Ah Valentines day, why not have a post showing a romantic couple embraced near the seaside while getting photobombed by what many say is a sea monster. Love is in the air and it appears to have attracted an unexpected spectator. This photo has caused a minor stir on several websites and social media. Many are saying it is some type of sea monster that just happened to surface at the right time.
At first glance, I was like "look at that" and then I checked it out more and thought "Hey, I know what that is".
First, let me tell you who took the photo and where. It was taken by Photographer and graphic designer Michael Green. It was taken at Herne Bay, Kent, South East England back in July of 2016. Apparently Mr. Green was on vacation when he took the picture of the romantic couple.
Recently, the picture became popular as many say and see a sea monster raising out of the water. But other say it is nothing more than a seagull.
This is a very good example as to how our eyes can play tricks on us and make us see things differently than what they really are. This is a seagull and Mr. Green even confirmed it as being so in an article found here. But still yet, some people have a hard time seeing this as a bird and not a monster. It even took me a little while to actually see the seagull real good. So, in a effort to help others see it, I have outlined and labeled it. I hope that helps.
So, its not a lonely sea monster, it just a lonely seagull.
Happy Valentines day to all.
💕
Thanks
