Bigfoot or Mudfoot?
By now most of you have probably seen these couple of images floating around on social media and in various bigfoot groups.
The original story and images were posted in bigfoot groups and the story went something like this:
"A friend of mine in Louisiana was hanging deer stands two days ago ...Louisiana has a low black bear population - under 1000 in the entire state. The head and front shoulders do not look like a bear to me. It sure looks odd standing as he first started to photos - Thoughts?"
Of course the photos were debated but in the end many thought this was a real bigfoot, some probably still do. And once someone believes something is a bigfoot, it is near impossible to get them to change their mind. We can see the area is really muddy and has a lot of dark muddy water. These photos were shared, it seemed like, everywhere.
But finally someone came clean about the picture and let Mr. Hoyt know that it was not a bigfoot ...or a bear but it was their uncle who had fallen in the nasty muddy water.
According to the post, they were in there trying to winch a tractor out of the mud when their uncle Gerald fell in the mud hole. The also admit to having some "fun" with everybody. Sadly we will now have to continue to "debunk" this photo for the next 50 years. lol
Someone even commented that if you look close enough you can even see the winch cable.
Here is the post clearing up the pictures and confirming it is not a bigfoot but a person who fell in the mud. ...a Mudfoot I guess you can call it.
Well, I'm glad that it was cleared up. I also know some of you already knew this information. But posting here on our blog is an easy way to keep track of it and share when it come back up again. And it will resurface again.
I can easily see how people might interpret this image to be a bigfoot and many are all too eager to jump the gun with photos like this....I'm just glad the truth came out.
Thanks and have a great day.
Thanks
~Thomas~
