This will probably be a short review and once you read this, you will understand why it is short. I also want to alert everyone that this film is current on Amazon Prime if you would like to watch it.
The film features David Bakara and his awesome looking bigfoot museum, Expedition Bigfoot. For decades David and Malinda Bakara have searched for the legendary cryptid known as Bigfoot. In 2016 the Bakaras opened Expedition: Bigfoot! This short film is shot mainly in said museum.
This film itself is pretty good, but very short. During the film David tells about some of the exhibits in the museum and relays some of the sighting reports that have been told to him.
Most of the stories told by David are pretty interesting but I'll give you a fair warning, towards the end he gets into some of the "woo" stories. I know this will be a big turn off for a lot of people. David does a good job presenting the information and sharing some of this thoughts.
The major drawback to this film is the very short running time of 10 minutes. But there is a lot of information shared during that 10 minutes. Another slight drawback for me is the "woo" stories as I'm not a proponent of "bigfoot woo" but I am willing to listen and I try to keep an open mind about it.
For those who may not know: Bigfoot Woo is the belief that bigfoot has special abilities such as going invisible, telepathy and other super natural abilities.
One of the highlights for me was seeing all the neat stuff in the museum. The chances are that I'll never get to go there personally, so at least I get to see some of it in the film. I've had the pleasure to talking to David a few times on social media, he seems like a really nice guy.
So, in the end, the film is a pretty good watch and with the short running time, it will not take much time out of your day.
Rating: 3 out of 5
