Mountain Time - Exploring for Bigfoot & Ginseng
Today (now yesterday 9/17/21), and really the day before, I had just not been feeling like myself. Just had no energy and just didn't feel like doing anything. I was very lethargic and knew I had to get myself out of it. So, I decided to get myself ready and go to the mountains. We all know nature and the outdoors in general has healing property for most of us.
I slowly got ready and got all my gear loaded into the truck. I had planned on making myself climb the mountains until I was feeling better. If I had to hike 10 miles, I was going to do it.
So, what follows is about a 10-minute video that is filled with my thoughts, findings, and beautiful scenery. I hope you enjoy it.
Well, I didn't get the 10 miles but I did get pretty close to 6 miles by the end of the day. This time out in the mountains made me feel much better. I'm up later tonight writing this post and working when normally I would have been in bed by now.
On my trip today, I was able to find some ginseng and what I'm sure was at least three bigfoot tracks. And in the whole process, I was able to sweat the blahs away. So that was a good day all the way around and it sure beat sitting on the couch eating foods I don't need.
I'm enjoying exploring this newish area. Learning all the ins and outs of the hills and hollers. There is still much more area that I have not explored yet, but good Lord willing, I will get to do just that in the coming days, weeks, months, and maybe even years.
One thing does kind of concern me though. I have not seen much wildlife in this area. Some tracks and things like turtles and squirrels but no deer or bear. But maybe they have seen me, I really don't know. I do know this area has plenty of water and food sources, so the animals have to be there ....somewhere.
Hope you enjoyed the video and it seems I keep finding more evidence that our old buddy Bigfoot is making some rounds in there...which is always good to find.
Thanks
~Thomas~
