As I stated in a previous post, while at the Crypto Con I was told several Bigfoot, UFO and other stories. Some of these were of course not officially filed reports but some of them are very much worth sharing.

During the event one man, an older gentlemen, came and told me several fantastic stories. His sightings took place in an area of Harlan county that is home to several Bigfoot reports.

In this post I will share two of this stories. Here is the first one, which was very brief.

Where this man lives is a very heavily wooded area. There are only a handful of houses and miles of forest. He told me about walking and seeing a large dark figure moving quickly through the forest. He didn't have very much detail other than it was very large, dark and moving quickly. He seemed very sincere and a little bit shaken up about it. But the next encounter that he told me about was more detailed and had an element that I had never had reported before.

He told me he was out near a wooded area when he heard a couple odd sounds. It is my understanding that he moved closer to the woods and that is when he saw the Bigfoot. He told me that there was a big rock next to the edge of the trees. The Bigfoot peeks its head up over the big rock. The face was a dark purplish color and it had long hair on the sides of it's face, according to what he told me.

But what the Bigfoot does next is something I have never had reported before and can't recall ever reading about. He told me that the Bigfoot, peeking over the large rock, made a cat sound. He said it made a meow like a cat. It makes me wonder if this was just a mimic type behavior or if there was a reason behind it. Of course, we know or at least think, that Bigfoot can make a wide range of sound and speech but I can't recall any reports that said one was making cat sounds. So that alone is interesting to me.

Once again, the older man was very sincere and seemed somewhat distressed by the whole event. It is my understanding this happened within the last few years, but I can tell you seeing Bigfoot tends to stay with you forever.


If anyone has ever heard a Bigfoot make a meow sound, please let us know. If you know of any reports where the witness described the Bigfoot as making a cat sound, then again let us know.
