Why Most Chupacabra Sightings Are Fake?

By Dorraine Fisher

Of all the cryptids believed to exist on the planet, you might be surprised by which one I find to be the least likely to exist. At least by the definition of this cryptid that people think they’ve seen. And this is the fabled chupacabra or goat sucker believed to be responsible for brutal, bloody livestock attacks and mutilations. But I’ll tell you why I feel this way.

In many cases of supposed sightings, witnesses see or photograph a creature that is hairless, gray or black, and doesn’t look to them like any known animal. But disease and deformity can cause any creature to appear different than it normally would.

The Crypto Crew - New Strange Creatures Edition
The New Weirdest of the Weird - Real Or Imaginary

By Dorraine Fisher

Every once in a while I like to do a new Google search and see what kind of strange creatures are popping up on the internet these days. And, as usual, it doesn’t disappoint. Now, keep in mind, we don’t necessarily endorse these photos as being proof of anything authentic. But many of them are interesting to think about. Check them out and see what you think.

What is it?
I've seen these pictures floating around on the internet and wanted to share some of the story and my thoughts about it. I do not know who first posted the story, but here is what I have read about it.

A group of firefighters reportedly found this almost human looking body in a river in the Republic of  Paraguay, which is in South America. Reportedly the over all length of the body of the corpse is around 3 feet long, give or take.

Most people were pretty quick to point out that the unknown creature has human looking hands with four fingers and a thumb on each hand. The feet are very similar to the hands. It was stated that the firefighters first thought they have found a dead person, but upon checking it more closely realized it was no human.

Some described the head as being frog like. According to the report, a doctor examined the creature briefly and could not identify it.  Many people speculated as to what the creature was. The speculation ranged from human, to alien, to Chupacabra, to an iguana that was swollen up by decay and water. It was also reported that the creature had a tail.

Now, while I have not touched or seen the creature live and in person, I think I know what it might be. I did a search of animal types in Paraguay because I thought it resembled a monkey. The search revealed that Paraguay only has one type of monkey, the Black Howler monkey. The body size of the Howler monkey is basically the same size as the unknown creature. The hands, feet and face are also very similar. So, it is my assertion that this unknown dead creature is just a Black Howler monkey that has decomposed and lots all it's hair.

What do you think? Mystery solved?

Thanks
~Tom~

Remains of something

I was zooming around the internet and ran across this story of some remains being found in Chile. The story basically says that these remains are from a couple young Chupacabras, also known as Goat suckers. The remains were found by a farmer. They where found on top of some stacks of hay.

Some people at first thought the almost mummified remains were of bats but upon closer inspection this was ruled out.

No size was given of the creatures but they appear to be rather small to me. They have sharp looking teeth and claws and I'm guessing that is why they assumed this could be what was left of a couple young Chupacabaras.

Here is a close up of the skull of one of the creatures.
Skull of unknown creature.
So what to you think it could be? I personally, as someone else mentioned, think it might be baby kittens that where abandoned by their mother and just died. The heat from being in a barn or other enclosure caused them to dry out and become mummified.

Thanks
~Tom~

what is it?
Chupacabra or Raccoon

"This video of a strange creature has been circulating in wildlife and cryptozoology circles this week. Many are touting it as the elusive creature known as the chupacabra, Texas blue dog, or goat sucker reported in the southern US and Mexico. Or could it just be a fox or raccoon with mange? Animals with mange are often hard to identify without their hair and they're often reported to authorities as chupacabras. And this seems to happen more often in the warm southern states where animals with mange could more likely survive the winter without their hair. So what is this animal really?

The animal expert in the video claims it's some kind of canine, but it's feet don't quite fit that profile. It's feet strongly resemble that of a raccoon and it uses them like hands just like a raccoon. So it's quite possibly a raccoon with mange. But the sound it makes isn't like that of a raccoon. It's more of a growl, though a sick animal might make strange sounds. So the jury's still out. What do you think this animal is?"

The Goat Sucker Strikes again!

Looks like the Chupacabra is back on a killing spree in Mexico were 97 sheep were found dead. The sheep were found in the California Alta province of Mexico. According to the report all the sheep that was found dead on the ranch had three puncture wounds in their chest and all were drained of blood.

Over the last two years, alleged chupacabra attacks have multiplied in Mexico, with over 12,000 animals dead and most were drained of blood.

I must say the website in which this report comes from has some very questionable content but you can make up your own mind by clicking the link above.

what is this?
What is this strange creature?
[Again, I really don't know who to credit this story to but will list sources at the end of the post.]

This strange looking creature was found near a farm in Mexico by two garbage collectors.
The unknown creature was said to be around 4 inches long and appeared to be mummified humanoid of some sort. The creature appears to have an elongated head, arms, legs and a possible tail.

This story gets a bit more bizarre as Miguel de la Torre, the leader of a UFO research group in Mexico, confirms that his group had registered the findings of three other similar creatures.

It was reported that the creature was packed in a way to prevent it from deteriorating and sent to a lab for analysis. If the results have been published I did not find them. This photo and incident is now over a year old, so either the results were nothing unusual, being suppressed or I just didn't find them.

After this story got out, some of the locals in the area thought that this could be a fetus from a Chupacabra. It is my guess, with this being found near a farm, that it is a known farm animal. But what about the other similar creatures found by the UFO group? This I have no idea about.

I also wonder why a UFO group is involved in an unknown animal case, does that seems odd to anyone else? Shouldn't fish and wildlife have been called before a UFO research group?

Well, in any case here is a slightly enhanced version of the above photo.

could this be a fetus from a Chupacabra?
Chupacabra Fetus?

Thanks

Chupacabra Killed in Mississippi
Chupacabra - Goat Sucker
Could the Chupacabra be just a mangy dog or coyote? or could it be it's own breed?
A Lena, Mississippi man is confident that the hairless, red-eyed animal he killed in his hay barn yesterday is a Chupacabra — and he has the carcass to prove it. (Source: Outdoorlife )

The legend of El Chupacabra has been around for years, with many possible killings and filming's.
What do you think it is?

Thanks
