Goethe State Forest

According to Denise DeChenes there are bigfoot in the Goethe State Forest in Florida.
DeChenes walks with her dog in the Goethe State Forest and says "“I hear them walking with me and I know they're there”.

She also stated she never believed in bigfoot until she started taking her walks in the woods a few years ago.

She even managed to get  this photographic of what she thinks is a bigfoot.


Bigfoot?

While the photo may not convince anyone of bigfoot, Denise is totally convinced that bigfoot roams the Geothe State Forest. She may not be alone in her thinking as there are a few other reports posted on the BFRO's website. One of which was actually in Geothe State Forest.

According to the 2005 report two men were hiking when the saw 2 bigfoot, one large and one smaller, they were able to watch the creatures for around 15 minutes or more. They were also able to find 2 large foot tracks. The men also told of a very bad smell associated with the present of the bigfoot.

Plus there are several other reports from the area.

The Geothe State Forest is next to a 24,000 plus-acre Gulf Hammock Wildlife Management Area, which would make a very suitable home for bigfoot.

Tent video Bigfoot - RIP?

By now most have heard of the tent video and the reported killing of the bigfoot seen in the video.
Many are saying that this is now an admitted hoax, that Rick Dyer has now admitted to it or did at some point. I have not seen any comments by Dyer admitting to a hoax but on the contrary I have seen him make recent statements like "... well worth the wait." Meaning it will be worth the wait for people who want to see the proof and body.


Some are saying that Minnow Films is behind this "hoax" and are putting it out. I personally find it a little hard to believe that a company with a good reputation of making award winning documentaries would engage in this type of behavior.
Minnow Films has made over 20 films and worked with people like Ridley Scott and Kevin Macdonald. Minnow films also made a documentary for Warner Brothers titled "When Harry Left
Hogwarts" in 2011. It was a behind the scenes look at the Harry Potter films that took 1 year to film.
Minnow Films has also worked with  BBC and aired several programs and currently have a few in production for BBC. So I find it a little hard to believe that a successful,award winning film company with a good reputation could be behind a hoaxed story about killing a bigfoot. It would seem to be a very risky move on their part.

Minnow Films was founded by Morgan Matthews in 2006. Matthews has been directing documentaries for over 10 years.

So what are we left with? Well at this point we have a small clip of a possible bigfoot filmed from inside a tent, we do know that there was a rifle in that very same tent and we have a report that the rifle was used to kill the bigfoot seen in the video. We also know that other people (Film crew) were reportedly filming these events. We also have been told that some DNA testing has been done on the bigfoot and will continue, and at some point the body will be shown to some researchers.

I know that many still have a bad taste in their mouth over the 2008 Dead Bigfoot hoax pulled by Dyer but it could be possible that it's not a hoax this time. We all know that Dyer has spent many days and nights in the woods over the last few years running his expeditions, so it could be possible that he really has something this go around. I know it seems easy to totally dismiss this claim because of who is making it but one has to admit the creature seen in the tent video looks pretty real.
 
I will continue to follow the story as much as I can, it should be interesting to see which way all this will go.

MOREHEAD, Ky. – A woman who paid $75 to join other paranormal researchers on a late-night hike through the Daniel Boone National Forest said she got a glimpse of Bigfoot, a supposed larger-than-life creature whose existence has long been debated.
Teresa, who uses only her first name as do many Bigfoot believers for fear of ridicule, said her group had been walking along trails late Saturday night near Cave Run Lake when she heard grunting and growling.

Her group stumbled upon the creature, she said, as he was trying to kill a deer. He was interrupted by bright lights shining in his face. The rugged, hilly forest is located in eastern Kentucky.
“When the flashlight hit his eyes he immediately turned his head and moved his body and turned the opposite direction we were in,” Teresa said.
The eight-foot-tall creature quickly ran away, deep into the forest, Teresa said, saying she chased him.

“I wanted to talk to him,” she said. Teresa is an established spiritual medium and animal communicator from New Jersey, she said.
There were three search groups and, according to Teresa, hers was the only one that spotted the big, hairy, ape-like man.

Paranormal researcher Chad Morin paid $150 for a temporary special-use permit from the U.S. Forest Service to “attempt to locate the famed Bigfoot creature.”
“I think the permit pretty much speaks for itself,” Teresa said. “Why would you issue a permit if something doesn’t exist?”
A pre-search meeting was filled with persons who are interested in the subject. They were reluctant, however, to share their stories, especially with the press.

“I don’t talk a lot because I don’t want to be put on the sixth floor,” one man said, referring to the location of a mental health unit at a nearby hospital.
Researchers and investigators said they are planning another hunt next spring.

TCC -  The area  around Cave Run Lake has had a history of bigfoot activity in the past.
One account according to the BFRO was when Pam Lovins had a face to face encounter while investigating sighting reports in the area. Pam Lovins is a  BFRO investigator from West Virginia who had traveled there to investigate the area. This face to face between Pam and bigfoot took place in 2008. Pam stated "The facial appearance of the one I saw with my headlight, in no way resembled what I had always imagined".
According to KentuckyBigfoot.com there were 2 sighting reports back in 2006. One witness described the creature as being "around 8 foot tall and very hairy".

There are many other reports in and around Rowan county, so this more recent report should not just be dismissed.

Another Bigfoot sighting in Bell county, Ky

This sighting has never been reported until now. This is a person I personally know and can say that in all the years I've known them they have always been a honest and a down to earth type of person.
This person is also a Christian and a respected member of the community.
They have ask to remain anonymous for fear of public Ridicule and to not bring attention to themselves.

This sighting took place around hwy 92 in bell co,KY. The Cumberland river is only about 2 miles from the actual sighting area and there is a creek run within 200 yards of the sighting area. This is a very compelling story.
