Today I was made aware of the Expect US website and the mystery surrounding it. I would guess the biggest mystery is just who is US?
Some are tying this to a possible terror attack in the vain of 9/11 while others are thinking along the lines of Aliens and some are saying it will be the Rapture or the retuning of Christ. I think we can rule out the returning of Christ because the bible say that "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." (Matt.24:36)

I personally don't know what this mystery is all about and I'm a very late viewer of the website and the mystery about it. The photo above is a screen grab of the website, the website has a count down timer running on it and a eerie image in the background.

I also did some digging on the domain name of this site and here is some of that info.

As you can see above this website domain name was purchased in 2010, so it appears this mystery has been in the works for a few years now.

There has been a lot of UFO/Alien stuff going on, like the Citizens hearing on Disclosure, so could it be something about ETs and UFOs? Maybe.

There is also some talk of a "Signal" or "The Signal" being broadcast starting on 5/19/13 on the 5/19/13 website. It is also my understanding that several websites have been threatened by "Anonymous" to take down their websites.

So there you have it, this was only going to be a short post but as I dug it grew.
Just what is all this 5/19/13 mystery stuff about I'm not sure but it could be anything from Aliens to a website launch. I guess we will know tomorrow.

Te Hakioi, a giant raptor, described in early accounts and depicted on ancient rock drawings as a black and white hawk-like bird, with a red crest, and green-tipped wings has now been confirmed by science in The Journal Of Vertebrate Paleontology.

Also known as Haast's eagle (Harpagornis moorei), discovered in the 1870’s by Sir Julius Von Haast, it was originally believed to be a scavenger because its beak resembled modern scavenging birds like vultures. But scientist recently re-evaluated some of those findings with modern technology gleaned a different result.

These birds, said to be larger than Stellar’s sea eagle, the largest living eagle on earth, had a 9 foot wingspan and weighing nearly 40 lbs. were found to have had the pelvic support to deliver a diving blow to fairly large prey, with their diving speed reaching up to 50 mph. It was said to have claws the size of a tiger, and had the ability to strike and close its talons around its prey just like any modern eagle. Large and strong enough to carry away a small child as the legends suggested.

A true monster of the skies has been proven real. The rest of the so-called cryptids are still waiting for science to prove them. **********DF

A foot long Skull with 700 razor sharp teeth, does that qualify as a Monster?
This monster was found in Oxfordshire and it is the biggest pike ever found in Britain.
The skull was 9 inches wide.

The grisly fish carcass was found in the undergrowth next to the River Cherwell by farmer Peter Money.

Bigfoot Catching a fish?

Here is what was posted about this video:
"My husband filmed this by Fishkill Creek by Mount Beacon. He lost track of where it went and kept filming for about 45 minutes. He returned there a few more times with no luck."

I have taken a still frame from the video and attempted to enhance it. This "bigfoot" appears to be wearing shoes. You can decide for yourself.



Overall the appearance of the bigfoot looks pretty good but it does appear to be wearing shoes.
I have seen a few other videos that look an awful lot like this creature.
In my opinion this is a fake video but the fish catching is pretty cool. I think under the right filming angle this would fool a lot of people.

A 9 meters long creatures has washed up on the beach in New Zealand. The unknown beast is said to have jagged teeth and large flippers. Many beach goers said it looked "pre-historic".
Some are convinced it is a killer whale while others are just not sure about the beast.
The creature is roughly 30 foot long and appears to have been attacked by a shark or something. 

A video has been made asking for help in identifying the monster.

Move to Mars!

So, have you ever thought about moving to Mars or what it would be like to visit the Red Planet in Person? Well Good News! Apparently you're not alone.
According to Mars One, In the last two weeks there has been over 78,000 people who have filled out an application to move to Mars for ever and never return.

Mars one is a Dutch company, that just recently started accepting applications to move to Mars.
The applicants are helping fund the mission via a small fee based on where the applicant lives. For example someone living in the United States has to be a fee of $38.

Not only that but there will be a reality show where people can vote for who will be moving to Mars forever. I know some people I hope are on the show.
In any case, the last stage of the process will come down to 24-40 people and the viewing audience will get to follow them as they receive their training and as the show goes on the audience will get to vote on who will be the first settlers on Mars.

The show is planned to be a long running, global reality show that will continue to help fund the missions to Mars. There is a plan in place that will bring more settlers and supplies over the coming years. The goal is to have at least 20 settlers by the year 2033.
The first departure to Mars is planed for 2022, it will take about 7 months to land on the red planet, which according to the deployment date, will make it sometime in 2023.

Bas Lansdorp, Co-founder of Mars one, said "With 78,000 applications in two weeks, this is turning out to be the most desired job in history, These numbers put us right on track for our goal of half a million applicants."

Norbert Kraft, former NASA researcher and current medical director at Mars One said "
Gone are the days when bravery and the number of hours flying a supersonic jet were the top criteria for selection. Now, we are more concerned with how well each astronaut works and lives with the others – and for a lifetime of challenges ahead"

The Beautiful Cumberland Falls!
Cumberland Falls has been featured in 3 movies: The Kentuckian with Burt Lancaster, Raintree County with Elizabeth Taylor and Fire Down Below with Steven Seagal.
Cumberland Falls is located within the Daniel Boone National Forest in Southeast Kentucky.
The water fall itself is about 125 foot wide and has about a 65 foot drop. Sometimes Cumberland Falls is called "Little Niagara" but this Falls has something Niagara Falls does not have and that is a Moon Bow. A moon bow or lunar rainbow is a rare thing and can only be found in a few places in the whole world and can only be seen with the right conditions.

This place of beauty is also home to some paranormal activity and stories. One being "The Bride of Cumberland Falls" and/or the haunted Dupont Lodge.
There are slightly varying stories about the Bride of Cumberland falls but here is the basics of the tale.

Dupont Lodge
The story dates back into the 1950's, The story is of a  Bride and Groom that came to Cumberland Falls State Park for their Honeymoon.
The couple was staying at Dupont lodge. Before leaving the falls they wanted to have their photos taken with the falls in the background. The couple found an overlook just a few hundred feet from the falls that would work great for the photo. As the Bride stood on the Pillars at the edge of the 75 to 80 foot cliff, the Bride lost her balance and fell to her death.

Cumberland Falls has been listed as one of the top haunted places in Kentucky.
I have read several reports from visitors and people who worked at the Park, including some of the park rangers who worked around the Falls and many report seeing the ghost bride and other weird things. Some the other reports told of the ghost bride tripping people or messing up rooms that were just cleaned up. There are even some report of seeing old civil war type soldiers.

While there is many ghost tales from the Falls, I personally have not seen anything there and I have been to the Falls on a few trips as it's close to me. I do remember some other strange tales from Cumberland Falls. Many of you may have heard this before or remember hearing your family and friends talk about it.
Well as I remember, when I was a kid, around 10-12 years old, there was some stories about a person or people falling off the falls. This resulted in a massive search to recover the bodies and at one point a team of  divers was used to swim under the falls and look for the bodies. The story that was told was that the divers came out of the water pretty quickly and were really shaken up and telling people that if anyone fell over the Falls that they are gone because there were catfish down there that were as big as a Volkswagen. They went on to say that these giant catfish were easily big enough to swallow a man whole. The divers also refused to go back in the water and look for the missing people.


Cumberland Falls State Park is a great place to visit, it has plenty of forest to explore and look for bigfoot, it has the Ghost Bride to investigate, it has monster sized catfish to catch but if none of that is your thing, then the Cumberland Falls is still a beautiful place to spend a weekend hiking, boating, fishing or just to enjoy the out doors and relax.
