Juvenile Sasquatch Sighting - Morton, Washington
PR was determined to see the "bigfoot" and as soon as his mother turned to flag down the others, he took off for the area from which the sounds had come.
His mother had been in the location before during night investigations and wanted to see the area in daylight. At age 13, PR was excited to be included when she was to go meet two fellow researchers. The research area was located near Morton, in Lewis County, Washington. The trip took place on June 2, 2012.
The two were walking down the road in the area when they heard a loud "whistle-whine-gurgle" sound come from the brush about 60 feet away on the right hand side. They stopped and listened. Hearing only silence, they continued to walk. The sound came again, only now it was louder, "like a wild pig whistling under water". And then came 3 loud "human like" whistles from the other side of the road. This seemed to come from a hill.
PR was wanting to see a bigfoot. Convinced this was his chance, he started to go closer to the pig-sound. His mother called out, telling him to stop and not go closer. He stood and watched as two trees began shaking from where he thought the sounds had come from. The sound of an approaching jeep reached them and his mother turned to flag down her researcher friends. With her distracted by the jeep, PR took the opportunity to run towards the brush and the shaking trees.
He got within 30 feet of the trees and stopped dead in his tracks. In front of him appeared to be a young sasquatch. The juvenile had stopped making the vocals and now stopped shaking the tree. Turning, he appeared to hit the trees hard with his fist, twice, resulting in two loud thuds which shook the trees. He moved quickly into the brush, and seemed to drop to all fours, running quickly out of sight. PR could hear him crashing through the brush. The whistles from the other side of the road began again. But when the jeep pulled up to PR's mother, all the noises stopped and there was dead silence.
The researchers decided to leave for "safety reasons" : if a parent or parents where on the other side of the road and the juvenile on the side with them, it could become dangerous.
PR described the juvenile as being around 5'6" tall. It had light beige hair that looked very clean and soft. The face and hands were darker, almost black looking. The eyes were black or a dark brown. He did not see the nose or mouth as the juvenile was behind a tree peeking around it at him. PR's best look was at the back of the young sasquatch as it walked away from him. He saw the back down to the top part of the legs. He was unable to see the lower legs or feet due to the brush and ground cover. The hair appeared to be around 3 to 4 inches long.
The researchers did return later but could find no definitive evidence of any of the sasquatch.
