Could Bigfoot Mindspeak Be Dangerous?
I know bigfoot mindspeak is a very touchy subject, with many believing in it and many others not believing in it. This post is not about whether or not bigfoot can or possesses this ability, but it is rather one about possible dangers of the idea of mindspeak. I know some will see the subject of this post and automatically skip past it. But I think and I feel the need to address it. Also, just for the record, I highly doubt that bigfoot have this ability. But I can not totally discount the many reports of it. I can say that it has never happened to me and I have been around bigfoot many times. I can confirm that bigfoot do speak, as I have heard them. Now, let me get to some of the things I want to talk about.
First, I guess we need to explain bigfoot mindspeak, just a little. Bigfoot mindspeak is just basically telepathy. The ability of one person, in this case bigfoot, to communicate with another person using only the mind. To speak or talk to a person without using verbal sounds. To use your mind to send thoughts and words to another being. In other words, you will hear a voice, in your mind, talking to you. Many researchers have made claims that they have had this happen while being around bigfoot. Some even claim that they communicate, with mindspeak, very often or on a regular basis with bigfoot. I know of no way a bigfoot researcher could prove that a bigfoot was mindspeaking to them.
I know that there are some, some what, compelling factors for telepathy. For example, many times people say that twins have a mental bond that will let them complete each others sentences or share some type of mental image. Another example, could be me and my wife, we have been married for 25 years and we often finish each others sentences or we both have the same idea as to what to have for supper. There is a certain weirdness to it all but it could be nothing more that a familiarity with each other. I can't ever recall hearing my wife's voice speak to my mind.
Hearing the voice inside of your head, this is where the danger lies, in my opinion. Why, you ask? Well, I hope to explain it in greater detail with the rest of this post.
I have a religious background, with lots of studying and reading. While, I know some don't believe in God or a higher power, and that is fine, I'm not trying to make you accept anything. I just want to give my perspective on this topic and the danger that may be associated with it. In the bible and Christianity there are numerous text that talks about demonic possession. There have been numerous books and movies made about it. I have read and studied several cases myself. I do think and believe there is something to it.
One of the best documentations of cases of, what is deemed as real, possessions can be found in the book by Malachi Martin, entitled Hostage to the Devil. The book documents 5 cases of official possession. The book itself is fascinating because Martin, took part in the documentation, reviewed audio records, talked to the people who were possessed and more. I know this is getting long, but please stay with me. Now, Martin is not just a run of the mill author writing a book. See, Martin was an Irish Catholic priest and writer on the Catholic Church. He knows the inter workings of how and what it takes to determine, in the eyes of the church, if a person was possessed or not. Martin was also Professor of Palaeography at the Vatican's Pontifical Biblical Institute and has many other accomplishments, but I will not go into them.
What some may fail to realize, when it comes to determining if someone is possessed, is that the process conducted by the church is rather lengthy. It may takes months, if not years to confirm someone as being possessed. They do not just jump the gun, and strap a person down. No, there are various steps which must be completed before the Catholic church will give the go ahead to perform an exorcism on a person. One of the steps, is that they have to be seen and evaluated by doctors to rule out all forms of known mental illness.
Now, with all that said, as I have read the book and read what the supposedly possessed people had to say about it all. Also, according to the many other things I have read and saw about possession. There is one reoccurring factor that is involved in almost, if not all, cases. That factor is that almost, if not all of them, report having a voice talking to them in their mind. Now, I'm not saying that bigfoot is demonic, which it could be, I don't know, but the idea of a voice in your head, could pose a danger. I know often times, researchers will recite a type of chant or speak some words that they don't really know what they mean, while bigfooting. In the cases of possession, the people sometimes reported that the voice that talked to them, went on for many, many years, until it slowly became the dominate force. One case in the above mentioned book, the mindspeaking voice started while the person was just a child, it took over many years later. It builds a rapport and becomes familiar or in some cases even a friend, to the person.
Now, I know some will think me to be nuttier than squirrel poop, and totally dismiss this post, but voices in your head could be dangerous. While, many may say it is bigfoot mindspeaking to them, you honestly don't know and there is a potential of danger. I'm not saying you are going to become possessed but there is a potential that you could be influenced in some way.
I'm not trying to change anyone's mind about bigfoot, mindspeak or religion. All, I'm trying to do is urge people to use caution. Having mindspeak, and/or reciting phrases, could open you up to dangers that you can not control or have never faced before. I know some will say, "I KNOW it is bigfoot mindspeaking with me", and that is fine. But, at the very least you should test to see if it is and put up guards to protect yourself. You could ask the bigfoot to speak with you vocally and not just in your mind.
Now, I do not know if bigfoot has the ability of telepathy but I do know that throughout history numerous people have said that they had voices talking to them in their mind. In some cases, the voices convinced the person to do heinous acts. So, knowing that, you should at the very least, proceed with caution. Ask yourself, "What if it is not bigfoot mindspeaking to me and what if it is something else, what might the consequences be?"
Well, there it is, for better or worse, my thoughts about the possible dangers of mindspeak. I could probably go on and get into other aspect of this but the post is getting rather long. I encourage anyone who is experiencing possible bigfoot mindspeak, to really use caution and examine it thoroughly. Don't just go with it blindly, go slowly and question it.
Thanks
~Tom~
