There is a big thing looks half HUMAN & half back bear, it is along soddy creek, on the Dunlap side, in eastern Tn.
12/ 10/ 2015 5:12 pm **it has a slump in upper back and the face is kinda flat looking with hair all over it. The eyes were black, and the hair was long. It walked with a slump & limp as if it was hurt.
It scared the hell out me and it had me frozen in place as I watched it toss a tree like it was nothing at all .
It just looked at me and walked on its way, I was on other side of creek on our family land, the water was high or it could have had me for dinner. Just know it is REAL and lives.
I how ever will continue to stay CLOSER to the cabin were it does not travel, I GUESS mom's animals keep it away.
Thanks, my mom told me not to EVER tell anyone about this, as it has been seen for MANY Years off and on by family members. I thought it was just a tale to keep us out the back woods around the creek for our safety, but it was a TRUE FACT it lives !!!!!

As you can see this report has some details but just not enough to zoom in on an exact location. It is my wish that someone else from the area will recognize the names of the creek and area and come forward.
From what I can gather from the email, the creature has been seen many times. So there is a good chance others in the area have seen it.

sounds like the soddy creek gulf maybe? We call him the Holler man/Hollow man. Sometimes could be a tree, sometimes tree moves.
