TCC's booth at Paranormal for Paws

For those who may not know, Paranormal for Paws is an event that brings together the paranormal field and the animal care field in an effort to raise awareness of the work done by no kill animal shelters in New England.

Even though TCC was a late addition to this event, we think the cause is great and are proud we were able to take part. I also want to send a special thanks to the gang over at S.T.U.R.S. for all their help, they were phenomenal!

I recently got this report of what could have been a possible Bigfoot in Westmoreland County, Pa. Over the years there has been numerous reports of Bigfoot in Pa.

Here is the report.

We take our dog around the side to the back of the house to relieve himself.  One night I took him, a purebred German Shepard.  The backyard is very dark, no lights.  He stopped right at the edge of the light from the street, hackles went up from tip to tail.

He began a very low, deep growl and began backing up.  It scared me and caught me off guard.  I asked him what was wrong as he was pacing like a lion in a cage would do, his gaze fixed on one spot.  I began shaking, wondering if we were about to be attacked, by what?  I hadn't a clue.  My ears were filled with my own fear so I don't remember hearing anything but my dog growling.  I yelled, "I'm going to let him go and can't be held responsible for what he will do to you!"

Then my dog, proving me a liar, turned tail and ran to the front.  How I kept up, I still don't know.  He got to the front door and pawed and whined at it until we got inside.  I told my hubby, but got the usual "you're crazy woman".

It was forgotten about until two days later when we had a few inches of snowfall overnight.  I went to our dining room to look out over the backyard to the snow and noticed a very odd line of tracks.

They were long, three toed, with broad steps.  It appeared to be made by something with 2 legs the way they were laid out.  I know bunny tracks, I know cat and dog tracks.  These looked nothing like those. They were too big, toes too spaced out, too deep.  Even my hubby was stumped.  We did take cellphone pics, unfortunately those pics were lost with the phone.

 I'd forgotten about it for a year or more, until our local community college, WCCC had its first ufo/bigfoot conf.  There I met Stan Gordon and on his display table I was so excited I couldn't speak!
The exact same tracks we had witnessed!  I asked him where he got those, and truly sounded like a babbling idiot.  He perked up when I told him where we lived.  Then he proceeds to tell us about the great Bigfoot scare of the 70's in Grapeville!  I nearly fainted!

 I've never seen those type of tracks since.  The only other time our dog acted like that was in Grafton WV camping in my moms trailer.  He fixated, growled, paced and I couldn't get him to come til he turned tail and ran again.  I immediately ran inside and locked the door.  Whether it was a bear or bigfoot, I really didn't want to encounter either alone.  Just thought I'd share, thanks!

Cool item.

Back about 2 weeks or so ago, I was searching on ebay for me a bigfoot t-shirt because all I really have is the TCC ones. While doing some searches I ran across an unusual bigfoot item. It was a homemade, hand written and stapled together bigfoot book. It only contained 36 pages and has pictures that were ran off on a printer and pasted into the book. The book documents a family's Bigfoot sightings and their own efforts at researching the creature and finding evidence.

Needless to say, I actually purchased the unusual item and now have it in my collection. I thought  I would share some of it with our readers and supporters.






Here is a page from the book. Under the photo it says "the landlord's cattle fencer. I saw a bigoot step right over the fence." The book has several photos of "nest" and even some pictures of  tracks and food gifts left out.











Here is another page and if you click on the picture you should be able to read what is written above the photo. I have to say, I have enjoyed the little book. It is pretty good reading and I like the fact it is unique. 









 

The very back of the book is filled with questions. Questions that are attempted to be answered in the book.

This all happened in the fall of 2001 in western Kentucky.
Best I can make out the book was written by The Zion Family.

Towards the end of the book they talk about UFO over the cattle fields and mutilations.

They also talk about some other books they written that was sold or published.



I have never heard about this family or this Bigfoot book but I have enjoyed it and will add it out my small archive of Bigfoot stuff.

I just wanted to share this weird little find I stumbled upon. If anyone has more information about this family or these reports, I'd be glad to hear about them.

I got this sighting report from Bigfoot researcher Jay Haas a few days ago. As some you my know, I recently did an interview with Jay. You can read that interview by Clicking Here!

On the map above I have used the color yellow to indicate the creek and the color blue to indicate the 275th ave road. Both the road and creek continue north on the picture, this sighting took place somewhere along the road.

Describe sighting in detail:
At approximately 12:30 am, 2 friends and I arrived at the lamalees creek on county road 275th avenue. We parked on the left side of the road, facing northwest.
We stopped to relieve ourselves and were then standing next to my car, in between the car and the side of the road talking for about 20 minutes. When we all heard a limb snap very close to the car from the wooded area next to the car. All of us heard it.We stopped talking for a few moments wondering what it was. Our conversation resumed and shortly after something small landed on the hood of the car. I was closest and turned my head and watched it slide off the hood on to the ground. I don't remember what it was. A stick, maybe, the car was parked under a over hanging tree we still didn't think much of it.

It was a nice nite with a very bright low hanging moon. Everything had a blueish tint to it. I told my two friends lets walk down to the creek{lamalees} which was behind us, 60 feet. On both sides of the creek are 2 abandoned rock quarries, one dating to at least 1900, the other, 30years later. A truss bridge with wooden planks used to bridge the creek, removed, it is now a convect concrete dip, with 3 large pipes running under it. In high water, 4 feet, it flows over the concrete. I told the guys there were craw fish on the east side of it and a rock shelve like water fall we should go check out.

We crossed the road directly behind my car and were walking on the opposite side of the road to the creek crossing. In a single file line I was the last, and at the rear as we walked. We began to hear splashing in the water, to our right as we approached .Suddenly my 2 friends stopped in their tracks. My view was blocked by them, still hearing the splashing in the creek getting closer, I walked to my left, and around to the front of both friends to see what was making the splashing. I observed first a very tall upright figure walking with its arms and hands to its sides, the water was probably between its knee and ankles deep. It was crossing our path walking directly to our right coming closer. I noticed the next thing is it appeared to have no neck. It was black in color. I noticed it had very long arms that were kept to its side. It was probably with in 40 feet of us, almost directly in front to our right almost ready to step up on to the concrete convex pad of the bridge when it saw us.

The moon lit it up, overhead, it swung its head and its eyes glowed red, all in one motion, it did and about face, like a soldier and it walked back the way it came down the creek. My 2 friends ran to the car, and were yelling lets Go! I couldn't. I walked down to the concrete pad and stood on the edge with my lighter above my head flicking it. I don't remember seeing the eyes again, but I could see its silhouette as it stood 100 feet down the creek along a tall rock shelf which is the edge of the creek. It stood there again, like a soldier, hands to its side, stomping its feet back and forth in the water as it stood facing, and watching me. I finally went to the car and we left.

About a month or so ago I was contacted again by producers for the hit TV show Finding Bigfoot.
They were interested in reports that we had taken from the New Hampshire area.

I was able to provide a good sum of information and pointed out we had a TCC team member in NH.

After it was all said and done Team member Jason Morse and one of our witnesses was invited to the town hall meeting.

After the meeting, Jason and said witness was invited back the next day. We can not comment any further on filming or anything, but we can share some photos and hear what Jason had to say about the experience.

I think sometimes Matt gets a little bit of a bad rap but he really has provided a lot information via the BFRO website.











And no visit with the cast of Finding Bigfoot would be complete without everyone's favorite member, BoBo.

Jason said ".... Bobo was ..... nice as well.."


Jason also had this to say "....In fact, all the cast knew about us (TCC), which was cool."











So, in the end Jason had a great time and I'm glad he was there to represent our Team.
We have no idea if Jason will actually make it on TV or not or if we will even be mentioned in any way but it was a good experience nonetheless. 

I can only hope the information our team provided is useful and that it adds value to the Finding Bigfoot show. We of course can not talk about the details of the show due to NDA but of course we think it has the potential to be the best one so far. (lol)
