This post is mostly to preserve a record of the FBI's involvement in the cattle mutilations phenomenon. Although the post will not include all documentation, it will highlight a few pages from the files of the FBI about the phenomenon.

I can remember that cattle mutilations was hot topic back in the late seventies and most of the eighties. There were numerous TV shows and a lot of news coverage about the topic. Many people, including the ranchers themselves, were very concerned about what was going on and wanted some answers. It is only natural that at some point the FBI got involved.

I saw this story and video over at Brazil weird news blog, and it made me think about Tennessee Cave story I have been covering for the last year or so. The cave in Tennessee had a creature seen in it. We used an old document with a picture of an unusual animal on it as reference to what was seen in that cave. We were able to determine that mostly likely the creature on the document and what the witness seen where the same creature. Turns out this creature on the document was most likely a giant sloth, the some ones that supposedly made the cave in the video below. In tracking the history of the Tennessee cave, and working with the witness, we found out in deed there was a history of sloth in Tennessee.

So all that got me to wondering if some of the chambers of the cave in Tennessee was carved by some type of giant sloth, like in this video. I do remember the witness telling me about claw marks on the cave walls. I will be showing this video to the witness to get some thoughts.

" .. By the shape and the dimensions of the place we believe it was excavated by giant sloths. These sloths become extinct there about ten thousand years."



And the research and investigation continues.... I'm guessing I will have another update on the Tennessee cave in the future.

Over the many years of doing Bigfoot and UFO research, I have met some good people, who when they run into something that might be of interest, send it to me.

That is the case with these old documents. This friend is normally doing various research of some kind very often. Well, in their searching they ran across these now declassified documents from the CIA. These documents deal with UFOs. Not UFOs from another planet, but UFOs that were made here.

What I find interesting is that this was back in the 50's. If the documents are in deed honest and not a forgery by the CIA or propaganda, then it could be safe to assume that many, if not all, of the UFOs being seen are not from another planet but are OURS.
