Recently, a couple was out fishing and found these very large human looking foot prints. In the above picture the shoe is dwarfed by the large print. According the what I've read these were found in Hoh Rainforest. The Hoh Rainforest is located on the Olympic Peninsula in western Washington state, USA.

More information can be found on facebook in the Kitsap County Bigfoot Headquarters Group. Reportedly there was 15 total tracks that eventually cut into the woods and onto a mossy area. According to information posted in the Kitsap County Bigfoot HQ, the day the tracks were found it was 38 or 39 degrees and raining. That seems a bit cold for someone to be out running around barefooted.

I'm pretty sure these were found on December 7th of 2015.

The state of Washington has had a long history of Bigfoot sightings. The BFRO.net sightings database has 615 Bigfoot reports logged in the state of Washington.

While posting the Bigfoot howls from Kentucky, I also did some research into the area for sighting reports.  The following report is the work of BFRO.net . The report is old but in the same general area as the unknown howls.

- Start Report -

YEAR: 1984
SEASON: Winter
MONTH: January
STATE: Kentucky
COUNTY: Breathitt County
LOCATION DETAILS: Turn off highway 15 toward Lost Creek about 8 miles.
NEAREST TOWN: Jackson
NEAREST ROAD: not sure of the number it ran through lost creek
OBSERVED: As a small child i grew up in south eastern kentucky. Each winter the creek that ran next to our home would freeze over and we would skate on a area we had built a crude dam on. One morning after the creek had frozen back hard after partly thawing my sister and i went to play on the ice. When we arived we noticed that what apeared to be a small bare footed child had walked across the ice before it had fully frozen. The track had a definite form a heel, front pad and five toes .It had crossed a distance of about twenty feet in six steps went up a steep bank slipped down and went on up the bank. No other prints were ever seen and i have never heard of any other encounters in that area. The print was about eight inchs long and three or four inches wide.

ALSO NOTICED: in this area of kentucky there is a large amount of heavily wooded areas thousands of acres with little to no human contact with lots of reclaimed areas with fruit trees turnips and other folage and numerus abandoned mines some well over 100 years old the area of big branch is probably 1000 acres with only a few weekend atv riders ever on them which is heavily wooded and uninhabitited

OTHER WITNESSES: my sister just going to play on the ice

OTHER STORIES: My mother once told us a story of where she lived about 15 miles from there in the big branch area when she was a child and was staying with her grandmother when at night her grandmother would place a bucket with scraps from dinner on the back porch and she thought this was strange that she didnt feed them to the hogs they kept when she asked her grandmother why she did that she told her that was for her hairy man thinking it was only a story to keep the kids in the house at night they decided to stay up to see and she said they witnessed a man covered in brown hair come down from the hill and take the bucket sit down next to the well box only a few yards from the house and it ate the food placed the bucket back on the porch and disapeared back int othe woods
TIME AND CONDITIONS: early morning and very cold below freezing with a light snow
ENVIRONMENT: heavily wooded long hollow at that time only dirt road very few familys on that hollow high applacine moutains.


Follow-up investigation report:
After speaking with the witness, the following information can be added to the report.

The witness stated that they were perfectly preserved human-like footprints and added that the possibility of a human leaving them was extremely low because of sparse population and freezing weather. The prints had been made overnight when something walked through the slush ice that had formed the day before from a combination of thawing and precipitation. The toes were quite distinct and eliminated the possibility of shoe prints in the opinion of the witness. The estimated depth of the print in the ice was just over one inch.

I discussed the possibility of talking with his mother about the content of the report in the other stories section. The timing for speaking with her currently is not good because of a family issue, but I do hope to get that opportunity in a few months.

But wait....there's more! I recently talked with Charlie Raymond from Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization and he was telling me about a report he was following up on a few days ago. Charlie's report was also in Breathitt County and it contain possible Bigfoot activity dating back several years. Plus, it also had very recent activity. The KBRO has a great database of Kentucky Bigfoot sightings.

So, it appears that Breathitt county has not only a history of Bigfoot activity, but it is still happening.

Whelp, it has happened again. I was searching around on ebay and ran across this unusual item.
I know almost everyone has watched the Chucky movies. The series has been very popular over the years. There was a lot of movie related merchandise created based on the movies. I've had and have some of this merchandise. At one time I even had a bunch of these 12 inch Chucky dolls. I don't think any of mine was haunted or possessed.

 This auction for a Haunted Chucky doll is one that might interest some of you. Here is what the seller had to say about the doll.

Notice this Chucky doll has no hair, what's up with that? Now I have not idea if this doll is haunted or not but I will admit the thing is kind of creepy looking with it's bald head and crisp blue eyes. There has been many reports of items becoming haunted or possessed and it seems dolls are at the top of the list.

For example, Robert the doll is a doll that was once owned by Key West painter and author Robert Eugene Otto. The doll, which is supposedly cursed, has become a fixture of ghost tours in the Key West, Florida area. Aesthetically, Robert resembles an early 20th-century American sailor. Contrary to popular belief, the doll's hair is not made of human hair, but rather, it consists of a synthetic material resembling wool yarn. Robert the doll has appeared on numerous TV shows and in magazines.

Then you also have Annabelle, which is a haunted raggedy Ann doll. The doll was investigated by Ed and Lorraine Warren and currently resides in a glass box at The Warren's Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut. The Annabelle doll has also spawned a couple of movies, The Conjuring and Annabelle.

So, maybe this Chucky doll is haunted/possessed ....are you willing to give this hairless doll a new home? If so Click here to buy it. But don't get scared if one night you hear "Hi, I'm Chucky, wanna play?"

It seem as if the idea of baiting or as others may call it gifting, for Bigfoot has become more popular. The idea is centered around leaving food of some sort out in hopes that a Bigfoot will be attracted to it. But this baiting can also employ other non food items such as stuff animals or other objects. I would assume that gifting has happened in the past but is more widely used today among researchers.

For this post I wanted to focus more on the food aspect of gifting. I'm sure Bigfoot would eat just about anything but like most of us, Bigfoot probably has favorite foods.

When I'm running experiments with food I normally leave out apples. It seems that apples are one of the more popular foods left out for Bigfoot. I left out a pile of apples in front of a game camera and it seems that apples are popular among many forest creatures. One of the most notable captures I filmed with the game cam, was some crows coming in and taking the apples. During this experiment, I did not care what took the apples, I wanted to see how many different animals would come to the apple pile. There was a bunch of different animals, including deer, squirrel, and coyotes. I wonder, if crows or other birds take bait items and some assume it was take by Bigfoot. We must carefully consider missing gift items. Some don't use cameras when gifting, which may increase success but may also increase the chance of misinterpretation of missing items.

Over the years I have used a lot of different foods in experiments. Peanut butter seems to be popular but one must remember that bears really like it as well. Peanut butter is very popular among Bigfoot researchers. I have also used bananas a few times. I would place the bananas high up in trees.  I have heard of some researchers using dog food, potato chips, eggs, potted meat, hot dogs, tuna and just about any other food you can name.

Of course results have varied with researchers who use food as a baiting item but mostly the efforts have not produced much in the way of Bigfoot photos or evidence. The lack of success using food could be due to the fact that Bigfoot gets the idea that the item is not normally found in the area and avoids it. Sometimes when something seems odd or out of the normal, animals will be much more cautious or avoid it all together.

I got in this email report of a possible Bigfoot in Tennessee. The email was a bit vague and I could not locate the exact spot on the map. I attempted to find the locations mentioned. It is my guess, at this point, that the area is in between the two places circled in the above map image. I hope to get more information in the future or maybe someone else from this general area will come forward.

Once again, this report was taken by the BFRO but is of importance to me because it is in my area. Full credit to the BFRO and BFRO Investigator Stan Courtney. This is yet another sighting in Harlan county, Kentucky.

- Start Report -

1981- 119 north to southeast Community college turn right onto 179 - near Louellen- seen by 2 people

OBSERVED: In 1981 me and my brother-in-law were going to work. I saw something ahead of us kneeled down alongside the road. As we approach it it stood up and walked backwards into center of road squated and looked at us then leaped over the embankment. It was about 7 feet tall, big legs, small upper body with thin longer hair on chest and arms, short neck and short thick hair on legs, dark brown in color. We got within 20 to 30 feet of it. Our headlights on bright. The road stays in bad condition. Travel is very slow.A bag of garbage torn apart was found where animal was seen kneeling.About 2 weeks later another person seen same thing running across the road .

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Stan Courtney:

"I spoke with the witness by phone.

He stated that he and his brother-in-law, both miners, were on their way to work at about 3 a.m driving the narrow roads of the Appalachians. The weather was cool and clear. As they came around a curve the animal was squatting along the road going through some garbage that someone had dumped. He quickly stopped the jeep. They were able to observe the animal for about thirty seconds in the high beam of the headlights. The animal took two or three steps backwards into the center of the road, turned and looked at them. Then it squatted down and leaped twenty to thirty feet off the road and was gone down into the ravine.

He described the animal as being about eight feet tall, upper torso being slender and weighing about 300 pounds. Because the hair was so tight he could see the definition of the muscles as it squatted. The calf muscles were especially huge. The black hair was very short on the lower body with somewhat longer and thinner hair on the chest and shoulders. The head was round with a short neck. He was unable to see any facial features.

I also spoke with his brother-in-law. He stated that the next year he had seen what he thought was probably the same animal briefly about a mile further up the road."

This sighting was back in 1981, but the area has continued to have sighting even until this day. This is an area where I have been a many times. In sharing these reports, it is my hope that others will come forward and contact me about their sighting or encounter.

I've had this report for a few years now, but have never posted it here on the website. I had posted it up on our facebook page but not here. This report is also called "The Dewey Lambert report". I met Dewey on facebook and he told me about a possible Bigfoot encounter he and his wife had in Alabama while fishing. Dewey had filed the report with the BFRO, so he just send me over the report. So what follows is the initial report that Dewey file with the BFRO, So full credit to them.

Dewey Lambert Report:
YEAR: 1994
SEASON: Fall
MONTH: September
STATE: Alabama
COUNTY: Cleburne County
LOCATION DETAILS: From I 20 you get off at the Heflin exit and go through Heflin and get on hwy 78. You will see signs directing you to Pine Glen, a camping area, and Coleman Lake soon after this point. The roads are dirt roads, but follow the signs to Pine Glen and about 3 miles up the road on the left you will see a sign for Sweetwater Lake. This road will go down about 1/2 mile to the lake.
NEAREST TOWN: Heflin
NEAREST ROAD: I 20
OBSERVED: About 7 years ago my wife and I were at a lake in the middle of the Talladega National Forest in Alabama. The lake was sweet water lake. We were fishing in a small boat at the end of a slew early in the morning, we were the only ones at the lake, I think it was on a Wednesday and we were all alone. We heard something scream, it started out as a howl and turned into a long high pitched scream and it was so loud it echoed through the mountains. It made the hair stand up on the back of our necks. But that is not all. About a year before that My stepfather and I were hiking around the same lake, we liked to fish at a spillway way on the backside of the lake, and about 1/2 mile into the hike we crossed a fire brake about 20 feet wide, now keep in mind that we are a pretty good way back in the woods, we have crossed rocks thorns and briers and all kinds of rough ground. And right there across the dried mud in the fire brake is a set of foot prints dried into the mud. They were not huge they were about the size of a full grown man but they did look human, I just couldn't understand why a man would be this far back in the woods without shoes on. And over the years there is one thing I have thought about a Bigfoot would have to grow up, so maybe it was a young Bigfoot.

OTHER WITNESSES: Myself and my wife

OTHER STORIES: I once worked with a man in Alabama that after we became friends, told me he and his whole family were picking huckleberries at Sweetwater Lake, the huckleberries grow wild all over the area.He and his wife and two children were picking away when they all heard something in the trees. They all turned around to see a harry man standing there. He said it was a little taller than a man and as soon as it saw them it ran off into the woods. It scared them so bad that they left.

TIME AND CONDITIONS: the scream was in the early morning and I saw the foot prints at about 10:00 or 11:00 in the day

ENVIRONMENT: It is a lake in the middle of the Talladega National Forest. With pine and hard wood forest around, with miles and miles of forest between the lake and the nearest town. The name of the lake is Sweetwater Lake near Coleman Lake.

ANOTHER STORY: My stepfather and a friend were doing some primitive camping and hiking near Sweetwater Lake and in the middle of the night my stepfather thought he saw his friend stoke the fire and put wood on the fire. He thanked his friend the next morning for doing that in the middle of the night to keep the fire going and his friend said that he slept like a rock all night and never got up. My step father can’t see that well without his glasses on but he said he could see good enough to tell that someone did stoke the fire that night. He could see someone or something standing moving and stoking or playing in the fire .This was around 2001.

Facts & Info
Talladege National Forrest - TNF is 392,567 acres - that's 613.39 square miles!
This is a very large area and could easily contain Bigfoot as there are lots of area, food and water.
 
Fact - The Alabama Bigfoot Research Team recently had an outing in TNF. It lasted from Oct. 15-20 of 2010.

Sweetwater Lake - This is a 58 Acre Lake located along the Pinhoti Trail between Coleman Lake and Pine Glen Recreation Area.

Fact - There has been several reports of Bigfoot and/or tracks and/or screams from TNF. Some of the hiking Site/Tours for trails in TNF past this along the information about Bigfoot sightings.


So in the end it seems very possible that what Dewey and his wife could have heard the screams of a Bigfoot. The tracks that Dewey found about 1 yer before may have also been made by a Bigfoot. Anyone taking a vacation in Talladege National Forrest might just have one of those unforgettable vacations.

A few days ago, I was in my research area and found an old tree twist, pictured above. The tree twist was 10 feet off the ground. The area I research in has gone through some changes in the last 3 or 4 months. One of the stick formations that I had been documenting for almost 3 years, suddenly was torn down a couple months ago. What tore it down, I do not know. Could have been wind or rain. The activity in the lower-lying areas has been very minimal or none at all. While in the area a few days ago, I went farther back into the woods. This is where I seemed to find a few signs, like the twist, that Bigfoot was still in the area.

Still, I wonder what tore down the stick formation and why they moved out of the lower-lying area. Could it be because of the weather? Someone suggested that the stick formation could have been torn down due to a larger more dominant male moving into the area. I guess that could be possible.

Why did the Bigfoot move out of the lower areas? Could it be that the leaves on the trees are all off and they wanted to go deeper in the forest to avoid detection? Could it have been because of some heavy rains and the swelling creek near by?  I'm not really sure on what caused this movement, maybe it was just a natural movement for wintertime.  A movement to be closer to a den. Maybe it is some combination of the above.

Another thing that might have played a part was that a mountain within about a mile of the main activity area, slid off. If that played a part, then that would mean that the Bigfoot had prior knowledge of the coming slide. I have always heard that animals know when bad weather is coming and even earthquakes, so I think it could be possible.

Not knowing answers to questions like this, is one of the things that keeps me going back and researching. Also, while in the area, you could hear the dump trucks hauling dirt and dumping it. The tail gates of the dump trucks would slam into the back of the truck beds. This created a very large banging sound. It was annoying to me, so I can only imagine how Bigfoot might react to this loud banging.    

Speaking of tree twist, I have found a lot of tree breaks but very few where the limb had the twist to it. Some people of course dismiss all tree breaks and twist but I have found Bigfoot tracks right next to fresh tree breaks. So it is pretty clear what did them. The twisting of tree limbs seems to happen in other Bigfoot areas more than it does in my area. One researcher I follow a lot is Randy Brisson. He has posted and shared tree-twist pictures over the years. It has been my experience that in real areas of Bigfoot activity, you will find broken and twisted tree limbs.

There are still many unanswered questions about Bigfoot and Bigfoot behavior. Sometimes, at least for me, the not knowing the answer is what gives me a drive to research and look for Bigfoot. It's a puzzle and I just want to fill in a few of the pieces.

Haunted Possessed doll Auction!

Here is what is said about the doll:

"As the title says, this is not a joke. Now we are not saying that this is an evil doll that her head is going to spin around and vomit pea soup. But at least 8 - 9 times in the past year, we have come into our store to find her somewhere other than the shelf she belongs on. Usually in the middle of an aisle in a part of the store where she doesn't belong. And even one day manage to fall (jump) off the shelf in the middle of the day. We got into an all day long discussion of how often one of us finds her on the floor to return her back on her shelf. Did not realize the other finds her out of place just as much. So that night we decided to bury her under a pile of other dolls so there would be no mistaking where she should be come morning. The next morning I arrived alone and walking past the doll shelf I noticed one of the dolls we placed on top was almost falling off the shelf. To my amazement "The Doll " wasn't on the shelf. It almost looked like she pushed her way out. At this point I'm totally freaked out and start looking for her. It didn't take me long to find her, I found her laying on the cash register. The register was turned on with the numbers 6913. I always shut off my register at night. You can believe or not but I no longer want the doll and do not want her back. No returns."

This is kind of like an end of the year type post where I will fill you in on some of our research efforts that are currently going on. This is not our last post for this year, but I know at this time of year people get very busy with Christmas and family time, so I wanted to get it in.

So here we go.

Oregon Area
Lets start with our researchers out in beautiful Oregon, Bobby and Corinna Long. This past year has been a bit slower for Bobby and Corinna due to the fact that they moved and were busy with various life events. This move, which is in prime Bigfoot territory, resulted in them being without internet service for several months. They did manage to keep in contact with me and have been doing some research.

Recently, the discovery of  8 possible Bigfoot tracks have got their pulse racing. These tracks were found near a creek. The creek is filled with salmon that are getting ready to spawn. The salmon are an excellent food source and are loaded with protein. Protein is an essential part of the diet,(human or otherwise) as it helps fight off disease and keeps the body functioning properly. The tracks were over 15 inches long and 6 inches wide. The tracks were washed away due to the heavy rain.

New Hampshire Area

Jason Morse takes care of  New Hampshire and surrounding areas for TCC. Jason recently won Bigfoot picture of the year in the 2015 Paranormal Award contest. This past year Jason has had very limited time for researching due to his heavy real world work load. He has managed to still put in some time in the field and attended a couple of events.

As this year is coming to a close, Jason has had a recent influx of Bigfoot sighting reports. He is currently working 3 cases in the New Hampshire area. One of the cases includes some tree knock interactions and another with some tree breaks. More information will be coming soon.

Super zoomed

Another case I have already covered some in a couple post and a youtube video. It involves a sighting of a large Bigfoot. The posts on this case can be found Here and Here. Some falsely reported this case as being in Kentucky but it is in the New Hampshire region. We do not want to disclose the exact location as the investigation is not complete. The pictures show a large figure moving off to the right. The pictures are not the best as they were taken at a long distance.

Jason hopes to have some witness interviews for these cases in the future along with some field research.
