Describe sighting in detail:
A large hairy bipedal creature crossed the road in front of my daughter and I while driving home. It only took 2 steps to completely cross the road.
It then disappeared down the bank into some trees.
I also heard strange howls and screams for several nights after that.
Update - It was 7 1/2 to 8 ft tall and dark brown.The sighting happened on hwy 773 about 1 1/2 mile from hwy 2. There is a large lake and cemetery close to where we saw it. I live less that 5 minutes from there. My daughter who is 21 now is still nervous to go outside at night by herself.
I found out that there have been several other sightings in Tippah county
over the years that have been reported to the GCBFRO. One happened only about 5
miles from where I had my sighting and it was reported by 2 deputies.
-End Report-I have attempted to contact Robin in an effort to get more details about the appearance of the creature and will update if I get any other information.

i live 4 miles from kossuth ms.thought i would tell you a few incidents i have known in 1982 or 83 me ,my wife and 3 year old son were coming down a road near crow mountain near the hatchie river we heard a yelping sound and we saw a chimpanzie playing on a tree. now no one believed us.and between 20011 and 2005 i and my nieghbor bout 11pm one night heard a call like the recording of bigfoot we both just froze on my porch amazedat what we heard.it was matbe an 1/8 mile north of us,then sometime later a month or so i heard it to the west of the place i heard it first then a few days later i haerd it to the southwest of my huose, my friend has passed on but i will always believe we heard bigfoot here ijn alcorn county ms.
