate.

So just what is Mothman?  Many speculate that it could be an alien, while others believe it to be some type of mutation due to the chemicals in the TNT domes.  Others think it could be some type of a death angel sent to warn people of impending doom or disaster. Still others think it's just a hoax.

Hair from a dead bigfoot?

While trolling ebay I ran across this photo, so I stopped and read the description. Apparently this bigfoot hair sample came from a bigfoot that was bitten by a rattle snake and died.

Here is what was posted about the item(spelling errors left intact) :

  "This is card 42/100 of a hair sample taken from a Sasquatch!!!Found dead in the Indiana,Brown Co. State Park. I've been going

there every year for over the past twenty years to check out a Rattlesnake den. And last August got a huge suprise when I found

this beast already dead from a nasty snake bite to the leg.This male is 8.5 size 17foot..We have been back now several times and have hair,nails,teeth samples and pic's and of corse video that will be released later on after I make sure no-one finds this den.I don't want it disturbed or destroyed like every other animal on the planet!!!"


The ebay seller id is "comeandgetit1234" and they have about 50 feedback, almost all good.

So according to this ebay seller they have photos, video of the dead bigfoot, plus hair, nails and teeth samples.

I personally like the novelty of the "bigfoot hair" sample auction but I have serious doubts that any of the story is true.

I also notice that there are several "bigfoot hair" auctions on ebay. Might be cool to have one just for the novelty factor.

If anyone has any info feel free to share it.

I just wanted to share this and see what others think as it seem most like the "dead bigfoot" stories.

UFO

Allison Barta was taking pictures of pelicans outside of her Cass Lake home in Minnesota when she saw a very fast moving, round, translucent object zooming across the sky.

She managed to take the one photo above.

Barta, a science teacher at the Bug O Nay Ge Shig school, has spent plenty of time looking at the sky. In fact, a few years back, she spent an entire summer gazing upward, mapping stellar bodies for a program called "Star Watch."


So what could it be? some say it could be a drone but I'm sure they make noise and most would recognize it.

Barta said: "It's not an aircraft known to this planet. I don't really know what it is."

Dead Starfish

After reporting about the massive die off of some Elk, I got to looking and there has been several more massive die offs recently. A tip from David Lambert let me to these other die offs.

In British Columbia, Canada there was a massive die off of Starfish discovered by marine biologist and scuba enthusiast Jonathan Martin. Another massive die off happened in central Kazakhstan, where 3,000 Saiga antelopes were found dead. The Committee of Forestry and Hunting in cooperation with the Research Institute for Biological Safety Problems and Veterinary Service are researching for a cause of the massive die off.

This seems to be a really big issue in the region as representatives from other groups including  Ecology Departments of Akmola and Karaganda Oblasts, Veterinary Services, Emergency Situation Department, Internal Affairs Department and Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Service has got involved to try and determine the cause of the deaths.

This is the second massive die of Saiga antelopes, the other one happen in 2012 with over 600 antelopes being found dead.

It seems there are few answers to these animal deaths, but a lot of speculations. Could it be something natural that just happens or are their other factors involved. No one seems to know at the moment.

I remember a couple years ago there were massive bird deaths, even 1 or 2 in Kentucky best I can remember. There were also many fish deaths in several spots around the world. It makes one wonder about such events. Until the last few years I had never really heard or thought much about massive animals deaths but I suppose they were happening. Now I hear about Bees dying off, birds dying off and all these other animals.
I do find it interesting and wonder about it, maybe we will get some answers at some point.

Dead Elk Herd

State biologists are trying to figure out what killed a herd of Elk in northeastern New Mexico.
The herd of more than 100 elk were found dead and do not appear to have been shot or injured in any way.

Many suspect a disease called Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease, which is caused by insect bites.
EHD causes the elk to run a high fever and normally kills the elk with 8 to 36 hours.

Tissue and water samples from the area have been sent in for testing, but until a definite cause is determined there will be speculation. EHD is not contagious to humans but Fish and Wildlife have urged hunters not to harvest the dead elk.

Some comments about the cause of this mass die off have been all over the map. Here are some of the comments about what caused this die off.

Rick Frazier - "Gov't agent killing off the herds before the collapse of the dollar, mass rioting, country people feeding themselves for a long time on wild meat, thus resisting the new world order."

Christine -  "This is the work of extraterrestrials. You think I am crazy but I tell you that one day, you will believe me and others who tell you the same thing. The world has changed."

Some are also thinking that maybe fracking of gas/oil wells could have something to do with it. Others are tying the massive die off to the bible, that it is part of the end time tribulations of the end the Earth age.

So I guess at this point we really don't know what caused this massive overnight die off. Once the samples are tested we may have more of an answer.

Choctaw Bass

No, it's not bigfoot but any time a new species of any type is confirmed it gives all of us bigfoot believers hope.

Scientists with the Florida Fish and Wildlife have confirmed a new species of black bass in the southeastern United States.

The Choctaw Bass, as it is being called, is very difficult to distinguish from the spotted bass. This is why the new species has remained undiscovered until recently.

Scientist searched for the same DNA profile among bass in nearby rivers to help confirm the new species.

Cool indeed.

Bigfoot near Joplin, Missouri

This report is from our friend Casey Macias. Casey is a bigfoot enthusiast who enjoys researching the unknown.




Elain Byrd, a lovely woman in her late 60's early 70's, claims to have sighed a Sasquatch in the woods behind her house on the morning of August 6th, on a little tiny trail/path that she often goes down in the early mornings to bird watch.
She said she took up the hobby of bird watching after her husband passed away in 2002 at the age of 72. She loves birds watching and said watching them early in the morning gives her a peace of mind in her dark times. She was uncomfortable with going on audio and video so she gave me permission to tell her story.

Like I said she is in her late 60's early 70's but she is very coherent and completely competent. She woke up early in the morning between the hours of 4am and 5am to feed her dogs, she noted that for the better part of the night they where causing a fuss, a big fuss way more than usual. She said that her dogs had been acting funny or scared for a few days but she thought nothing about it. She said they have acted as if they wanted to come into the house on several occasions in the last three weeks. She also has a smaller dog that stays inside with her. On this particular morning when she walked out of her house she couldn’t get her little dog to come out with her she even put a leash on it and tried to drag it out of the house, but she wouldn’t come out at all. This resulted in the dog having an "accident" inside the house, which according to Elain is something that hasn’t happened in a very long time, not since she was a puppy.

Elain lives In the suburbs of Webb City Missouri, in between Joplin Missouri and Webb city. After attempting to feed her three very large dogs, who wouldn't even touch their dog food and after going back inside to feed her small dog, she got her clothes on and proceeded to head out into the woods. There is a little trail, that used to be an ATV trail, behind Elain's house. She took her usual items with her, which included her walking stick and a small backpack with water and her binoculars. The time it was about 7:30am and she was walking down the path taking her time looking toward her usual areas for her beloved birds, when she noticed that for some reason she wasn't finding any birds at all. She said she thought to herself “well that's not entirely unusual", there had been a few days where she didn't see anything until just before 9am. She kept walking the path that's only about a quarter of a mile long, deeper and deeper into the foliage. She checked the time and it was pushing 9:45am and still not one bird, not even the sound of birds.

She said it was weird and that you can always here birds down her path. She said there had been mornings where she couldn't see them but she could still here them.
Normally she stays out till around 12:30  or 1 o'clock  in order to make it home to fix herself some lunch but It was an eerie silence in the woods that morning, it kind of made her feel uncomfortable.

So she decided to turn around and slowly head back to her house, all the while keeping an eye out for her birds, still nothing. So she took a water break, then she said she herd movement like tree branches down the path but she couldn't see what it was because there is a few hills on the trail.
She just couldn't see over then next little hill to see what it was. So she puts her water away and begins walking slowly up the little hill taking her time, being carefully not to step on any branches or twigs or grass, anything that would be too loud and might scare the birds, she thought she heard in the brush over the little hill.

When she got to the top of the hill and looked down the other side, just enough to peek over the hill without scaring the birds away, she noticed something that she thought was a large man wearing hunting attire of some sort. She stated she was kind of upset because she doesn't allow anyone to hunt on her little bit of property that she owns. Being upset, she hurried a little to rush towards the man and noticed that it wasn't a man at all but a large hairy brown something, that was standing upright moving some branches around.

I asked her to describe what she saw. She gave me a description of  what sounds like a Sasquatch. She stated it was very tall between 6 and 7 feet with a cone shaped head. She said she called out to the man or whatever it was, to state to their business on her property. She said she was very nervous and didn't know what it was, she said she startled it, because it turned to look at her and it did, as she put it “An About Face”, her middle son was in the Army Reserves so she was very familiar with the military, she stated that whatever it was turned so hard that it would have given her whiplash. The creature headed the other way very quickly and she said that its arms where hanging down, way lower than the average man, She said it started walking faster then sort of ran and turned sideways kind of bending down as if it was going to get onto all fours. The creature headed into the trees and was gone.
She told me she wasn't sure if it actually got onto all fours or if it just seamed like it cause whatever it was bent down so fast. She said she was frightened so bad that she didn't know what to do.

She had her cell phone with her and called her son and stayed on the phone with him until she made it back to her house. She said that she has not stepped foot back into those trees and has only gone out the back door in order to feed her dogs. She did note that the dogs behavior seemed to have gone back to normal in the past few days. She stated that she had heard from neighbors that their animals were also acting funny, but that they have being ok now.

So I asked her if she would at least go outback with me, into the woods, in order to show me where she saw the creature, so that I could look around and she agreed, but only under the conditions that she called her youngest son to go with us. I said that was ok and I understand.

We went back into the woods and she showed me around where everything was she felt uneasy and very scared but felt a little better with me and her son there with her. Her son had brought a rifle with him in order to make her feel better.
I noticed a lot of the trees had been moved around and looked as though something had been making its way threw them with ease, almost as if you took a 4x4 truck threw some brush, but nothing was too broken up.
Just as if something had been moving the brush around for whatever reason. I took some photos of the area including the spot where she claims it had almost seamed like it went on all fours. I thanked her and her son for their time and told her that if anything else out of the ordinary happens to give me a call. She seamed very relived to get it off her chest stating her middle son had told her not to call the police.
Based on what I noticed out in the area and what she described, it sounds like she witnessed a Bigfoot. There was plenty of woods and a river near by, which according to her son, has plenty of fish in it. It seams to me that she might have scared the Bigfoot out of the area by shouting at it.

Edgar Mitchell

In an article on Bloomberg News, Apollo Astronaut Edgar Mitchell was asked about the Roswell incident, and replied that he had been contacted not only by the man who delivered the coffins to the base for the bodies found in the wreckage, but by descendants of other original Roswell observers. He went on to say that the UFO cover-up has gone on far too long, and that this is due to the military industrial complex's obsessive secrecy.
