Sighting Depiction by Thomas Marcum |
Sighting Report From Montgomery County
I recently got in a sighting report submitted of a possible bigfoot sighting in Montgomery County Kentucky.
In 1796, Montgomery became the 22nd county created by the Kentucky Legislature. It was named for General Richard Montgomery, an Irishman who was killed in the first volley of the attack on Quebec in 1775. Montgomery County is located in the Outer Bluegrass region of the state. The elevation in the county ranges from 707 to 1447 feet above sea level. In 2000 the county population was 22,554 in a land area of 198.59 square miles.
Here is the report

Name: S. *****
Email: On File
State: Kentucky
County: Montgomery
Date of Sighting: 10/15/2020
Time of Day: 11:45 PM
Nearest Town: Mount Sterling
How long was your sighting: 5-10 seconds
How many witnesses: 1
Pictures or Video: No
Describe what you saw:
I had stepped outside on my porch to smoke a cigarette and walking
across my pasture I saw a very large(possibly 8’-9’ tall bipedal
creature. I was looking out that way as I opened the door and first
sighted it walking at a leisurely pace. Once it heard the door open, it
took off in a sprint and cleared 40-50 yards in about 2 seconds, jumped a
4’ tall fence and continued running never breaking its stride. After
clearing the fence it traveled another 150-175 in just a few seconds
before I lost sight of it. I didn’t get a good enough look in the
moonlight to make out any details other than being able to see he was
one big dude. At no mooing in time did I ever consider it being a
person
Phone Number: On File
What color was the creature or object: Either dark brown or black I would guess
Was other evidence found: Didn’t really look for any. I knew what’s I saw when I saw it.
More details: The creature never made a noise or turned to look at me. It just took
off and was gone before I had a chance to do anything but watch him run
away.

A thanks goes to the witness for submitted they report.
While some may think this area is too populated with people to contain bigfoot, that is not necessarily the case. If one looks at the area via Google Maps, you will see that is a lot of forest area. Also of note is that there have been other reported bigfoot sightings less than 30 miles away. Then if you go about 40 miles southwest, near Berea, there are multiple sightings.
If anyone else has seen a possible bigfoot in this area, then please submit it to us.
Thanks
~Thomas~
