I put out a call for Bigfoot and UFO sightings and got in this report of a Bigfoot crossing Hwy 41 in California. Although the submitted report is somewhat brief, it still contains some good information and helps establish a history and base for sightings in the area.

Describe sighting in detail:
I was coasting down hill on hwy.41 N., when I noticed the car coming up hill hit his brakes.
I thought deer, but to my surprise this huge dirty brown hairy critter was standing over center
line.
I applied my brakes, he then turned his whole body to face my car. He stepped 2 times
and was out of site.
The creature was 8-9 ft tall.

If I'm correct and I think I am, Hwy 41 runs through Paso Robles up to Fresno. This sighting area would appear to have very little wooded area now but could have possible had more back in '77. There is also the possibility that the creature could have been moving into or looking for a better living area or maybe just heading to a water source. Its hard to say for sure.

Finally some Bigfoot time.

This is just some field research work from 12/5/14. Nothing really amazing, other than the scenery, but I do find some odd things. It was just great to get back out in the mountains. I recorded almost 20GB of video on that one day and hiked over 10 miles in mountains that are almost straight up.
I'm not like a lot of these other "Bigfoot researchers" and "experts", I actually get out in the deep woods and look for evidence. I do know Bigfoots are in this area, so I'll keep searching.

Real Mermaid?

It's time for another round of Real Or Fake! I take a story or photo from the internet and dig deeper to see if I can find out the truth about it and then let the readers know if it is Real or Fake!

Today the subject is the "Mermaid body found" story.  For those who don't know the back story, here it is in a nut shell:  "A mermaid body has washed up on the beach and if found by someone."  As you look around you will find different places associated with this mermaid body. Some reports say it was found in Mexico, some say Ireland, some say Hawaii and various other places.

Accompanying the story is several photos show the torso and the tail fins of the suppose creature.

As most of you might already know, this "Mermaid Body Found" story is a FAKE. It was a prop created for the Pirate of the Caribbean movies.

Another Bigfoot report from Nova Scotia, CA

I had shared our sightings map on facebook and put out a call for reports and Leo Frank sent us in the details of his sighting. So a big thanks to him.

In the summer of 97 I had just returned home from a year working out west in Alberta, most Maritimers head out that way for work in their teens or early twenties. After any time away from home I always head back to the south mountain near Wolfville Nova Scotia. The area has always been a special place for me with a lot of great childhood memories. The area around my grandparents property is mostly forest and across the road there is a brook where I had my first possible Sasquatch encounter in 1985 along with  six friends.

There were stories of what the people on the mountain and in the valley area called the tramp or hobo, apparently it was supposed to be a homeless man that wore animal furs and could not speak clearly, smelled really bad,did not shave and would chase people out of the area and away from the brook.

One night in the fall of 1964 a fifteen year old T. Coldwell was leaving the neighbors house to go home to what is now my Grandparents property and as she left the walkway and started out across the road to head up the mountain something very tall that cast a shadow across the entire road ran out in front of her and in to the wood lot between the properties. The only thing she was able to tell me was that it was very tall was across the road in just a few steps and that it scared her so bad she ran back into the house and would not leave until the next morning and had to have someone walk her home.

I also spoke to A&S Allen who told me of seeing a large black or dark brown figure on two legs in the corner of a field while bailing hay. Mr.Allen called out to his wife and pointed it out to her. Coincidentally their son was with me when I had my first rock throwing encounter with 6 other kids in 85. There is also a piece of property on the mountain where most hunters will not go. The way it was described to me was that you could go there 10 times and things would be fine but the odd time everything would go silent the birds would not make a sound the squirrels stopped making noise and you just felt like something was watching you, an overall uneasy feeling I guess but enough to make you not want to go back".It was like Someone would hit a switch off and then as fast as everything shut down it came back on" L. Miller told me.

This brings me to my sighting in 97 as I said I always loved the area it is an awesome place to hike and camp and I always walk up the brook never the road just the waterfalls make it worth the extra walk. On this day it had been raining a few days before so the water was flowing pretty damn good so I had to watch my step as I would cross back and forth across the water. As I turned the corner to go up to the first waterfall I saw what I thought was a black bear with it's front end in the water so I did what I always did when I saw a bear and started to back up slowly and was ready to haul ass back up the trail to my grandparents but this was not a bear it stood up, turned to his left and looked straight at me.

This was not what I thought a Sasquatch looked like as he was only about six foot and built like a light heavyweight wrestler or boxer . The hair on the chest and abdomen was black and thinner than the longer hair on the arms and legs there was no point to his head although his brow ridge was out further than a man, his face was dark like leather around his eyes, cheeks and some of his forehead his nose was flat with wide nostrils. His mouth was wide with thin lips that were a lighter color than the skin on his face. His neck was short, the neck muscles were visible. He stood there looking at me and only moved his head once to smell the air like what a dog does when you walk past it with food and then turned back at me.

I don't know how to describe what I felt at that time other than to say it felt l was there longer than I was, like time slowed down. It wasn't like fear it was very odd.There was no smell from him that I noticed and his eyes were a dark color, if I had to guess I would say dark brown. From the  expression on his face the deep breath like a  frustrated sigh as we looked at each other,  it was like I have seen you and you have seen me lets just leave it at that. I did not feel threatened but I knew it was time to leave so as he turned to his left I turned to mine and started back down stream I only turned back to look at him once and noticed that his arm was wet and and hung lower than than a man and his back hunched by the shoulders. I watched him take two steps on his way up the bank and I turned back around and continued back to my grandparents I did not see him look back at me at all.

When I got up on the patio I tried to light a cigarette but had a very hard time as I was shaking so bad it was like being on cocaine. I sat and chain smoked for a while. The fear that I did not feel before I sure as hell felt now. I continued to research in Northern New Brunswick for 6 years after talking with some of the elders on the local Mi'kmaq reservation across the river in Quebec about Sasquatch, they were kind enough to point me in the right direction which lead me to an area that after some time I was able to find some snow tracks and eventually close enough to get a few pictures.

There are no reported sightings in the area that I had my encounters on the BFRO site and I don't imagine there will ever be, mainly because the people around the area a very private and and do not want the attention. There are things that have happened that stay in families for generations before people find out about them. The only reason I have been able to get people talking is because they have known me since I was a baby. I have worked for them, hung out with their kids or are related to them. I have wondered since my sighting if the stories of the Tramp may have actually been a Sasquatch. I don't know but I think it is possible.

This is an excellent report and the details are very similar to others I have heard. I know in my general area there have been some Bigfoot sighted that are in the 6 foot range and others in the 8 foot range.

Bigfoot up close?

Here is another video of what is claimed to be a Bigfoot up close. The uploader goes by the name  Robert Cline. Here is what the description says about the encounter:

"On August 2nd, 2014 I spotted the Sasquatch / Skunk Ape in Oleta River State Park.

It was raining all afternoon and there was nobody in the park. I was riding along one of the smaller paths in the "Mountain Bike" region of Oleta. I was about 30 minutes into my ride when I heard some branches breaking along a "nature trail". I figured it was a small animal and I would go take a peek. I got off my bicycle and walked along the trail with my camera out and ready to capture the animal....

The Sasquatch seemed preoccupied with scavenging around and did not notice me. He seemed a little off, perhaps even fevered. The whole episode lasted for ten seconds, and changed my life."


The story sounds pretty good but the video to any normal person would seem like an obvious hoax using a common Bigfoot suit.

Now, you would think that most people could see that this is a common Bigfoot suit sold in many locations and on the internet. Here is a picture of the suit.


Nothing in the Bigfoot World ever seems to be cut and dry. There seems to always be someone who will support the wildest of claims and the crappiest video. This video is no different.

As I was looking down at the comments, there were a few that called it out quickly as a hoax but there are some who believe it could be real.  Here is some screen shots of the comments I find most amusing.



See, this is the type of craziness we have to put up with. People who have seen a real Bigfoot, have found real evidence of the creature, we have to stomach stuff like this and try to remain tolerable.

What causes all of this? I would guess there are a few factors that causes the massive flooding of fake videos and such. The allure of getting on TV has to be a factor, I imagine, and the hopes of getting the "Finding Bigfoot" crew to come to your area. Another factor could the the idea of making money off of youtube views but that don't appear to be the case in this instants as I don't recall any ads being ran.  Maybe it's just a "look at me" type of thing.

What can we do? Well, we can try to be somewhat tolerable and help the ones we can and just let the rest wonder off.

As most of you know, this type of fake video is not going anywhere soon. There will be more and more as the popularity of Bigfoot grows.

Oh well, I guess the ones that know better can just try and laugh about it all, which is hard to do sometimes.

Bigfoot?

So, it seems a pretty big deal is being made out of the recent video by Christina Todd. She films what she claims are 2 Bigfoots. She was out turkey hunting and shot a quick cell phone video.
Of course, when something like this comes along, people always want it to be real, and then some analysis comes out of it and confirms it as 2 Bigfoots.

Well, I'm not buying it. If you watch the original video (found here), it appears to be just 2 hunters and not Bigfoot. Also, the acting is pretty bad.

I was just surfing the internet and ran across this picture taken in Pennsylvanian back in 2008. I can't recall ever seeing it before.

The story goes something like this:

Two men were traveling route 40 when he saw a strange object above the treeline. At first they thought it to be some type of aircraft but then they seen the wings flap. His next thought was that it was a large bird but then the creature made a turn towards his car and then made several laps above his car and they realized it was not a bird. One man described the body as being covered in dark fur and as having the wings being bat like. The 2 followed the creature a short ways and was able to take the photo above. The 2 men left after that out of fear.

Now, I don't know if the photo is real or not but it sure looks like a winged figured. Could this possibly be a picture of the famous Mothman?

Research in Area 1

In my previous youtube video, Something Turns Game Cam, I stated I have more videos to edit and get ready to post, well below you will find about a 17-minute video showing me setting up the game cams and after 30+ days returning to pick them back up. To my surprise game cam #2 had been turned and the cam caught 3 videos of the turning and the creature that did it. The video below it shows all 3 of the videos.

I know some may find this type of Bigfoot research video boring but this is how it really happens. It's a lot of trial and error and a lot of hours spent in the woods.

I do know this area has Bigfoot in it, I just have to keep working and looking for evidence. Some without a doubt will not like how I do my game cams but I'm experimenting around to see if I can get more results. After all, I did manage to get a game cam photo of a Bigfoot in 2013.
